Generally I have a very poor experience here and I only visit when Toolstation next door doesn't have stock. However the member of staff who helped me most recently was excellent so it's a frustrating that they don't offer that service consistently

Not sure why people go to B&Q... etc.... these sorts of places are so much better and cheaper. This place is pretty good. Get the bits you need or advice on where to go if they haven't got it. Always worth checking priced but screwfix seems reasonable

Always check screwfix and toolstation prices, toolstation station almost always is cheaper. Screwfix is owned by b&q so they try and squeeze every last penny out of you.

Tool station next door is much better. The staff here only care about making sales, and they dont want to know if you have a complaint. There was some dangerous overhanging items that they outright refused to move, despite having the potential to cause an accident.
They're also very hostile when you make a complaint in store, trying to threaten you out of filing it.
There is a nice young woman working here who is the only person who actually does her job to the full extent, the rest of the staff are ridiculous and clearly not qualified.
