Watch out for random charges! I'd been a customer for over a decade when they took money from me for another customer. They refused to refund or help because of 'GDPR/DPA'. ... But it's MY money? The support and OCEO are very unhelpful. I claimed back via Paypal as 'goods not received' and won't use them again.

Used 123 for many many years, their services are always great and the control panel is easy to use. I have used the customer support 3 or 4 times and every time they have been responsive, pleasent and thorough often going well beyond the realms they cover.. Absolutly recommend them.

Why do people only give feedback when they are complaining. I have been with 123-reg for 27 years! I have found them very helpful. I can easily access my dashboard and go through all the elements I require. If I forget anything they are always on hand to help me. I have queried charges but which as you can imagine have gone up since I started but still a very good and comparable price. I can even pay for extra traffic to my website too.

Terrible service. I contacted them 2 months before my service was due to renew in order to cancel. 10 ignored emails and 2 phone calls later, they have taken money from my account. I am disgusted at how quickly they took my money initially and how impossible they make it to cancel a service. This will be disputed!!

Didn't want to do this, but I've been using them for years now. I highly regret it. They have a reputation of automatically adding their extra 'add-ons' to the cart right before you pay. You have to be wary and remove them because they add them automatically. Of course I got screwed out of around £100 for this reason of not seeing these sneaky add-ons. Their platform is running on a VERY old system, not been upgraded for a long time and it also runs REALLY slow, sometimes you cannot even remove things from your cart. My emails have failed and bounced on their email system quite often. It's highly weak and un-secure. There was once a time where the email system went down for a whole day and all of our business emails were lost and never recovered. Their hosting package is one of the proven slowest for hosting websites. Terrible. Please save yourself some hassle and go with someone else. These are NOT good.

I've been a 123-reg.co.uk customer for getting on for 20 years and I have a couple dozen domains with them. However for the last six months I've been unable to log into my account and there is absolutely nothing I can do about it! The customer support number just puts me through to someone who fobs me off and the "send me password reset" form on the webpage doesn't do anything. I'm going to have to cancel my PayPal account just to stop this company from taking payments from me for services I do no longer want.

After being a customer for 10 years I expected a lot better! In short, some domains auto renewed which I no longer needed. Within 4 days I requested a refund and for these to be cancelled. This is well within their stated 5 days! I am now getting the runaround from an off shore support centre...I think the term customer support centre should be re-imagined for these guys! I really did expect a lot better from this company! Be warned!

Would not even give 123Reg the pleasure of a 1 star review. Customer service is appalling. Had an ongoing argument with them for over a year now, their web hosting service is awful, low loading speeds. Told them that I will not be renewing my custom with them and for the customer service assistant to make the necessary alterations on my account to not take any more money from me. The person I spoke to assured me that no money will be taken and because I had a few domain names with them, they auto renewed (After being told they had turned auto renewal off). Got a hefty invoice and when I rang they couldn't be any less helpful if they tried. Took me 6 weeks to get a full refund. Awful service - would advise to avoid at all costs as there is very better hosting providers out there.

On the 13th of May one of their team accidentally charge me 3 times for a single purchase. 43 days later, I am still trying to get my money back. I just don't understand how a business can be so incredibly inept with regard (disregard) to customer service. Avoid.

Set up an account. Email was an issue with issues getting into email address. When calling or using chat, the service was super poor. I could not think of using them at risk to service with my company. Avoid. When i cancelled, no word about refund/sorry...NOTHING.

Shocking to find 123 Reg had added a whole list of .uk domains to my account and billed me for it without notifying me. I received a total bill of £330 for domains I already own, what company does that and surely it is illegal! I was always a happy customer with 123 Reg but now I will be looking elsewhere to take my business

After being with 123-Reg limited for over 5 years plus, and numerous domain names for our businesses (some which are still active) - spoke to lady called Andra from support, said they would not offer any refund for an old account which was still set to auto renew ???? (did not know this - really they should be set to manual renewal surely!?) I appreciate businesses have to have their little ways of making money, but I’m still a long time customer - feeling DEFLATED

Dreadful service, you cancel domains they still charge you. Cannot understand what they say, as I feel they their call center is another country. You wait on the phone for 15mins and then half way through the conversation the line gets disconnected, so you have to start all over again. I have been with them for so many years but they don't care. Will never ever buy with them again.

I used 123reg for my first domain and got a second name for free. Their technical support was the worst support I've ever encountered from any company ever! Another issue, they autorenewed my domain even after carefully following all the instructions to ensure that it wouldn't (set autorenew to off - which is the least commitment you can give them). There is no way to stop them charging you for things you didn't ask for. My free domain is now up for renewal. Autorenew is off and the renewal items appeared in my basket in spite of this setting. This week I'll know if I have to once again contact them to refund me my money, yet again. I am desperately waiting for the day when I no longer have to ever deal with them again. AVOID 123REG at all costs! I am now with Siteground and the difference is extreme, it's like going from hell to heaven. Siteground rules! 123reg belong in bankruptcy history.
