Lovely fresh and light crispy batter which they wrap separately to the chips and don't season so it gets home as served in the shop. Love it!
Decent portions and friendly guys too. I always go here now as the quality is so good.
Large Cod with large cips is good enough for 2 people and is £8.60 with curry sauce. Pretty fair deal I would say. Recommend giving them a try.

Tried this place for the first time tonight....
So glad we did!
Really delicious. We had large haddock and chips, and both were cooked fresh to order. Lovely light and crispy batter on the fish, and a mountain of fantastic chips which were big and tasty, great flavour, and not soggy or greasy.

Just had my fourth meal from Seagull. Absolutely delicious. The chips are perhaps the best I've ever had. Amazing home-made fishcakes. So much better than Wolfies who are more than happy to sell you manky three hour old chips.

Very friendly staff. Freshly chopped and fried chips, delicious! Excellent scampi, mushy peas and gravy were also very good. Very pleased to have a great fish and chip shop so close by.

Saw this place had newly opened so went along for a takeaway on a Sunday evening. Really friendly guy behind the counter and great food. We had fish cakes, scampi, chips, gravy and mushy peas. All really good.
