I've used a lot of hosting services over the years from the average to the really bad. I've seen hosting companies start off well and slowly go down the toilet as they've got bigger or been bought by larger companies. In the short time I've been with Nimbus Hosting I've been incredibly impressed by the hosting environment itself and the support I've received. It just isn't comparable with other hosting companies I've used.
The hosting dashboard is incredibly user friendly and well thought out. It feels like it's been designed by web developers who have simplified processes that can be unnecessarily complex on other hosting platforms.
The few times I've had to use support, tickets have been answered quickly and efficiently. Nobody can ask more than that.

They promised me a discount due the fact i'm a small business and i told them corvid have affected us. That was well over 3 weeks ago. They told me they would send over an amended package. No email no amended package. I since then spoke to about 2 people regarding this and no responses. Mark did eventually come back to me with the amended package that discussed previously. Not sure why i had to wait this long, he couldn't say why

Nimbus is top quality in fact way beyond quality host, just put my forum site and a few other sites onto STORM Argon and wow is this fast, blink and you will miss your page refresh, it has an excellent server panel, so much better layout than the old plesk server I was on and I thought that was good.
Free migration by a tech that understands your needs. If you are thinking twice about going onto storrn do not even bother, just do it, it really is as good as the reviews.

They have a good attention to default security configuration for their client & admin portals with 2FA support as well as for their hosted services including DNS management, all factors that attracted me away from other UK hosting providers I had been using.

Excellent, knowledgeable and overall great service from the Nimbus team. We purchased 2 x Helium servers spaces from their Storm Cloud service. Our previous server was causing issues with downtime, slow performance and time-outs and since we have migrated over to Storm we have experienced zero issues. The Storm interface is simple and so easy to navigate and the support team are extremely knowledgeable, helping to answer any technical questions we've thrown at them! Thoroughly recommend!

Issues with our new site were resolved within seconds and they always have someone on the end of the phone if you get stuck!

I've dealt with many hosting companies, either directly for my own service, or via my clients, and Nimbus are in a different league.
From the initial setup of a new server, to support, they have made me feel like a valued customer (yes, I know, cliche, but it was the best description I could think of). It's a very personal service.
The migration of websites they initially did for me were effortless, and on the few occasions I've asked for support, or just a question, they have been quick to respond and it's never taken more than one attempt to get done/fixed what I needed.

I’ve been with these guys for many years - I’m a one-man band company and more often than not my cash flow is compromised by my customer’s late payments.
This means that my monthly payments to Nimbus are sometimes late but the Nimbus people have only ever been understanding and patient.
And because of this, I won’t be looking to host my website anywhere else.
After all, why fix something if it ain’t broke?

We are a tiny charity who have been with Nimbus for years. Up until this week we have naively been happy with the service. This changed when we realised we have been overpaying since March 2018. Without going into detail (it’s complicated) please ensure that you ask Nimbus clearly to look into your account and confirm all fees are 100% necessary.
We cancelled some of our services to save money in March 2018 but were not informed that others on our account were also unnecessary. Given the subject matter of our conversations, this was unbelievable.
With no IT department we have to rely on the good will of the companies we deal with. Nimbus have confirmed they will change their practices going forward but did not offer a penny of compensation to the charity. We did not expect this from an organisation who, until now, gave the impression that good customer service was a core objective.

We've tried many hosting companies over the years, but Nimbus are by far the best.
From our initial conversations with Tom, through to setting up our STORM package, the process has been seamless.
Using STORM has been a breath of fresh air - it's incredibly easy-to-use but provides all of the features we need. The sites we have transferred so far are now performing considerably better than on our previous host.
On the couple of occasions when we have needed to raise support tickets the responses have been very prompt and their staff are clearly very knowledgeable.
