Everything about Rory and everyone else here is superb. He has proved again and again that he is the best, looking after my two, very long lived, cats and my dogs. I have no hesitation in recommending this vet. Normally I would be very careful recommending anyone, but this is a exceptional exception! Thank you Rory.

I took my cat after i noticed he was dehydrated, however they insisted that he is ok and there is nothing to worry about. Later in the day i noticed that my cat is still dehydrated and seems depressed, turned out he was intoxicated and they failed to find out. Took him to emergency hospital where they administered IV for couple days before we had to put him to sleep. Stay away from this place.

Great place, knowledgable staff. My dog has been having health issues (stomach), and they were able to sort me out with the proper dogfood for her. Can't say enough for the service I received. The receptionist was polite and friendly. I'll definitely be back.

Fantastic vets, but the only criticism I have is the receptionist in terms of customer service. I’ve repeatedly had disappointing encounters, both face to face and via telephone, with front of house staff - without fail; abrupt, apathetic, dismissive, condescending and generally impolite. This issue was actually brought forward to us by other locals prior to engaging with Westside and I’m disappointed to have actually experienced it multiple times. Whilst the vets are wonderful enough to make up for it, I think this needs to be fixed.

Very bad service always see a different vet and none of them ever seem to know Exactly what’s wrong with your pet if they seem unsure or not able to Diagnose your pet they put it down to Allergies. You leave there no better then when u arrived and a few hundred pounds out of pocket. Very lazy an unprofessional and very very over priced please stay away if you love your pet

I've taken my cat Buster to Westside for over five years. They've always been helpful, even when I brought him in without his carry case because he had a poo incident in the car on the way there. On another occassion the vet I saw spotted he had chipped front tooth and made a recommendation for a root canal, its difficult thing to see and I hadn't noticed Buster eating abnormally but she pointed out a few signs and helped with forwarding Buster's details to a specialist. Sadly Buster hates travelling in the car so much that I'm going to have to move to a surgery who is much closer. All the best to the people at Westside, thank-you for taking care of our pets over the years!

This is the best vet practice around. My poodle and I attended (frequently) for nearly 19 years and prior to that as well. Rory the owner and head vet is amazing. very experienced and really cares about animals. Vicky is also excellent as is Valerie. I'm sure the others are too, but these are the vets I have dealt with over the years. The nurses are fantastic too. Love them all. Compassionate and expert care. I am eternally grateful to them for opening early and carrying out emergency treatment on my darling dog's last morning. Thank you Rory. They have expanded and rightly so, they're ace. They are also reasonably priced. I have always recommended them and continue to do so.

The staff and vets at Westside Vets are so caring and knowledgeable - it is incredibly comforting, especially with a sick pet. They treated my little kitty with so much compassion, and truly held my hand through his difficult illness. I can't say enough positive things about how I have been treated. I am truly touched by the personal effort made, especially by the amazing administrator Emma and Yuri the vet.

I have been using Westside Vets for the past two years & think they are superb. We see Vicky the vet & not only is she an excellent vet, taking time to explain exactly what is going in simple terms but she also has a kind, gentle manner with her patients. She manages to calm even the most nervous patients!

I have just learnt that the new owners of Westside Vets had decided not tell any of their customers that they had been bought and are no longer an independent vet. Naturally, all the vets who worked under the previous owner left after learning of this planned deception. I certainly didn't want to take my beloved animal to a Vet that feels the need to hide important info from their customers. What else are they hiding. If you want a great independent vet go to The London Vet on northcote road.

I wanted to share my experience of what an incredible vet Vicky Hogg from Westside Vets is. She has saved my dogs life... not once but twice. First when Buddy was a very small sick puppy and again very recently. Her diligence, experience and gut feel, on what initially appeared to be minor wart, turned out to be a cancer. I believe if it was not for Vicky's professional and exceptional veterinary skills, my beloved dog may not be with us today or for much longer. I cannot rate her and the excellent practice highly enough. Thank you Vicky from the bottom of our hearts. Buddy is doing really well and we hope to have him for many more years thanks to you.

Unpleasant experience regarding costumer service makes me want to give them 1 star. I missed a vaccine shot for my cat and I was told by the vet they would give it for free next time. When I said that before paying the time afterwards I was treated like a thief that was trying to take advantage of them, which I would never do. Even though in my experience the vets are good, I will never forget this.

The vets are great but the receptionist can be very snappy and short and a little rude. This vets is not great if you wrk a fulltime job. Not much option out of the 9/5 hours to get seen. Ended up having to register with another vets so I can get time slots that work around my work.

