Beautiful shop with lots of gorgeous kitchen stuff. We have gone back again and again to this shop to buy our kitchen gadgets. That I suppose says a lot. We find the products are stylish and functional and the shop staff are respectful and appropriately attentive.

I have nothing against this shop. The people in there were nice, friendly and helpful to us.
Unfortunately, the two ovens we ordered came with lots of scratches and imperfections. They were replaced and one oven came with scratches again. The third replacement came and I asked the delivery guys to open it in front of the house so we don't even need to bother to take it inside. It was all scratched so we send it back.
This took half a year.
We've asked for the compensation instead of trying to replace the oven again. They offered us some money (1/4 of the price of the oven and 2 small appliances after we insisted that it was not enough). I think it's not enough for all the hustle for half a year (taking days off for installation, canceling it, spending hours on emails and phone calls) but we took it, so we can move on.
The money came in a week. The appliances never came. I called the customer service after a few weeks and was told that the deal is either money or appliances. They have nothing else in their system.
Luckily, I had all the email communication (that's why I prefer email communication over the phone one), so they asked me to send the emails again (I am sure they must have them) and now I am waiting for some response.
8 months and counting. My 20 years old oven was in the better shape. I don't think I will buy SMEG ever again (it looks nice tho).

AVOID AVOID AVOID! The Italian employees at the SMEG store may appear friendly but are totally clueless on their own stock/ inventory and as such, are utterly useless. All show and no go.
And now, to make matters worse, most of their small appliances are made in CHINA!
SMEG should fold up its UK operations! Terrible quality. Terrible ethics. Terrible company.

Asked a great member of staff for assistance and help at hand with my queries. Clean welcoming place alot effort made in appreance display products. Check it out wow. Visited the Store because I work for a domestic appliance company myself and wanted to have a look at one of the fridge freezers they do. Despite the fact I told the ladies I wasn't a customer they were still extremely friendly and even offered to show me some other products on another floor. I would definitly recommend them!

Will never buy anything from Smeg ever again. My fridge broke down on 22nd November (after 5 months). It is now 28th December and I am anywhere near resolving this issue. They use a different company to handle the repairs which is utterly useless. It takes them a week to order a new part and another week to book you in. Then you get fed up and ask for a refund d, they tell you someone will be in touch shortly to arrange a collection. 5 days later, nothing. I have had a £1400 fridge sitting at home now for more than a month. This is a joke company and not worth the money.

We attended a course making Sushi arranged by the Japan Centre in the presentation area. Wonderful space.
As for the Smeg products; there were some incredible D&G designed fridges that were awesome.

The shop is meant to close at 7pm we got there at 6.15pm to be told the shop closed early at 6pm because they have a private function... we came from far away and took the afternoon off for nothing! Cost us money and time they didn’t warn of the early closing time on their website, we wanted to buy an oven as ours just died needless to say that I will not buy my cooker from Smeg nor will I buy anything from them ever again, furious!

A few weeks back my fridge broke down so I had to buy a new one. I went shopping around central London and noticed SMEG. Didn't know they had a store in London.
As soon as you step inside you are attacked by sales associates that doesn't give you any room to "breathe".
I mean, who is the store manager that trains staff like that?
Its so uncomfortable for people like me.
Not everyone wants 110% attention and fake smiles.
All I want is a fridge and I can help myself, but these guys over there doesn't seem to understand that.

The days of quality with Smeg have long gone , You know receive very poor quality , This is also the same as customer service .
I purchase a £700 Smeg PVS750 glass hob , The chrome feet on the pan stands just peeled off ? I contacted customer service who ask me to email which i did 4 times and they said never received ? After many phone calls they just said they would not replace !
So if you think buying Smeg you are buying quality please think again those days have long gone . now ....
