Absolutely delicious food. Enjoyed the sharing sizes. Lovely atmosphere. However, the service could definitely be improved- not very friendly and brought the wrong dish to us several times.

This place has sparked a new found love for Italian food. Delicious, fresh and flavorful food. Had a bad experience with an Italian year's ago but this place was special. Prices are good as well considering where it is. 5*

Top notch food and service. We had erroneously booked the wrong branch but they fitted us in without question. The menu suggests four or five dishes for two people, which was more than enough. The pasta was especially good, as was the mellanzana parmigiana.

The food was great.
Beef Carpaccio / Tuna all good. Spaghetti Cacio e Pepe was good too. small portion though. Carbonara would be great I guess.
Not so happy with the service. The two ladies were smiling in fromt of me but were making rather unpleasant faces to each other on my back. I wish I knew why.. I felt as if I was being frowned upon or not welcome to the restaurant for no reason. On the way out, the staff opened the door for me but was looking at somewhere else saying bye...I felt her attitude was half-hearted
Despite the quality of food, location, cleanliness etc, the staffs' attitude was...unprofessional.

Beautiful venue, serving some delicious Italian dishes. I'd skip lunch if you're having dinner here, as the portions; though you're recommended to order 2/3 per person; are pretty generous!

Just popped in for a bite to eat on the way to the theatre, not due to reviews it just looked intriguing from outside. Our experience was amazing, would definitely recommend. The waiter who looked after us was fabulous, helpful & attentive, explaining how the concept worked and guiding us through. It's a little like mezze or tapas but an Italian version. We ordered 5 dishes which are small to medium sized, they arrive when ready and are placed in the centre of the table to share. The food was sublime, so so good & of course we had to have a pudding, again a sharer which was gorgeous. Cannot wait to return.

We often go to eat in restaurants with Italian cuisine but this time it was an unforgettable experience. We had as starter tuna tartar and buffalo mozzarella, ad main tuna stake and scallops “so good” and he suggested a great wine with what we were eating. Thanks to the service and attention that Alessandro Ledda gave us. We’ll back and want be served by him.

I was very impressed with this restaurant. The food was very well balanced and a nice offering of wines was available. The ambience of the seating area is also good with waiters very responsive. I will come back, I know they have a few different restaurants around London also

I normally visit Alto once a week but went here first time, for a Xmas dinner. The food was so delicious, much better than Alto (which is a favourite!), The menu was the same as Alto, just cooked WAY better. Now this is my new favourite from the San Carlo group !!! I highly recommend the Beef Medallions, Gamberoni, Calamari, Panna Cotta and Espresso !

Only reason I'm going three stars instead of one is that the food wasn't bad. But the service was absolutely terrible.
Had a reservation for 7:30, but ended up only being seated an hour later. Asked the hostess like four times about our table, every time got the same "Yes, almost ready 5 more minutes" reply.
Once seated, had to ask the waiter three times for water. Food was good, but it's insane that you're paying 10£ for essentially five mouthfuls of pasta. Italian tapas is just another way of saying paying for a full dish and only get half.

Great food, very friendly and attentive staff.
Had dinner here with my family, including 2 children of 5 and 7 years, and we really enjoyed the experience.
The food came quite quickly even though the restaurant was very busy.
Would definitely recommend.

Awful Italian lunch experience. Worst Italian restaurant I ever tried: poor and rude service, tasteless food, gnocco fritto doesn't even look like one, the spaghetti carbonara were soggy and funny tasting so we had to send them back

The food was surprising poor and expensive as we were served badly cooked fish that was clearly frozen and not fresh , the fish was dry and badly over cooked .The manager was arrogant when we complained we spent £120 on starters and a bottle of wine and then were told to select a non fish dish as the chief was unable to cook .... we chose to leave and go to another restaurant and that staff were unbelievably aggressive and told us never to come back …. that is easy we will not .

The vibe of the restaurant is very good and so is the food! But the service needs to be made really better. The staff is really confused serving wrong dishes on wrong table and takes really long to get the food. The service definitely needs to improve.

This was a hidden little oasis that has a charming interior. Very attentive staff and good menu. Skip the desserts, as it doesn't seem to be their strength. However very nice pasta and fish entrees.

We had a lovely experience here for our 3 year anniversary dinner before a show.
The food & cocktails were superb, and the service was excellent.
You're a bit spoilt for choice when it comes to the menu, so what we did was pick a few items that looked appealing, then asked the staff for a few more recommendations to fill in the gaps based on our existing choices. This worked very well.
We ordered five plates between the two of us, plus a dessert each, and that was about right. Felt nicely satiated.
The thing that sold the evening for us was the service. We felt extremely well looked after by the friendly & professional staff. I happened to notify them when booking that it was a special occasion, and upon arrival we were given complimentary drinks. Later on, the dessert plate had piped in chocolate 'Happy Anniversary' on the side for my fiancée. A really nice touch that made her smile.
Ok, it was a bit more expensive than our usual dining, but well worth the extra in our opinion.
Set the stage for a wonderful and memorable evening. We will return next time we're in the area.

Definitely my top 3 Italian restaurants in London. Gnocchi gorgonzola in parmesan basket is very very good, I've been having the same dish for the past 5-6 years and nothing has changed ! The service is very attentive unlike the other Italian institutions in London - arrivederci Cecconis :-(

It's OK but not does not warrant the prices charged. The tomatoes were chilled, the gnocchi a bit stodgy, the wine over priced. And I really hate that they add a discretionary 12.5% service charge to the bill that you have to ask to be removed.
