I have been a customer with Essentials Pharmacy since Esan , the new owner, took over the business over 3 years ago. Esan has a wealth of knowledge & experience as a Pharmacist, and is always ready to share this with customers, should they seek his advice. He has impeccable manners, and treats his customers with respect , congeniality, yet remains professional throughout. In comparable to Boots The Chemist, I don’t experience the same one to one treatment. Hence, my preference for a small Chemist where you are treated with respect, and given the best treatment. There is just one important aspect that I would like to draw to all customers who go to Essentials for their NHS Prescriptions. If the Chemist does not give a particular item the patient has requested in their “ repeat”, it has nothing whatsoever to do with the Chemist. The GP has, for whatever reason withheld this item of medication, therefore it is not the Chemist to blame or be criticised for. I have raised this particular issue with Covent Garden Medical Centre, and suggested that out of sheer courtesy the GP explains the reason behind a medication being withheld. Bear in mind, the Chemist can only dispense medication that the GP has authorised/approved. There is no room for flexibility on the part of the Chemist. I hope the Surgery will change their ways for the sake of Dr/Patient relationship, otherwise the patient is inclined to blame the Chemist. The serious flaw is with the Surgery for correction. PLEASE BEAR THIS IN MIND. Where the medication is on order, the Chemist will explain this to be the case.

As a longstanding customer of this Pharmacy. During this COVID 19 pandemic. I have come to truly appreciate the value and importance of having a community competent pharmacist. With many G.P's only offering telephone consultations. Sadly i have many complex co morbidities that require some controlled medication that require careful protocols and monitoring. This pharmacy has truly been a life saver for me. We all need the human contact with an understanding compassionate Pharmacist. This Pharmacy is sadly like so many others, a very rare vital community public service that is fast disappearing . When you have complex health issues and take many medications it great to be able to have a face to face private consultation with your family pharmacist about any side effects that you may be experiencing. It's a life saver. You don't get that with the medications by post pharmacies !

ABSOLUTELY amazing customer service I could ever ask for! They actually offer some of the very fantastic brands both for hair and skin care which you can not find everywhere. The lady who does the facial treatment is one of the nicest person I've ever met. Besides, I've also had my regular prescriptions dispensed there, which I was really satisfied. they are always nice, smiling, helpful and quick. strongly recommended.

Very good online shop and has a regular improvements made to it. If you contact their customer service through their phone or email, they are really good and help you with advice, which in my case, is normally ordering a big quantity of different scents of a single product. Postage was always quick and safe. They normally use Royal Mail. always ask for a signature to confirm the receipt as well. Competitor prices, very happy and will continue shopping from their website.

Absolutely great customer service experience. I normally order skin care products online and pick them up from the store as I work close by. I used their postage service once and was very quick as well but prefer to collect them.They are very professional and most of the girls who works there knows all about Skin problems. I always ask them what is the best for my skin type to be able to order it next. Online prices is normally cheaper that the shop.

Absolutely awful customer service experience! I've been using Essential Pharmacy since Jan 2015 to order beauty products and toiletries which I then pick up in store. Went to the Convent Garden store today 15 August 2019 around 5:30pm, and was treated badly by the staff, appalling rude and arrogant customer service, the guy looked me in the eye and blatantly lied about their policy being changed, claimed I needed to produce the email for the order, even though on all previous occasions my name and address was sufficient to retrieve my order. The rude female then proceeded to tell me where to stand in the chemist to get reception on my phone insisting I find the email to collect my items. The guy then had the cheek to tell me that next time I should have my email ready. There will not be a next time as this is the last purchase I will ever make with Essential Pharmacy. I will not pay a company that has rude arrogant staff, that make up the rules as they please. I would not recommend their products or beauty treatments to anybody else. Buying is not just about price, its also about the customer experience and Essential Pharmacy’s Convent Garden store failed that test and won’t get another chance with me!

I have been shopping from Essentials for a while now and I’ve been getting laser hair removal for months now and I can definitely say that this is the best thing to invest money in when it comes to hair removal! The staff are very friendly! And they are very much knowledgeable when it comes to products. I am more than happy with my results! Highly recommend.

