I do enjoy this group of restaurants ( another is in Piccadilly) .
The service is friendly and professional, the decor is bright, light and comfortable, there is pretty much something for everyone on the menu, the pricing isn't too bad considering the quality of the food and the locations.
There is literally something for everyone, it is the sharing concept but done pretty well, such that if you don;t want to share there is no need to as the portion sizes are decent. We had 6 dishes for 3 of us which was pretty spot on.

The restaurant has the concept of sharing small portions amongst the guests and this is bizzare.
Italian food in particular pasta is not made to be share and the whole concept makes it a bit complicated.
That being said the quality is very good and authentic.
Service is average
By the way the tomato and lemon on the table is also a bit weird

My wife and I went in without a reservation on a Saturday at 3pm, and were offered a table until 5pm. Our waiter was great, friendly and not pushy, ensuring we took our time.
The menu consists of small Italian dishes, mostly around £8-£12 each. They recommend 5 dishes between 2 people, which was fine for us, though if you are a big eater, you will want more.
There is no starter /main concept, which means everything is very quick, and suits lunch more than evening. If you prefer a leisurely meal with different courses, it's probably not for you.
In general, we felt it was slightly overpriced given the size and quality of the food. £11 bought 2 scallops and £9 bought 3 meatballs, though the pizzas were better value. We ordered a seafood spaghetti dish that was little more than the sum of its parts, with dry overcooked mussels.
Wine started from around £26 a bottle, with some interesting choices.
Overall, it's slightly better quality and service than most chain Italians, but we didn't think it was worth the premium price and probably wouldn't return.

The quality of the food was not particularly good. The veal in the veal tonnato was thick, when it should be wafer thin and the sauce did not have enough tuna. The croquettes were cold. Unfortunately, the food is not really authentically Italian, while the restaurant is noisy and crowded.

I cannot stress how amazing this place is! For a busy evening you need to book in advance. The food is all high quality, tasty and just excellent. The menu is such that everything is made to be shared. I went with a friend and we devoured 7 courses easily! The Prosciutto San Daniele & Gnocco Fritto is a must to try, deep fried bread should be on menus everywhere!

It's different! It's like an Italian tapas place. Once I'd got my head round the menu, I loved it. Staff are attentive and will advise you if you ask. I recommend.

Been here several times food was good as normal but service was terrible seemed like everything was rushed we planned a birthday there I asked if they could provide a slice of cake for my wifes birthday with a candle the brought to the table 1 minute profita roll this is the reason I give it a 3 star rating not on the food but on the service and they also questioned the reason why we didn't want to pay the addinional 10% service charge (WHAT IS OPTIONAL) and walked away in a huff when we told him the reason why

Little gem of a place. Tapas style Italian food really works and is of extremely high quality. A restaurant we just keep going back to as its so nice with a great atmosphere.

Should have read the reviews veggie entering. Tourist trap of note. No mention that the menu is tapas until you sit down. So, prices are actually very high if you thought they were reasonable when you viewed the menu outside. Portions are small, like starters although they mention you're getting tapas once you order. Saying all that, if it's a company credit card then the restaurant is 5 stars for service and quality of food.

Food was OK, nothing special. However, the ”service” was very focused on selling more drinks and dishes rather than attending to the guests needs (had to wait for 30 minutes when wanting to pay).
What turned this into a very negative experience was their house ”champagne”:
- at 14 gbp / glass, you would expect something half decent
- we got 2 glasses handed to us, not poured from a bottle or anything. One of the glasses had NO bubbles in it, both glasses taster bad.
- when we complainee, the glass without bubbles got replaced. Still not poured from a bottle though. They came and quickly showed us a bottle.
- the new glass tasted decent, but COMPLETELY different from thr first one
=> in short, stay away from this place - they will try to sell you cheap prosecco priced at champagne prices without flinching!
Obviously, will never again order house champagne anywhere.

We went for lunch on Saturday. The food was good but we had a couple of issues. I had pea and scallop risotto which was nice bit it came with a massive prawn on top & 1 tiny scallop. No mention on the menu of 1 scallop, it says scallops & doesn't mention a prawn in a shell..My son ordered chicken but it didn't come out. After we had finished eating they came over to say your chicken will be 5 mins, 20 mins later still no chicken. We cancelled it in the end as it was getting ridiculous! They explain menu as tapas but the prices are of a normal menu & when we received the food, the sizes are of normal size...

We went on a Saturday evening... very crowded place, no space between tables (they even dropped wine on a lady in another table), waiting time for food is absurd... more than 40min waiting for a croquette, warm beer... the food is good, but the overall experience is terrible.

Oh dear. Promises much but delivers little. Has all the pomp and charm of an Italian but the food is 2 out of five. Quite shocked at the complete lack of flavour, especially the pasta. Steak dishes were terrible, really badly cooked and a feeling the chef was catering for the masses rather than making food for the elite . Covering food in parmesan to hide the lack of taste tells me everything i need to know. Needs huge improvement but will continue to bring in the crowds purely because of location

Awful service. Got lectured about their Italian tapas concept. £15 for 2 ravioli in a bowl. Waiter not interested in the table after he took our initial order. Fatty steak served rare. My niece found a hair in her pizza. Fiancée received the wrong order. It’s a shame as once you get the small amount of food they offer it is actually quite nice.

Booked a table for 6:00pm just before the theatre. Was disappointed with both service and quality of food. Tapas as an Italian really doesn’t work, good quality was nothing special, and plates come out if and when ready which leaves delays between plates. Arrived Luke warm as well and then the last plate was completely forgotten!! Still hungry when we left even though we had just paid £90 for a meal, I did get refunded for the last plate that arrived late!!

There is plenty of choice here. Italian generally means lots of pasta and pizza but here there was additional choice. I had the beef carpaccio starter and a sea bass main but the place is set up for sharing though plates are still generous for tapas. Good food and good value with good service.

Food is absolutely amazing. But they serve the tapas that is ready and all our meat tapas came first and we had to wait a long time for the vegetables. But the restaurant were really great and didn't charge us for the vegetables.

Travelled up to London for a Saturday evening show and had lunch at Cicchetti, we had booked a room in a hotel round the corner and just walked by and we both commented on how good the place looked and thought lets try here...
Well, it was well worth it.
It's a cosy little restaurant but not too cramped.
Waiters service was excellent and his suggestions where spot on.
As we had a evening meal booked already we just needed a light lunch with a nice glass of wine. (We had 2x starter off the daily specials & 2x starters off the main menu + Wine, ALL where delicious)
Would recommend this place to any & everyone...

What can I say I booked the restaurant some weeks prior to our attending an early supper. On arrival it took three front of house staff to finally sit us to a table that was not even made. Service was all over the place. Main dish arrived with a starter for one of my guests. Two of us ordered the royal sea food bake at £ 60 what can I say except a greedy overpriced restaurant. Such a shame as friends have recommended this restaurant as amazing. We beg to differ. Management kitchen and Waiting staff need to show some passion and love for what could be an amazing restaurant.

Stumbled across this place after going to the theatre, the food was fantastic and the service was attentive. Cocktails were nice but they don't do pints and serve beer in a little wine glass. Also I found it was a little bit on the expensive side.
