My Astra has been having difficulties starting intermediate for 2 months, after I had been to other garages and they had done the minimal I was recommended to Maderia Garage and although it was out of my way they were worth it. Neil has explained everything he had done and kept in touch whilst my car was with them. They worked on it for many hours trying to work out the problem and checked as much as possible. I am really pleased with the service they provided and they didn’t charge me silly money like other garages. Will definitely be going back to them when needed.

I called to ask about booking an MOT. I was told it would be £40. I thought that was a good price and they had a slot that worked for me, but when I came to pick up car, I was charged £97. Work was done without asking me, and that's just not okay

Never used these guys before but would highly recommend, carried out a full service and Mot. Car needed some work, quoted a reasonable price and really efficient. Contacted me to collect car and were very friendly and honest. Was offered the opportunity to see the old car parts!

Big fan of Madeira garage. Been going there for years with both my vehicles and have always received a very honest service. As a female you tend to worry that a garage might fob you off and charge you unfairly but Neil and the team don't do that. They're also very accommodating when I've got emergency repairs.

My camper needed some welding to pass the MOT. I've never used these guys but would highly recommend them. Took my van in and had it back on the same day which I didn't expect due to the work needed. Not only that - they took it to my MOT centre and got the pass certificate. The final thing which made me think yes, they're alright was that they showed me the old parts which had to be replaced, always a good sign. Very friendly guys. They do exactly what they say they'll do.

Fantastic job done by the guys here!! I had two cars requiring work, first with my bumper coming off and shearing all the wires to fog lamps and lights fixed within the hour with MOT booked in on the same day couldn’t of asked for more.
Second Car a old KA needing welding over 70% of the car, got the job done quickly and smartly for a price that beat all other garages that I approached.
Staff could not be any more informative or kind, really great service and would recommend to all to use these guys.

Absolutely fantastic garage. After failing it's mot due to excessive corrosion, my (old but reliable) KA was quoted roughly £600, by several mechanics, to fix. Took the car to Madeira garage and was told straight up that it would be roughly £150. Turns out the corrosion wasn't as bad as first expected and knocked off £30. Extremely trustworthy garage and couldn't recommend the excellent mechanics more.

Did not cure problem, paid for diagnosis and new battery to be told this caused issue.
Did not solve, actually made worse, from 3 to 4 issues on home diagnostic machine. Would not refund for the incomplete work. Told we would have to wait by an extremely rude member of staff. Will be seeking legal advice.
Does not take 1.5 hours to change a battery, and does not even have the correct diagnostic tool for Smart.
Update in November: we are now having abusive visits from Neil the owner and his family at our home address. This is a dispicable way to do business!!! Harassment has been reported to the police.

So after spending over £160 the car is not fixed! Came out with same problems went in with but with a new part that was not needed. Was told by the garage owner they were unable to find the fault and repair the car and we should take it to another garage. Very rude member of staff said tough, not his problem that he couldn't fix it. I therefore requested a half refund as they were unable to carry out the work and cure the fault. This was met with a very aggressive response from the owner, shouting at me and not allowing me to talk. I was extemely distressed and upset by this behaviour. I would definitely NOT recommend this garage. Car is now going elsewhere for their opinion.