Moved to this area over 2 Years ago and I've been using Essentials Pharmacy since then. They stock great brands which you can't find on chain Pharmacies. The Pharmacist, Esan, is very knowledgeable about sever skin conditions. After two decades of having outbreaks of psoriasis he helped me to significantly improve the symptoms and the appearance of skin patches. He is now monitoring them every 2-3 months and every time is a new improvement, he's been a great help. Thanks a lot. If you are suffering from any skin condition, I highly recommending him.

I discovered this place about 6 months ago when I was having a walk in Covent Garden and since then I only purchase from these people. Conveniently located, wide selection of products for every type of skin and for every skin condition and also all sorts of essentials that are neatly organized. Loved the design of the place, which is also spacious. Really fascinated by the fact that they offer both dermatological products for all types of skin concerns and also products which are 100% natural and organic. Great offers on products and the staff are so knowledgeable and welcoming and helpful. I also had a prescription to pick up and the pharmacist was so friendly and had a consultation with me describing everything I need to know about the medication and also gave me information about the follow-ups. I am very happy with the service and highly recommend this place.

This pharmacy is AMAZING!!! They have the best skincare range product available in London (Dermalogica, Elemis, Dr.Hauschka, Filorga, Esthederm, La Roche-Posay and many more) and the best customer service I have experienced so far. Anytime I needed some help, I received the best advise with courtesy and kindness from some very well prepared assistant. This pharmacy has also a medispa, where you can book treatments such as lip filler or botox. One of the best pharmacists you will find in the city of London. It was a cold day and I was looking for a moisturiser product for my skin. I went to this shop and asked for a advice. A staff came forward and she recommended me some products and also provided me some testers. I went with her advice and no doubt I was fine. I am still using that product again and again. I recommend this shop as it has well qualified professionals who know about their products.

I would give no stars but that is not an option. An awful company with awful customer service. Who in this day and age charges you 20% of the cost to return your items, onto of postage and a £6 fee. I would not recommend this company AT ALL. There are plenty of other online shops that offer a reasonable and affordable service - this is definitely not one of them.

I ordered Elemis shampoo and conditioner. It was much cheaper than elsewhere. Delivery was quick and I received a few freebies as well! Really pleased with the service and will definitely use again.

Never heard of Essentials London until I was looking for a specific soap. Ever since I rarely go to the regular chain pharmacies anymore. Service and delivery is always quick and perfect, I would definitely recommend. I already ordered several times and always did 'collect in store' since I work closeby anyway. Very friendly staff as well!

My letter to ombudsman should give you an idea: I’ve noticed quite early into using this pharmacy, which is the closest to me, that they didn’t have any notion Of customer service. I remember having to come 4 times (!) to collect vitamin b12 ampoules, which they didn’t have enough to complete my prescription. The plump dark looking man (south Asian, Mediterranean, Middle Eastern) kept asking to come on a certain day, when they would have the delivery, on 3rd time I told him, that it was the 3rd time he asked to come to collect it, and inquired if there were any other pharmacies in the vicinity, after which he gave me a look full of attitude, I simply asked to give me a call when they had my medication in full. After 1 week (!) of not hearing from them, I visited again, and the Woman in Arabic clothing said she left a message on my ansaphone, which was strange, because on iPhone you get a message about that, and all recent callers are listed in the folder, unless she called a different number and left her voice message there. Every subsequent visit was treated with attitude. On 6 September My Covent Garden medical centre sent 3 medications, all showing as issued, But the southern man refused to deliver the vitamin b12 ampoules (hydroxocobalamin) for some reason, even when I showed him the system’s printout, showing all 3 “issued”, so I’ve only been able to collect warfarin and ivabradine. He also refused to act on it and follow it up, throwing back at me the print out, which was rather strange and highly unprofessional. Further to my email of 9 September when I asked the pharmacy for their Complaints Procedure, but never received it, on Monday, 30 September, I had this prescription for b12 vitamin on paper, and my GP sent Amlodipine to ‬ electronically, but when I showed the prescription to the pharmacist, the plump looking south man said that he didn’t have it in stock with a look full of attitude, which was surprising, and when I asked about the Amlodipine he looked at his computer and said he hadn’t received it either, which was again surprising, because my GP had just sent it! And then the pharmacist lost his temper and said that I couldn’t use this pharmacy again because I had accused him of lying, which I couldn’t recall, all I had said: “if you don’t have it in stock, you could just say it”, after which he opened the drawer and dangled the medication in the air showing that he did have it, but still refused to give it to me. I still haven’t received any explanation from anyone as to what happened that time, and when I said that I still needed to receive the amlodipine, he suddenly found it on his computer although only a minute ago he couldn’t see it!), printed the prescription out, and gave it to me instead of the medication, showing by his body language that no further service will be offered there, only to get rid of me. I asked them to confirm in writing that I can’t use Essentials Pharmacy at ‪169 Drury Lane‬, which is the closest to me, and give their reasons as to why, but they sent a shifty and dishonest email about what happened, which convinced me that they WERE able of lying after all! Probably, it’s a good idea to switch my chemist’s after their awfully unpleasant service and attitude, but I can’t understand why would anyone should experience this. If you criticise them and ask for the complaints procedure they just inform you that you can’t use their service any more. After such an experience you keep thinking if you have been discriminated against, but on what grounds?! Or do they do it on a whim? They look like a family business, but they shouldn’t be claiming to offer NHS services, because they certainly don’t comply with NHS standards. The Boots shop that I’m now with are very professional in comparison: no attitude, they just smile and deliver, you don’t feel any like or dislike from them, nothing personal (!), you simply collect your medication with a sigh of relief.

