I gave this a one star rating because of the delivery aspect - they delivered my two 2m sofas to my kerb - I live on my own. Do not use them if you cannot access people to help you lift your sofas into your house. Sofa.com DO deliver into your house using Covid safe measures.

I bought the Earnshaw Chaise sofa and the Henry armchair and love them both! The quality is fantastic with hard wearing and easy to clean fabric, which is a bonus with kids! I love their contemporary and comfy designs, we get lots of compliments on them. Customer service was very friendly in my experience.

Our sofa is lovely, but we didn't have the best experience. Sales assistant had a bit of an attitude and was pretty unhelpful / disinterested. All we wanted was for her to show us some options because we were worried about getting the sofa into our top floor flat. The store wasn't busy at all so I'm not sure why.

Ordered 2 chairs from Arlo and Jacob. I am so pleased with them. The customer service was super and the sales team were very helpful and efficient. Delivery was spot on, keeping me informed of the timing and the delivery guys were great!

Important to bear in mind there is an 8-10 week delivery on whatever you order - despite ordering straight after they re opened after the lockdown. Would probably not order from them again - too long to wait for a simple footstool.

Bought a sofa at great expense with the total value required up front. Then told it would take 12 weeks. No communication, finally speak to someone after 11 weeks and told the sofa was not ordered but would now be with us in 5 weeks. No apology, absolute rubbish, avoid at all costs.

After going round all the big brands and not liking any sofas,(most are too soft and poor quality) i decided on Arlo and Jacob. I bought a Pembroke in medium and snuggler, in a dark velvet -what a GORGEOUS finish! Firm to sit on but they will keep their shape due to excellent quality and design. The delivery was very professional and they arrived quicker than expected . They look great in my lounge with contrasting velvet cushions. Very happy!

***Altering my review below slightly because I have since spoken to a lovely girl on the phone who couldn't be nicer! I would, however, recommend better labelling on the products in store (some have no labels) and also in pictures in online ads/posts write what colour the fabric is.*** I still plan to buy a sofa from here but the customer service was truly awful. Maybe it’s because I arrived at 6pm, an hour before they close. Really got the impression that they wanted me out as they went around turning all the lights off! I wanted advice on a sofa but had to go in search of any help...really poor given the price of the sofas. They were far friendlier in the Bristol store. I wouldn’t go back to the Fulham one!

These are very nice high quality sofas made in England. There is a wide choice available in both modern and traditional styles. Most of the designs are refined in shape and are not massively chunky. The showroom is very pleasant and the sales staff do not pressure you.

Nice looking showroom but ignored by staff who were more interested in other customers, offering them drinks and info etc. Hard to find the products yourself as they are not clearly labelled (some none at all). Shame because we loved the Earnshaw sofa and based on the branding expected better service.

Great showroom and nice products but aftercare abysmal. Bought a chair and an upholstered ottoman which was badly upholstered, lots of wrinkles and a bit of foam left in the wrong place leaving a little lump - they sent aftercare who came to see the product, agreed it needed fixing and they would be in touch about repairing it, and no one ever contacted me again. Spend your money elsewhere.

Further update! The sofas were finally collected by A&J on July 12th, but we’ve still not been refunded for them despite their constant promises. We’re left with no alternative other than to take legal action against them in case they go bust and we never see our money again! Such a sad saga. Had they told us the truth that they’d sold the sofas we’d ordered from the very beginning, and refunded our money, we could have all moved on without this waste of time but they obviously thought we’d just accept the horrible replacements and do nothing. Please, please look elsewhere for your sofas as this is really no way for anyone to do business, and frankly having had the sofas in our house for a month we could see the quality was appalling - our 10 year old ikea sofa in the kitchen Is miles better for a fraction of the price! Update on the review below. Really wish I could give 0 stars. After several more weeks, failed arranged deliveries, and promises of reductions on the purchase price from the owner sofas finally arrived, but not the ones we bought and paid for! Apparently they were re-listed on eBay and sold again so we were sent two sofas in the wrong size and a totally different colour, which when they arrived had a large black mark on the back of one of them and crumpled and messy covers. We have requested they be collected and refunded (the full price we paid for the sofas we ordered as of course no discount was ever applied) but have been told this won’t be done until July 12th (although I am doubtful even of that). I have honestly never encountered such appalling customer service. If the sofas were wonderful it might be a bit better but after a couple of weeks being here the stuffing has sunk in the cushions, the covers have gone out of shape and they are horribly uncomfortable. Please do yourself a favour and shop elsewhere because this has really been a dreadful experience from start to finish and I just want them gone and my money back! **Would love to be able to actually review the sofas but given that it’s now several weeks past the delivery date of 2 sofas bought from the eBay site (chosen as a compromise for a fast delivery) it’s impossible to as I’ve not even seen them! Annoying enough, but even more annoying to have been promised 3 dates, made arrangements for someone to be here to receive, and the sofas not arrive and nobody calls to warn or explain. Dreadful service and really disappointing.

Abysmal service. Ordered two armchairs, first delivery brought two chairs that were so wonky you couldn't actually sit in them. Sent them back, waited another 8 weeks, second pair arrived, now the covering is ripped on both so sent them back too. I've now given up and cancelled the order, so am 4 months in the process with nowhere to sit down and awaiting a refund.
