Its wickes, always out of stock of one of the items you need, only 1 person serving, so long wait at tills. Be careful not to over stay in car park or you'll get a £100 fine

I had to go to Wickes for some paint today, I was fortunate enough to come across a young man who was working in a different department but he stopped what he was doing and helped me find exactly what I was looking for. Had to collect a trolley from the car park myself. Loads of empty sections on shelves. Lots of price labels missing.
Bonus bonds supposedly accepted according to bonus bond, but store couldn't process my gift card. Despite sincere efforts of sales assistant. Store manager didn't come despite repeated calls from sales assistant

TOTALLY AVOID! AWFUL customer service, very rude and ignored my presence multiple times, even after calling out to five times. When asked for her name she refused to give it to me. This is an unacceptable behaviour and I have been a long term customer at Wicks Barking and regret to say I will no longer shop here again. I went to another shop close by selco, which offered a kind and friendly service that I expected from Wicks.

I recently ordered 5 fence panels, concrete posts and installed them. The quality of fence panels & posts not good at all at the time of delivery. Panels gone out of shape within days. It's partly my fault too (for spraying the paint). I contacted customer service and in return, I got the response back from the store manager. I had to replace these panels with good ones from a local supplier. The store manager (I received call from him) is very good guy. Unfortunately, he could not do much until he receives response from his supplier. I was told that the quality issue happened with another customer aswell. I wasted £250 incl. labour. The panels are ready to be put in to bin.

Trying to find someone to release the products from the shelves is almost impossible. Then you have a good 10 minute wait for anyone to turn up once you do find someone. Staff are helpful but it's horrendously managed.

Poor customer service. Staff on the shop floor dont want to help you in any way. The answer to any query is go to tills. The last thing I want to do is hold up tills for them to answer my questions. The recruitment and training needs to be looked into.

We came to Wickes whilst looking for a kitchen, after receiving a quote from Wren as we wanted to compare. We were met by Valentino Sfamurri (previously from the West Hampstead branch) and instantly felt like he just got us and what we wanted, he made SO MANY useful suggestions and opened our minds up to different options we weren’t aware of. He’s also very creative and knows what he’s talking about - he’s familiar with all the appliances and helped us keep to budget. We decided strait away to continue the process with Wickes, thanks to Valentino! We had a few changes that we wanted made along the process, and he was always so attentive and was available whenever we had a question. Now, even after the kitchen has been delivered, he’s followed up with us to check everything is ok, and when we noticed something wasn’t delivered correctly he helped us strait away. We’re very happy with our beautiful kitchen, and especially with the service that came with it! That’s what makes all the difference in such a competitive world.

Do not use Wickes' Kitchen Department. The worst from designer, to shop floor staff, to delivery team. Absolute joke. Lazy drivers, lack of trust in the designer as they have no clue and you have to constantly remind them of certain stuff, everythings a mess with them.
If you want a smooth journey when it comes to kitchen refurbishments, Wickes is not the place. I promise you that.

Avoid at all costs ! especially early morning. the illegal labour isnt just toting for work they are now threatening our guys whilst loading there vans if they dont let them help and pay them . The store are understanding but say they are getting NO help from the police or council ...probably against there human rights ! What the .... is happening to this country
