You will not find anyone on the shop floor to help out. Very long waiting time on the queue. Basically, customer service does not exist here. You will be able to find most of the necessary items though.

Valentino was excellent. He helped me look at different products and designs for my bathroom renovation, gave me advice and was a pleasure to deal with throughout. I highly recommend him.

Layout is poor. Some items have prices on them and are on the right shelf others are not. Unless you read the barcodes to match the correct price you will be in for a shock at the tills

Terrible customer service. Called in to find out if they had a certain product in store. After a minute of ringing a guy picks up then was asked to give the product number. He seemed fairly grumpy, impatient, sounded like he could disturb the electricity flow around his house during sleep and all round rude. After giving the product number was told they don't have it in stock but online it showed they do. So I phoned up again hoping someone who actually knows what they're doing picks up. This time a women named sonia picks up and told me they do have it in stock. I told her about the incident and she also seemed quiet rude and asked for my name and if I was going to come in store so she could have security ready. At that point I felt threatened and decided not to go there. Avoid!

Giant warehouse, found the timber we were looking everywhere for! Not an impressive electrical section, and didn't have enough time to inspect every section on this trip but will definitely revisit.

Poor Customer Service
Talked to inquire about a delivery, and the member of staff who I was talking to was really rude and unprofessional. Asked to talk to the manager and the manager wasn’t helpful either, asked the staff members name who was rude to me to make a complaint but the manager refused to provide the name. Would not be using this store again.

Don't have good customer service especially if returning something. Ordered some boards online and then returned them on delivery. The delivery guys are supposed to update the system. We ended up chasing for a refund for over 3 weeks

Good for choice but mostly lack of staff availability for help on shop floor. That can cause delays and end up get a ticket for overstay. Not good. But there is a small mobile cafe outside for a munch if hungry.

Ordered soil via click & collect. Got a text almost immediately to confirm the order was ready to be collected. Drove the 20 miles to Barking in a hurry to get there within 24 hours, only to be told on arrival that the products weren’t available. Really poor.

I like the Wickes but on this one, one young girl is crazy. She doing everything to lose the customer. She shouldn't work there. Wickes will lose the client's. I will never go there again.

Helpful staff, helped me find exactly the plumbing part that I was looking for but didn't know what it was called. Lots of stock and a nice range of products. Reasonable prices. Large car park but as is usual nowadays there're sometimes shady characters hanging around. Perfectly safe though.

I was very disappointed that I got to Wickes at 8am hoping to speak to someone about the prices of their bathroom range as there are no prices displayed - only to find out that staff do not turn up until 11am! That's highly unsatisfactory!

I like Wickes personally, but unfortunately had very bad experience at this particular store. Staff at click and collect were very rude.
Most of the staff didn't seems to be happy at all, not welcoming and had no idea how to treat costumers with respect.
Management should look into it.

Everything under one roof. Although they have a good range of building products, for anything that isn't standard specification you would probably need to go to a proper builders merchant. Loads of parking as usual. The best thing about them is that if you have unopened and undamaged products , they will exchange for goods or your money, without questioning the reason.

Good store, great offers but no one to help me. Spent half an hour alone trying to find a staff member to help. In the end the security officer working there had to help. I left the store with what u needed which took 2 mins to choose and pick up but wasn't happy at all with the extreme lack of help from none existent staff there

Worst customer service I have ever encountered. Was sworn in front of twice. The F word! Not at me but with a colleague,who was lovely by the way. When I picked the young lad up on his language he didnt apologise,seemed to think it was ok and then pulled out the race card.

Service slow and too many queues.
Loads of romanians scamming for working and hassling you in the carpark and even when i was in the timber section. Wouldnt sell me a drill bit i picked up in the store as said it belonged to another part of the shop that wasnt wickes!!!!! On the plus side they nearly always have what i need.

Been shopping in wicks for more than 14 years last visit i wad really upset road was very busy but i managed to get there 5 min before closing all i wanted was to pay for some soil n load it from the font outside the security guy was very rude n did not let me in all the security guys i know there are good that day new asian security guy was there if wicks say they are closing 4 pm sunday it should be closed on time not before take example from b&q
