Awful service! Snaillike server response, when I complained about this, I was told to buy their add on service which is an additional £120 a year. Moved everything to Siteground (a proper hosting company) and then was told by Fasthosts that I couldn't cancel the services I had with them. AVOID, AVOID and AVOID SOME MORE!

Refreshing to deal with an Internet company who successfully manage the basics that so many other large businesses fail to achieve... such as answering the phone promptly, being able to speak to a real person in the UK who has your account information readily to hand. I just have to do my bit to put right some of these poor reviews. Fasthosts is in my list of the top three companies I deal with regularly. I've been a customer for over 15 years and received nothing other than impeccable service for my dedicated server. Some calls for support are handled 'abroad' and that can initially seem not good, but is never actually a problem. The online 'chat' facility is best for resolving this. Top company!

I spent many many hours building a website for my company. I then found out that I can't get a security certificate on it because it's an old version. I was told I will have to build another website if I want a security certificate. I'm not happy about that.

I have been with FastHosts for more than 10 years, having two dedicated servers from them. Frankly saying, I've tried a lot of worldwide top hosting providers but none of them can compare to FastHosts' prices or specs. They have a super easy control panel and superb customer support. My own account manager, Samuel Ikinya, is willing to help at all times. I’m sure you will have a wonderful account manager like mine with FastHosts. Several years ago I encountered an issue with my hard drive and I lost all of my files. Unfortunately, I didn't keep a recent backup. FastHosts helped me recover all the data and saved my business. FastHosts are always improving their services. I believe that you should not completely rely on what others say, but to try it yourself. You will not regret it with FastHosts.

so far four stars, unlimited web hosting for £18 a month? bargain! Support is good, although has side lined to their forum on occasion so depends who you get, Easy to use control panel, won't bend on price for their Dedi servers, which lost them business, (although i got on the wrong end of that as one and one suck.) overall - much better service than blue host, miles better than one and one. keep it up!

Finally had it with this company. They send a renewal reminder **60** days before a domain is due to expire and then bam! 30 days before expiry they renew the domain without further notice. They've caught me 10 or more times over the past 10 years and I should know better by now. Sharp business practice wrapped up in a "we do it for your benefit so that you don't lose the domain". Fair comment but on that basis, why not also email 24 or 48 hours before intended billing rather than 60 days. Give folks a chance to cancel closer to the intended billing date. Nasty. Prompting me to move all my domains to Cloudflare. Should have dumped them years ago.

I have had over 17 years, many domains with Fasthosts and they have almost always provided an excellent service. If you have a lot of domains get the reseller account. The control panel is a cinch to use, and the support is excellent. Fast support response, and you can call them on Skype almost free if overseas. They also have Chat support for resellers. Don't get a dedicated server unless you are technically brilliant, as their support for those is limited. But the shared hosting platform is excellent unless you have a website that needs to put scripts into the root of the server.

Terrible "support". Their servers continuously have errors!, random out of disck space, "sent" emails going out of your outbox but their servers just deletes them rather than actually send them.. DID you KNOW THAT?....NO but you'll never notice as a user unless you check your own website every hour!. They you will have some of the most retarded conversations with support that it's humanly possible to have. Such as today's one "There is no log of your domian being taken out of the email blacklist, only a log of it being put in the email white list". Well if it's put in the white list, what effing coloured list do you think it just came out of !!! doh

If only I could give them NO stars. I'm looking for a new hosting company. Things have changed at Fasthosts. I feel like I'm just a number now. Purely an income for them and no longer an income from a appreciated customer. They will bend over backwards to get you to sign up for another years Resellers account but when they have you and your money, the interest ends. Most of the staff are pretentious, un-interested and will not bend over backwards to help you. They are NOT 24/7 even though they advertise this. You try ringing at 12.22am and see if you get an answer!!! hey've all sorts of software issues and I have when implementing a new web package. Absolute nightmare. I've lost count of the money I have lost because of it and the unpaid hours spend sorting things out.

Can’t they just be honest, and say they are having problems with servers. Their web page always says "Where having no problems" All great. Numerous times I have logged calls, only to be told by support, that there are no current issue. Why. Can anyone recommend a web hosting company?

If i could i would give them 0 stars... Worst host that i have ever worked on... the hosting is cheap but dont be fooled, they will charge you 30 pounds for each of your databases, the control panel is terrible, web FTP has really low file size limit and 120 seconds timeout, if you upload "large file" using FTP client (i tried with 128MB file) you cant use the web file manager to unzip or move or do anything with the zip except deleting it...

Well, I bought all my VPS servers in Poland (cheaper and managed), so can't really moan about hosting, however I keep about 120 registered domains with Fasthosts and I must say that they are cheap, admin panel is clear and functional. Basically I get what I paid for, very satisfied.

As a professional web developer I have worked with several hosting companies, deploying hundreds of websites, around the world. Without doubt F***host is the WORST hosting company I have ever dealt with. Their incompetence is compounded with slow responses where repeatedly "support" (and I use that term liberally) had not read the ticket explaining the issue, they have no technical (or support) skills, weeks later none of the issues have been resolved. Escalating the tickets to a "manager" resulted in an email several days later saying it wasn't his problem. In summary avoid at all costs.

I wish i had checked their reviews 10yrs ago, yes thats right i have been with them for 10yrs. Anyway after upgrading my dedicated server, with a massive amount of problems and no help from Fasthosts, i decided to leave and find another provider. The chap then offered me a 50% discount to stay which i accepted until i just received my latest bill. I queried it and surprise surprise they deny all knowledge and said it was for my old server. Why would i want a monthly discount for a server that i was no longer using or being billed for. All i can say chaps, is find another provider, I am shopping around as we speak. So much for 10yrs of loyalty.

received a series of bills for a service i never used or requested. then phoned to cancel and they dont have record of call and are still chasing for an amount for a service which has never and will never be used. Asked if they could use some common sense and look at the account to see its never been used but they refuse. Am in contact with them but getting nowhere - will update accordingly but my advice is to avoid avoid avoid awful customer service neil

Our dedicated server with the 99.99% uptime died on the first day. It has continued to do so ever since. Its beyond a joke, they refuse to now let us cancel the contract despite never delivering on there promise. The server is a pill of rubbish, a total waste of money with a company that care not about customers! AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUEEEEEE
