Its great to know you can still call a shop and get help immediately. I called Christine for help with a tenant's dishwasher and she sorted out an engineer for me. No stress and no long wait for a slot. They are always helpful and good prices for all household goods.

I highly recommend Lynnes. I bought some large items from them and I have to say the customer service is second none. They are a great team and Mark gave me superb advice on what to buy. He was very patient and explained everything really well. There were ongoing issues with the washer dryer I bought but Mark stepped in and the whole thing was resolved brilliantly and I now have the upgraded model and was compensated by the manufacturer for the inconvenience!!. I don't know of any other retailer that would go above and beyond to help their customers like this. Although I've moved out of the area they are my go to store for anything electrical.

Mark's help was invaluable in identifying a replacement for an obsolete cooker hood (the only one on the market that was suitable), sourcing it for us overnight and advising us to get a kitchen fitter who could do carpentry as well. We are very grateful for the time he invested in helping us to find a solution.

Last week I went into lynnes electrical and ordered a new gas oven I was so overwhelmed as they said it could be delivered the same day but I said no Monday will be fine and it was delivered at 13.30 the delivery men followed the Covid protocol they were polite respectful and smiling.A while later the gas safety engineer came and fitted the oven.I cannot praise lynnes Electrical high enough and would recommend that if you want any white goods do pay them a visit. Christmas was in jeopardy when our oven stopped heating on Christmas Eve - but Mark was so helpful and arranged a same-day removal of the old oven and installation of a new one. Plus both the guys who did the removal and fitting were great.

I needed to replace an integrated fridge freezer and double oven. The staff at Lynnes went above and beyond to make sure I was getting a like for like replacement that was delivered quickly. Really appreciated the additional support in getting something that was going to work! Highly recommend.

I spoke to several companies about purchasing a fridge freezer but Lynnes Electrical were by far the most helpful. Special thanks to Christine for all her advice. Delivery was easy to arrange and I'm delighted with the fridge freezer.

Friendly Service . But beware gas cookers buyers of the gas installation charge this is only a standard charge like supplying a new gas hose and bayonet and connect. if they have to do any pipe work they will sting you for a extra cost. Just make sure the cooker you buy can be fitted with the standard charge Also make sure the cooker you buy has all the attachments you require as mine only come with one oven shelf and no grill handle when i called the shop they said that manufactures don't supply them now you have to buy them .... I read your reply i'm just informing the public of my experience so that they will not make the mistakes i made that's what reviews are for so they don't have to pay more then they need to ... Telephoned the shop this morning at 10am for my elderly parents who were distressed as their tumble dryer had broken down. Whilst speaking on the phone, an arrangement was made, payment taken and new tumble dryer delivered by 4pm the same day. Excellent service. Would highly recommend. Thank you very much.

I was just asking about some information

Christine, at Lynnes Electrical, is like a fairy God mother, for the busy property manager, conjuring up practically non existent stock, in this Covid climate. Good, old fashioned values, in the modern manor! My usual, East London, supplier was quoting me 34 days for arrival, to a UK address, of a Blomberg (company established in 1883, in Germany) freezer, with a 3 year warranty (now owned by Beko). Christine even emailed me a receipt, after my purchase, at my request, which was handwritten and even itemised, with model numbers, immediately after we ended the telephone conversation!! I trusted Christine so much, that I telephoned Lynnes back the next day, to ask for a recommendation of a furniture supplier, for new divan bed bases, which one of her colleagues did, as Christine was on a well earned break, who recommended Beddy Buyz, also in Elephant and Castle, which was another good buy, at a fair price, delivered by the Owner, personally and his worker! Although the flat I was shopping for, is in North London, I found the details for Lynnes Discount Electrical Superstore's, which is in South London, on the Blomberg (Beko owned website). I was looking for a new freezer and dishwasher for new tenants. Christine sent her warehouse staff to find a Blomberg dishwasher, which was silver and thought to be in stock and said she would me call back in 10 minutes. Silver did not suit my decor, so I rang a few more suppliers, whilst Lynnes looked, who said dishwashers are like gold dust, at present, due to the factories, in Europe, shutting down for a while, because of the Virus. Not wishing to miss out, I phoned Christine back, soon, telling her of my dilemma and she persuaded me to go for a Bosch dishwasher, in white, of which I already have two, at other properties and also go for a Beko freezer (the parent of Blomberg!) In fact, the Beko freezer, she sold me, was almost identical to the c20 year old one I was replacing, which had been working well, but had a couple of broken drawer fascias. Christine's delivery guys also arrived on time, were extremely pleasant and installed the dishwasher quickly and efficiently. I'm only sorry I forgot to give them a tip. The Lynnes shopping experience was exemplary. I know where to shop for appliances in future!

Brilliant same day service. All arranged over the phone in minutes having spent hours trying to find a express fridge delivery online.

Needed to buy a washing machine urgently. Phoned Lynne's Electrical and spoke with Christine. She advised price for machine, delivery and installation. I called at the shop completed the deal and Christine advised it would be delivered and fitted between 11am - 1pm. Prompt delivery around 12. Excellent service from a local establishment. Thanks Christine and staff you were brilliant.

I have been shopping at Lynne’s for nearly 50 years. I have bought all my electrical items from here, from toasters to televisions, cookers to washing machines, great. It is a family business and I have never had any problems with their sales and service. This s a great place to shop and I hope it’s still here for the next 50 years.

Proper old school, face-to-face high street shopping. Outstanding service and patient support throughout the purchase and fitting of a troublesome washing machine. Knowledgeable, personable and resourceful staff. Local and affordable. Highly recommended!!

I contacted this store based on them having such good reviews on here and was shocked at how patronising and rude the person who answered the phone was. I asked if they do repairs on lamps - I have an antique anglepoise lamp that needs work done on it - and he gave a totally snooty and dismissive response telling me that I should just throw it away. Why wouldn't I repair something rather than try and replace it. Its a super valuable, antique lamp. Fair enough if it's not something you offer as a service but don't be snooty! Also shouldn't we all be trying to repair things before we replace them to help our struggling planet?!

I couldn't get the online checkout working so I called up and talked to a lady with a lovely phone manner. My fridge was delivered two days later at the time promised. The delivery team was also very personable. Much better than dealing with Argos! Would recommend and would deal with again.

Rather than trawl the web looking for a new washing machine, I went into Lynne's on Saturday lunchtime and spoke about what I needed to a real human being. By 10am on Monday, my new machine was installed, and the old one removed. Excellent local, independent, customer-focused service. I recommend Lynne's every time.

Went to Lynne's to order a new Hotpoint cooker. The price including delivery and installation was very competitive and customer service was absolutely cracking. Everyone was really friendly and turned up exactly when they said they would. I'd definitely purchase white goods from these guys again.

Mike Lynne and his team were extremely helpful and professional. I went in with some non-standard requirements for washing machines and dryers, and they advised me clearly on the best models for me. If you need white goods (TVs, washers, dryers, etc) definitely check these guys out.

Lynne's has probably installed my entire kitchen, from cookers to dryers to chest freezers! I come back to Lynne's again & again for the fast reliable service, excellent customer care & great quality appliances.
