Absolutely rubbish service. I placed an order on store fences and other stuff delivery for two weeks . A day before delivery they rang me saying there is no fence paint in stock we have to give you refund. When I go online the pains was still available to buy because discount offer was ended.When I bought it was on offer. they didn't want lose £2 . What a selfishness. Everyone should avoid this store.

Came here looking for a mould paint/ sealant checked the website before going, said it was in stock here, it wasn't wasted a lot of time looking for it, asked a worker and was told in a rather dismissive way that if its not over there we don't have it.
Ended up going to b&q found it within a couple of minutes.

We managed to get long wood pieces to make our shelf in the garage for 3.00 each great bargain !! Great service too !! Unfortunately their nails were very expensive at more than 7.00 for a small pack .

Rude staffs.
In front of all customers, a Staff pointed his finger to us and accused to open the boxes. He shouted a d called the security. We asked the manager to check their cameras and stopped to Presume something that we didn't. After visualizing the cameras, The security and manager recognized that we didn't open any boxes as there already been opened and apologised for the staff mistakes. He also offered a good deal on our purchase but we refused to buy anything. The end of story is that we had a bad time and waste our time.

Hude store with lots of space to socially distance. Though it's hard to find staff to help you and a but unfriendly. Best to go at quiet times as not much parking. Also dont go if you have checked online and there is only a few items of what you want in stock. As it wont be there.

Submit an online form for a kitchen design call back, they call a week later just to essentially say to measure your kitchen. Then they promise an to email and never bother. Sevice is awful so would not buy.

I love this place.
The staff are very helpful and it's such a big place which houses pretty much everything you're after for home improvements and any DIY jobs. Also it's right next door to Toolstation which is perfect. If one item isn't available in Wickes you'll surely find it in Toolstation.
We come regularly as we are so into improving out home and forever have jobs to do around our home.
You can get a good bargain here especially if you have a trade account
Also it's easy to get to and plenty of parking available.

Valentino in the kitchen department went above and beyond multiple times when it came to our new kitchen from the moment we came in to order to the final handle. He was always available when we needed him and knew how to make the kitchen look spectacular. You will not be disappointed with the service that Valentino provides. He is an asset to Wickes and always went out of his way to make sure everything ran smoothly.

Good customer service, but outside you get volunteers to help you load the car but are they really volunteers if they then ask you for money at the end of them loading your car and we ain't talking about a few pounds either. The amount of trolls that wanted to help on my second trip. If this is your first trip be warned

Bought white masonary paint from the Barking store after travelling 25 miles to pick up. Opened up and it was BLACK with white on the tub.
Took it back to the store and two staff members on the returns desk would not even make eye contact through the Covid screens. One walked off, the other served a customer on the other side. I called out where to go for the returns and she just said 'there', where I was standing. She then served someone else before eventually serving me with no please, thank or a smile...... customer service, eh?

Absolute joke. First of all qued outside for 15 minutes then once entering the shop had no idea where to collect my on line purchase so stood in the returns qué for 45 minutes and was told collection was at the other till. Then qued again at the other till for half hour to then be told 'sorry collection is at another que in the middle of the shop so then had to qué for the 3rd time to collect my purchase. I asked for a receipt so I could continue shopping in the store but he said receipt on line. So I was let out the different collection exit. No signs or anything to direct customers to the right place. Never ever going there again. No 2 metre distancing between the returns qué and the customers entering the store either.

This is a busy branch, lack of trolleys make it very difficult to do shopping at busy times. Overall OK, but there are much better branches out there. I'd recommend checking stock levels online and doing click and collect due to it being busy.

Customer service is poor, the store deputy manager with Scottish accent is rude person not at all helpful. We went 2 times for kitchen planning but every time says come back another day so we ended up in wren kitchens.
Wickes website shows very good kitchen with good price I like wickes but barking branch staff not helpful.