Have recently started buying from their online shop. Their online team are lovely and they provide amazing customer service. I wish I lived in London and I could go and visit their pharmacy as well. Keep it up guys. Thanks :)

First of all, I would like to thank the extremely welcoming and friendly staff, who offer a very professional service. Secondly, I cannot describe my experience regarding of the Prescriptive Tailored Dermalogica Facial I had in the spa a week ago. After experiencing a really poor service elsewhere choosing Essentials Spa was the best decision I could’ve made. Extremely professional, along with such lovely staff and I am overjoyed with the results. I also bought some Dermalogica products and I received so many samples of other brands which I wanted to try. Couldn’t recommend enough :)

Horrendous company - they instantly take your money yet refuse to send the purchase. Unbelievable how they manage to stay in 'business' particularly given the pedantic argumentative phone assistant who has clearly never heard of the concept of customer service. Luckily I was protected by Paypal in this instance. Don't shop there. Zero stars.

Avoid , very unprofessional. The injector came late and didn't even identify himself and he looked grumpy which made me feel even more uncomfortable to even let him inject my face and also the groupon clearly stated for the option between premium fillers such as Juvederm and Restylane , however when I went there ,there was no consultation and he told me that there had been a MISTAKE on groupon and that I had to choose from revolax fillers and I immediately cancelled as he was fooling me and other people that had bought the voucher. Im confused how can a business make a big mistake on groupon , it's clear they want to lure customers in and charge them more for something they have already paid for. Moreover who puts numbing cream before even checking if the patient is medically fit to get fillers anyway or before the consultation ! I have been to the best places for fillers such as Harley street and they are very professional and ask the patients if they have any questions or concerns and how they want their lips done prior to the treatment which he didn't do so. This person was just trying to train himself and it was clear he had no prior knowledge on how to treat his patients and how to communicate ! Blatant Liar please avoid , probably using fake fillers anyway !

We purchased some items at a 30% discount. Few days later , money was refunded a deposit we were told that the items were not in stock and that the same deal will be honored once the items were in stock. That promise was not honored and we were told that we can now 'back order' those same items at 20% discount. Long story short, seller is dishonest and they sell stuff which they do to have in stock with no indication that stock is not in as you are ordering. We will not be dealing with this dishonest seller anymore.

I have been ordering skin care products from Essentials Pharmacy for more than a year. I have had only great service from them. This week I placed an urgent order and e-mailed them to see if I can get it before a certain date. Perfect customer Service, I think the whole shop is under new management. All staff changed, tried them a few times. Great experience recently. The new team are doing much better. I called them to check if they have my items in stock and the lady who took my order was very nice and patient. I believe her name was Farida, She dispatched the items at the same time and I receive them the next day. Amazing service, just wanted to thanks her. Highly recommending them.