Having tried a few, I've definitely found the best practice in the area. The vets are so professional and caring. Chloe has twice gone the extra mile for my dog, investigating further to find something a vet in another practice missed and staying late on a Friday night to make sure he was ok before we went on our holiday. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Chloe, the Vet there, is incompetent. She misdiagnosed my dog on several occasions. The tipping point was when she refused to see my dog on an emergency basis because it was an hour before they closed on a Saturday. They suggested I wait until Monday with my dog who was in pain and needed antibiotics. Needless to say, I took her somewhere else as she could not wait two days to be seen (over a weekend). This is poor care and lacking on behalf of the clinic. I would not recommend this centre if you want your pet to feel cared for. It appears they see animals out of convenience, not out of the animals need. As well every time I call, the front desk is rude and rushes you off the phone. Chloe at Westside Veterinary Centre was too young and not knowledgeable. Again, the lack of care and concern was evident. Will not be going back.

The vets and nurses at Westside were so lovely and helpful and kind when my dog had a stomach bug before Christmas. I go an appointment the same day, they were hugely professional and caring. My dog is usually a nervous wreck at the vets but they made us feel so relaxed and well-cared for that he wasn't nervous, and he even took a treat which is very unusual for him!
He recovered within two days thanks to the care of westside, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

UPDATED 12/12/19: I have now left this practice since it was taken over by Big Corp about a year ago. The service had been going downhill around the time of the takeover albeit I wasn't aware it was being sold. I now take my pets elsewhere, to an independent vet in the area. The original review is historical, I have left it because I still remember and value the good times!
I've been using this practice for my extensive menagerie for nearly 18 years. Consistently outstanding in every way. The staff feel like family and they treat me and my animals like family too. I just don't recognise any substance to the few (in my view) quite offensive comments. Rory is a Legend and he and his team have laughed - and cried - with me over the years and looked after my animals as if they were their own. I'm a trained scientist and would know if anything was being missed. It never has been and Rory's team work in partnership with the owner - if they will let them of course. I have always treated the Westside team with respect and it has always been more than reciprocated. It's also important to remember that animals can't speak and vets, like the rest of us, are only human. Mistakes can happen but in my experience if you are fair and polite with people they will behave similarly towards you.

Great service from the team at Westside. They are a friendly and professional group that really care about my pet and they don't seem keen to over-prescribe or over-medicate. We even moved from another vet to have the better care at westside. Special mention to Rosie, who clearly loves her job and always goes the extra mile (even when not at work) to keep me updated about any local pet infections/viruses that are doing the rounds. Thank you!

I have been taking all my dogs and cats to Westside for many years. They saved the life of my darling Lucca at least twice. Now I have my new puppy Alfie they are always on the end of the phone giving me helpful advice on training etc. They are quite frankly the best.

I have been going to Westside clinic for over 5 years. Rory and his team are all fantastic vets. My little Westie, Scooby, always gets the best treatment. Everyone is so helpful, caring and friendly each time I see them. I had a few incidents that i need it to get an urgent appointment and most of the time they squeezed me in on the same day. I can not thank them enough for all they done so far. I have done & would always recommend Westside to all my friends and to any pet owner I know in SW London.

I can't speak highly enough of Sandra and the team of vets and staff at Westside Battersea. I engaged the office 6 months ago to help prepare my 2 dogs for export to australia. If you know anything of the australian export process, it's a nightmare, but Sandra and the team were absolutely world class in helping me prepare and get my ducks in order for the move. Sandra took the lead administratively and was always on top of it, very responsive, and always professional. I am so grateful for her(their) help and now my girls are safely in transit to Oz. Thanks a million!

Just over two years ago now we were looking for a vet near home to treat our elderly cat Chichi's renal problems when we were told that Westside were very good especially with cats.
That's an understatement to say the least, from the very first visit when Rory sat with her on his knee whilst chatting to us and all the staff were warm and friendly and interested in our little cat we knew that these lovely people would be our advisors and Chichi's veterinary care-givers for the rest of her life.
Everyone at the practice has a wonderful caring nature they did their very best for Chichi and for us - through all our questions, sadness and tears they were amazing.
They listened, answered truthfully and understood.
She had to stay in over a number of nights and she seemed uncharacteristically fine and relatively unfazed by the experience, mainly because the environment is so calm and comfortable but also because everyone there chatted to her and loved her and made her feel at home which we feel really helped her get the most from her treatment.
We feel that our little cat had the very best care here. She did well with the treatment so much so that we were able to have her at home with us at the end which was late November last year when she was just over 17 years old and we are so grateful for that.
We would not hesitate to recommend them, in fact we have already.
