Extremely unhelpful staff, unwilling to answer the queries I had in regards to what they had to offer.It felt like I was being walked out of the yard because they didn't want to help me. I also visited Evans Halsaw and Arnold Clarke who were very helpful and understanding of my requirements and queries. Really disappointed with the customer service.

I thought it only fair to have the car for awhile before i leave a fair review of sandicliffe and the used car i bought from them. upon collecting the car the low coolant level light was on, that's down to the water pump leaking so i know have to put coolant in every 3 to 5 hundred miles, the battery was so old the start stop did not work, but to be fair they have replaced the battery twice for me now as the first one they fitted was not suitable for a start stop vehicle , in fact it was the cheapest battery money can buy, i was lied to about the car having a service and oil change, it was never done, there was a dash cam in the car. the bonnet never opened. I changed the oil myself the very next day, the filter housing had not been undone in a while certainly not only 24hrs before and the oil level low and was very black to say it had only done 7miles, the front suspension rattles and knocks, really bad on the near side, they mot'd the car and sold it with advisories ware cleary parts should have been changed. They said they would do the cam belt as its over 8yrs old and never been done, but they did not. buyers beware when buying used from these people they just plain tell lies, i was offered a tank of diesel for a good review, but i thought i would just tell the truth..

I have only given 1 star because I can't give no stars. Avoid. We found a car on their website, exactly what we wanted. Called to book an appointment to view it and were promised that if anyone else enquired about the car we would be notified. I took time off work and my partner spent the entire morning sorting out finance, calling them twice during the morning. She was assured the car was still available. We travelled up and only called to let them know we were running late, only to be told that they had sold the car. Complete waste of our time and all we were offered was that they would see if they had any other cars for us.

Well, further update needed. Following my first review, Sandicliffe has got in touch, and we met halfway. I shall now consider the whole story utter miscommunication (the selling/buying process on the day went just fine, the after-sale part was the bumpy one); therefore ‘thank you’ & 4* to Sandicliffe, and special mention to Google review section for making things possible. Initial review, now obsolete. I made the payment for my car on the 24th June. Due to COVID 19 situation, the time for Q&A was limited, I was given a brochure as guidance, and even questions as simple as ‘is my car fitted with a timing belt?’ got no answer - ‘I’ll find out that for you’, the clerk said; I am still waiting for him to find out. Couple of days later I found the car a bit different than what the brochure said it should be, a missing gizmo. I raised the query with the customer service, my query have been passed to the service dept, then to the sales dept, and finally have been put to rest in limbo. No further answers to my emails whatsoever. Sandicliffe couldn’t ruin the experience as the car is very nice, but they definitely tried hard to do so.

Good new and used car selection. The servicing is top notch although expect dealer prices. The only thing preventing this from being 5 stars is the lack of a welcome desk - a lovely showroom and plenty of staff hidden in offices, but feels very awkward to walk into and wait for someone to notice you from behind closed doors.

Would sooner walk than take my car here. Held my car for 4 days instead of the promised 3. Tried it on about my water level being low, offered to check it out for £75 but wouldn't even put a cup full of water in it. Had it checked by another garage. Guess what, nothing wrong.

Daniel was the only person to acknowledge us when we arrived to look at cars, even thou he was with a customer at the time, he gave eye contact asked us to give him 10 minutes while he finishes his transaction. No one else approached us until they realised we were serious about buying. We found Daniel to be very professional, good sence of humour and very methodical with the sale, we arrived back on Tuesday to pick up the car, as promised very thing was in orded. The boot of our car that we purchased from here in october 2019 recently stopped working so we called up to get it fixed as it is still under warantee. After looking at the car the Fordstore proceeded to tell us that there was £1250 worth of faults with the car that urgently needed fixing. One of these problems was that it needed a new CAM belt fitting. We were told that they should be changed every 8 years and the car is 12 years old so this should have been sorted or even brought to our attention before the car was sold to us. Another is that the sealant went out of date in 2017 which is 2 years before we even bought the car. No problems were ever brought up with us when purchasing the car and cars dont just go from being completely fine to "urgently" needing repairing, so somewhere along the lines we have clearly been lied to. None of the problems came under the warantee either so upon picking the car up we asked what the silver warantee that we purchased actually covered. No one was able to tell us this and said we should have been given a booklet on it. On top of that after driving off from the fordstore we noticed that the mirrors wouldnt move and later discovered that the fuse was blown. Ford claim that they are not responsible for the blown fuse despite the fact that the mirrors were fully working when we dropped the car off. Its safe to say as much as I love my ford fiesta I will not be buying a car from here again as I am dissapointed with the service received and feel as though I have been taken advantage of. UPDATE: Sandicliffe have since got in contact with me as they were unhappy with my review and wanted to improve my satisfaction. After messing me about for a month they have now told me that it is not their responsibility to check over their used cars. I strongly do not reccomend buying a car from here and hope that people dont make the same mistake i did of thinking sandicliffe is a reputable and trustworthy place to buy a car from as it is far from it.

Completely messed me about for a whole month, Ignored my calls, told me they were carrying out work on the brakes and paintwork which they said they had carried out, arranged a time to view the car which my partner had to taken time off work for, when we arrived they hadn't even cleaned the car never mind carried out the work. Absolute shambles of a company! 2nd of july now - the reply message from sandicliffe looking into this is a joke....no-one has contacted me. This is just a ploy to save face. UPDATE - Chris made no attempt to contact me, the paint repairs discussed were the rear driver side wing (upon arrival they said they had painted the front bumper which was not even an issue as far as I was concerned) the discussion also suggested that Chris (the manager) would have the brakes replaced as there was only a few months left in the disks (very worn and large lip from wear) these were advisories on the MOT which was discussed and I said I would be happy to buy the car when this was done, I was told that this would be sorted and upon returning after being told by the secretary that the mechanical work had been "carried out" nothing had been done to the car....NOT EVEN A WASH! TERRIBLE COMPANY

Worst place ever to deal with in my life!! My dad paid £11,000 for a van and paid for the 1 year warranty. Then to find out a few days later that the CD player doesn’t work in the van. Rang the sales team they said because it’s only a week old sold they would sort it for us! Book it in with the parts team and then they try to tell us that we need to pay £500 for the CD player. The van was in the garage for the day they did nothing to sort the CD player out then we find out there is other faults to the van. We go in to see the staff and the man promised my dad they would sort all the problems out for the next day! Then they ring about 20 minutes later (making sure we are no longer in the building) and then say they are not sorting the problems out. and we’ve got to wait two weeks for an old CD player to be fitted! Delivered from Germany but when you look online you can buy one from England with next day delivery for £200. We have alway brought our family cars from sandicliffe but now I would never use them again and would tell friends and family not to even bother! Really bad customer service

Absolutely perfect service with a large variety of cars available. I got an appointment right away, was unfortunately late but never the less was still able to keep my appointment and the salesman's full time attention. Test drives are on a well known safe route. I part exchanged which was no problem and got the exchange value I was hoping for. Cars sold come with 12 Months MOT and tax which is an incredible service and provides essential assurance that you get value for money! The team seemed to be kitted out with the right softwares and had no hassle with the V5C. He could answer all my questions about the car and really did provide a friendly environment; even when the car had failed its MOT i received details on the plan for maintenance and assurance it will be provided with 12 months MOT. I never imagined I would experience such high end service. Will no doubt be taking my friends here for buying cars.
