Online order of coving was only half fulfilled, the corner pieces I’d ordered never arrived. Have been asked to contact the store who have promised to help but have totally ignored me ever since and now won’t answer the phone. Very very poor experience and won’t be shopping there again.

Been a few times. Always a pleasant experience due to friendly helpful staff. Of course, there will be the odd occasion where a member of staff is not quite up to par but generally rather good with a huge variety of products.

The staff here are a bunch of to55Ers. Maybe 1 or 2 out of the whole staff are probably okay but the rest think they own the store. Arrogant and rude to say the least. WICKES - If your staff don't know how to deal with people they should not be working at your store/s, there's plenty people looking for a job who will happily take their place and deal with YOUR customers in a friendly manner. I do not use Wickes any longer because there's plenty places selling the same items and cheaper. Why should I be compelled to use your stores especially with the SH17 staff you employ.

Friendly helpful staff. Able to pick up most diy things at cheapers prices than local shops. Often useful bits and bobs in the sale section. Decent parking spaces. Tesco nearby.

Wow! Just used Click and Collect for Wickes Barking (Extra?). So bad! Hard to believe you can get something so wrong. You should be able to collect within the hour but nearly four hours and seven phone calls later I don't even know if they have the stuff in stock (after having more time wasted by another branch who took an hour to tell me they did not have the things they previously said they did). The store is closed now. Staff I did speak to either did not help or seemed like they would never actually help anyone. An end to end miserable experience and waste of many hours! Please, just go somewhere else even if it costs you a little more. Your time is too precious to go to Wickes.

If I could give no stars I would, the customer service is horrendous. We had to wait 90 mins for a forklift service. The workers Edward and Phillips were very unbothered, didn't help and kept lying. If you can, avoid this store!

I was followed round the car park by guys looking for work, Wickes should probably do something about this as its probably intimidating for some customers. In the store is basically fine, what was annoying is that you can't just pick anything off shelves as its all security tagged, so to buy a £4 trowel I had to wait 5 minutes for someone to come over. Seems a bit OTT to me. Its a bit of a hole.

Customer service is not as it used to be. I was waiting to be served , there was no one on the till. One girl saw me waiting but carried on sweeping the floor. She came to til after finishing sweeping. I guess sweeping is more important than a waiting customer.

Although officially it is not the fault of Wickes I avoid this branch (which is a shame) I am constantly hounded by contractors in the car park looking for work. I understand that times are hard right now but I cant deal with these people when im looking to make a quick purchase! Apart from that the store is generally well stocked up and I find most things i need.

For Management I will put 0. I checked before go there in website, did they have Einhell Wrench-impact and was information yes, they have in store available. And I saw the show- shelfe not and I ask the stuff and they sayed what is on the shelf, that we have. Why the information from website is different?? I waste a time to walking there to buy wrench, because I believed what is on website will be in the shop as well. Full ZERO for management!!!!!!! For stuff full 5 star, thanks them. But before go there how we can be sure....

Generally has most things I need. Being followed around the car park by 20 blokes asking for work can be a bit annoying, but I've used a couple of them and they did an excellent job so I'm not generally fussed. Not keen on security. Mostly Pakistani and always a bit weird. I saw one today follow two black blokes around before asking one to put on a mask. However, there were about 20 Pakistanis in front me without masks and he didn't say anything to them.

Plumbing section is well stocked, however Customer service dosent exist in this branch. Pricing needs to be correct. It is sad as last ten years buying from wickes I dread to go there, it's my last resort, if any shop dosent have the item than I check for online delivery before I pop into barking branch. Very very sad.

Heed my warning and DO NOT buy a bathroom from Wickes (especially this store). They will sell you expensive parts without you being able to see them first, and there is a clause in the contract (that they don't warn you about) that "special order" goods cannot be refunded OR EXCHANGED. MOST OF THE BATHROOM IS SPECIAL ORDER! I'm now stuck with a £245 toilet that is not fit for purpose and spent more money to buy a toilet from a third party. Avoid like the plague. I REPEAT DO NOT BUY A BATHROOM FROM WICKES UNLESS YOU DON'T MIND GETTING SCAMMED!

Has most of what you expect. Kitchen and bathroom displays with estimation service. Outdoor hardware but NO garden nursery or pots. Occasionally some plants and compost at the front. Lots of timber and brick. Most importantly a TOOLSTATION inside. Busy customer services but that's most places.

I was expecting better from a reputable company like Wickes. Checked availability online then went to buy at store surprisingly out of stock. Staff members weren't very helpful the prices weren't as displayed, at checkout had to remove a number of items as priced wrong. The excuse till staff gave was system wasn't updated.

Had everything we needed, service was poor, the cashier was using the f word with his mate across the floor whilst serving us, we had children with us, this behaviour seemed very natural. It was a big muscle guy from the African decent. I understand its wicks and you always serving builders ect so I can expect it wont be the typical sir/madam service, but should atleast acknowledge customers. Guess service is not as important these days.

No clear pricing related to product and in mess, unhelpful staff on shop floor. Asked for a manager fobbed off with a story. About to leave for Selco when I asked the Asian women on customer service/refund. She went out of her way to find the item and told me what to look for. Today she is your star for me spending £££ on acustic insulation. Please learn just want to be in and out of the store.

If you buy a kitchen from wickes be warned you may not get a correct measurement of what you want and may get extra parts put on your order form which you don't want or need. Also when you try to get a refund you cant and this could add up to hundreds of pounds my experience was just like this.
