I bought Wickes own brand paint that was labelled as 'Chalk White' which turned out to be 'Concrete Grey'. The manager of the store, Lewis was dismissive and argued that because I opened the paint tin, I was not due a refund. After we saw the pictures, he first argued that wasn't the paint I used, and then also argued I had painted an entire wall - therefore I couldn't get a refund. In the world of Amazon - one must take the quality assurance that comes from customer feedback seriously - at the peril of lost future business. Photos attached of their 'Chalk White'. I have since had to paint over with 2 coats of another paint to mask this travesty. Basically - don't bother buying their paint, go somewhere where they honour the customer and their honest feedback (no one serious is trying to save £20 on a paint refund - such a bizarre position!)

Terrible customer service. Went to checkout with a couple of items. 2 of them came up as more expensive than what the price advertised was. I physically went to show the customer assistant the price it is labelled as and asked that they honor the price. I got a response under a muffled voice 'I seriously ain't got time for this'
Well perhaps if the price tags were right you wouldn't need to?

I've always loved going to Wickes because the picture that I took that's attached to this review is of a very hard-wearing pine shelf built from wood sold by Wickes. Got the screws there too. Other tools were purchased from various eBay sellers however the bulk of the tools I got were from their partner Toolstation which I believe is in every single branch of Wickes nationwide, very handy.

Had a kitchen fitted in 2018 which was not signed off by wickes. I left messages with a worker called pushpa and the so called kitchen design team. Nothing came of it. I was told it’s nothing to do with them and to call customer services. Pushpa was very unhelpful and denied any knowledge of my calls. Please don’t use wickes.

No complaints, have been visiting the DIY store for a while. Sometimes, it's easier to buy from toolstation (counter inside the store) rather than looking for something inside the store aisles.

Ok. Normal wickes store. I may not fully be able to rate as well even though I have three as this is first time to wickes. Did not get a feel like a shop felt more like a warehouse a bit clumsy. So better be cautious when you do read my review.

While some of their prices are better than the competition like BandQ and Selco, they lack in profesionalism in online transaction, twice in 2 months I have tried to pay for bulk delivery, chosen the delivery slot, made the payment then an error came up saying delivery slot error, so both transactions did not get through but my money from the payments have been stuck in a PENDING status for more than a week before the bank could release them back into my account. So I will never buy online anything from them.

Went to Wicked this morning before heading to work. They open at 6.30am but the other store in Barking opens at 6am if anyone wants to get their earlier. But nice and quiet get what you want quickly without any queues! Great service and the guys are fully awake ready to serve. Car park was fairly busy which I'm guessing due to people hitting the gym but I got there around 7am and left around 7.15 and traffic wasn't too bad still got home decent time and then head off to work.

No Star rating, had difficulty returning my product, it clearly said on the box I had 2 years. Then they said it's been used so what's the point of having a 2 year guarantee. Staff was rude, had 2 queue up twice, just stick with b&q, what an absolute joke. If I could rate it -, then I would

You've got to love Wickes with their huge range of products, garden, building and decorating materials, all at some of the best prices among their competitors.
This store can be difficulty to navigate with missing or misleading signage but at least it helps get your steps up.

Very helpful staff. Picked up laminate flooring and though the displayed samples are lacking and stock appeared low the staff were wonderful and forklifted the remaining pallet down from the top shelf.

I was unhappy with the service at Toolstation.
I had had trouble identifying the washer I needed from the catalogue, so I took the tap into the shop. (If I had identified the required washer, I would have used Click and Collect). After queueing for 20 mins., I asked the assistant if she could assist, after explaining my problem. She said she couldn't, waving at the queue, and said they were closing at 4pm. There were 2 assistants working, and about 4 people in the queue. It was 2.45pm.

I bought my first live Christmas tree this year from Wickes Chadwell Heath. It's a beautiful tree and very reasonable in price. I would definitely recommend and will be back next year.

The customer service at checkout was exceptional. Served by a young American lad. He was so polite and certainly has outstanding customer service skills.
