Ordered bathroom from them. Worst experience ever. Once you have made the payment your sales advisor will not take your call. Missing items. Bathroom sink was not symmetrical. Very poor quality. Customer services wasn't helpful either. The bath was stripped out awaiting parts. Builder charging by the day. You have been warned. I have never gone to wickes since then.

Extremely rude staff. No customer skills. I witnessed a cashier be dismissive and combative to customers on two separate occasions (the only 2 times I saw him). The second time he was speaking rudely his famle colleague joined the conversation to back him up. I gently suggested it was the way he was speaking to the customer. They both looked at me but no reply. My voice was completely ignored.The female colleague then snatched my item from in front of me and walked me over to another till. "Cash or card" was the only thing she said. They need monitoring ... not to mention customer service skills training.

Our recent trip to Wickes was a bit of a disappointment, we went looking for paintable wallpaper, of which they had very little choice and almost no stock. I seem to think that Wickes is more of a builders DIY store rather than a homemakers store.

Really rude customer service. I was served by a black lady who advised that I needed to go to the Barking store to return the item “if I wasn’t happy”. Not what I expect from a chain of shops. She then decided to serve some customer in front of me. Never again go to this store!

My experience of purchasing a kitchen with Wickes has been incredibly unpleasant. If you are going to buy a kitchen from this store do not deal with Derek Price. He will give an unrealistic quote for the labour, promise you a free dishwasher that he shouldn’t have, and when you ask where your dishwasher is lie and say he explained we wouldn’t be getting the dishwasher as he gave us a discount. He also laughed, patronised and shouted at us down the phone, not my idea of customer service. He will also lie about when his manager is in the store so we can’t discuss his unprofessional behaviour. Actually, nobody in this store seems to know when people are or aren’t at work! We paid £6000 (+ £3K for fitting) for the kitchen up front and did not take credit, his face lit up, he completely took advantage of young people renovating their first home, promising things he shouldn’t and then accusing us of ‘misunderstanding him’. This one star is for Kevin our fitter who has been fantastic throughout.

Staff were sitting around talking, when I had went in to get a refund for being over charged, I had to go and get the price to prove I had been over charged instead of the employee, after I had taken a photo of the price the Staff member had helped me with a refund but was chatting to colleagues the whole time, Had been charged full price for 30 boxes of tiles, went back and had gotten a refund.

Terrible customer service! Cant refund you when you're over 30days! Wicks FYI some DIY jobs takes longer then 30days! At least give bloody credit note! Seriously you're better off B&Q!

Products are as you would expect from a large store, but customer service is non existent. They see customers as an inconvenience to what they want to do (chat, updatet status etc). You are better off going to a small merchants who will be happy to see you and charge the same if not less

The Area Manager for this Wicks seriously needs to spend some time in this place to see how badly it is operating. Hardly any prices on products, stock all over the place and the manager of the place when asked for a price could not care less. Told me a laminate flooring per box was £50 which is ridiculous so when I took it upon myself to get the price because he obviously didn’t want to help I found it was only £18.99 per box. Not only that, there were no staff to help at all, I had to load box after box of flooring myself and then to be told it was a different price. Half the stock in the place is half open and damaged and yet customers are expected to pay full whack for it or if the manager had his way over 3 times the actual price and that’s if he can be bothered. Avoid this place.....lazy con artists who don’t care less. There is a Homebase less than 5 minutes up the road or a B&Q in Romford.....use them instead unless you like being ripped off and zero customer service.

Worst place to buy bathroom products. Waste of time to shopping around at this place. We went to this big store today to buy complete bathroom products. They are offering very good easter sale discount. We spend nearly 1 hour to select toilet, basin, shower room items. Once we are ready with our choice we went to the customer service to order our choice items because in the bathroom & kitchen department there was only one sales person available and he was busy with another customer. After showing our choiced items to the store assitant, she said all this special offer products are OUT OF STOCK AND CAN BE DELIVER FOUR WEEKS TIME ( There was no notice or nothing was mentioned about this big surprise ) , She showed us three toilets and three basins which are only available in this amazing big stores to buy. You make sure you make a choice of itmes which they have them in stock ready otherwise you need to keep builders in your home for four weeks.

Worst Service EVER received from any company EVER!!!! Kitchen has been a disaster from start to finish... even had to chase them to take payment... nobody communicates... poor design, poor service, still waiting for a replacement door 6 months after kitchen was delivered, still waiting for worktop to be finished - taken days off work only for nothing to arrive or worktop fitters not to show up. DO NOT waste your money on ANYTHING from Wickes! Follow up from the above review...... literally at the point of a mental breakdown because of this company. Everything they arrange is wrong... they take no responsibility for customer service.... nobody cares that i havent had a sink for 8 MONTHS!!!! I will make sure that everyone i know and everyone they know NEVER buys anything from Wickes. I have never ever seen customer service like it. Further update.... Finally got worktop fitted..... had to have an upgraded worktop as they couldnt find someone willing to fit our original purchase... they tried to pass this off as compensation for the 9 months of hell they have put us through... then came back with a £250 offer... which is unnacceptable..... weve lost over a thousand pounds in wages, had no sink for months and months... unable to move forward with any aspect of our kitchen.... again customer service is an absolute joke..... very very very dissapointed.

Worst customer service i visited today bought few bits for cable connection paid as ussual but when i got back to my car i realised i have been charged wrong so went back with the receipt i politely asked a member of staff can you please check this price for me i think i have been charged wrong as per the price mentioned on lable. He started of explaing me trading standards and law i got so disappointed and thought i only asked to double check the price however i came back with my purchase as the bits i bought were urgent for me. I dont think i will be going back again and i will not recommend any one because of bad service and rude staff.
