Eco Web Hosting

I have used Eco Webhosting for a few years. Yesterday I was having major issues with another hosting provider. I had the good fortune to speak with Tack from Eco Web Hosting who expertly guided me on how to move from the old hosing to Eco. This was 100% easier with Tack’s help and he went to great length to see that all was OK. For my own sanity I will stick with Eco Web hosting as they are not only faster, cheaper but easier to use and provide excellent performance.

It’s a weekly issue for the last 3 months-emails go down, do this do that change this change that spend hours each week - gets sorted then within 12hrs it’s not working again. Use stackmail - this not working getting constant error issues that they can’t seem to understand, your IP has been blacklisted - new router is needed, you need to run this program that program, turn this on turn this off, I am not an IT wizard but they all seem to think we are, never had a problem like this in the last 20 plus years...time to move...you have been warned..

From the moment I bought the domain, there has been a problem with literally every step of the process. The website itself is incredibly slow (I have a fast broadband connection). I thoroughly wish I could transfer my domain to another company. I am genuinely really sorry to leave a negative review but I hope this helps to ensure that other people do not have the same experience.

This place needs an honest review, so here it is. I first came across EcoWebHosting(EWH) via Robs (the owner) course on Udemy, after learning more about web hosting and comparing other hosting companies I found myself coming back to EWH's shared advanced plan. The control panel isn't the prettiest, but the functionality more than makes up for it and everything is so easy to find. The control panel comes with a range of awesome features, such as the newly added free Let's Encrypt SSL certificates, which in this day and age, is a must have for any site! One-click install of all the best and most popular applications and CMS's, including (obviously) WordPress. The support team are really friendly and very helpful, they know their product well and never seem like they can't be bothered like other hosts. There isn't any surprise premium fees, what you see is what you get, all prices are listed before you buy anything and they won't throw a curveball by charging extra for one feature you thought you could get for free. Purchasing domains for EWH isn't the cheapest around, but it's no problem to change the nameservers to point to EWH and it is well documented on how to do the more technical side of things. Overall, EWH is a quality shared hosting provider, after trying all the major players in the hosting world such as 1and1, Sitegroud, GoDaddy and others, I still stick with EWH. Please note, this is a review of the shared hosting packages and not the dedicated server or cloud hosting services they provide.

Never had any major problems and any glitches are sorted really quickly, amazing support from the ECO crew. Cheers guys!
