One of the best garage experiences!
I cannot recommend this company highly enough. My husband and I are perfectionists but our car is an elderly Subaru that needed a new gearbox and engine work. Matt and his team did not rest until it was all running superbly. Nothing was too much trouble and we were always made to feel welcome and not a burden! He had it back until he was happy (not just until we were!)
With the service we received, I cannot imagine any reasonable person ever having need to leave anything but excellent feedback. Thanks again Matt

I needed a front hub for a Suzuki GV and bought from Nippon Auto Spares. TBH, I was impressed. Not only were they quick and efficient on the phone but, when they promised to call back, they did so and at the time they promised - a rare event nowadays it seems. The correct parts parts arrived the following day so all in all I'm very pleased.

I’ve been meaning to write a review for Nippon for months now! I ordered from this company two times this year and they shipped it all the way to California. I have a Lexus IS and I needed many parts for the car after a collision. They got me a great price and the delivery was insane! They got it here in two days! That’s what a call an amazing company who cares about their customers! Also, they were very easy to communicate with! So awesome!! Wow!! I am totally shocked at how they were able to help me right away. I also needed different parts last week as my repair man wanted to charge me 2x the price!! The Lexus dealership was even worse! I didn’t know what to do until I called Nippon and they had to call me back a day later with an amazing deal! I took it right away and 3 days later. It arrived in perf condition and now my car is fully repaired! Saved my life.

Just had a new engine fitted and I'm really pleased with the results. They were really polite and professional and although there was a problem they sorted it out straight away with no moaning or excuses and even delivered my car back to my house on a Saturday evening over 70 miles away. That's what I call service. Would definitely recommend and if I need anything else in the future they will be first port of call. Thank you all at Nippon.

We baught an used engine for a Subaru STI for some years ago .
We should have writed this back to Company web site customers feed back for long times since. The enigine we received was in bad condition. Big rust inside cylinder wall.
We sent it back for check and repair. The Engine we receive back was still in bad conditions. close to nothing was done. there were deep rust inside cylinder wall still. Should be full overaul third time sent back, was not closed in case , missing all plastic plugs dust and not veru fine, in all whole of inlet etc. We clean all , and had to repair the enginee wiring was clipped of instead of disconnected sensors. ,After rest job done put into car and start up, big piston banks sound cold and still at hot engine. The workshop who did the job did not answere. we paid for new special Wiseco pistons to get and real good engine back. But did not gave us any good feeling. we did not get any money back and the end story after 6-9 month mailing, telephones many times .We open the engine for own overaul and see that the cylinder wall had to big bore, and a lot of others bad jobs.
A lot of wasted money, DONT BY Subaru STI engines from this Company !!!

Long story. Our Subaru Forrester blew its engine and turbo in January 2020. We were at a loss as it is our general purpose farm vehicle with tow bar and dog box that fits perfectly. We did buy another car but it was so bad we returned it within 3 weeks of purchase. Eventually we found Nippon who had the right engine from a newer Subaru model. Our car was collected exactly when they said it would be and then LOCK DOWN . We spoke regularly with Matt, lockdown guidance meant the work would wait, so we did . We were able to collect it early in June. Matt and team had done an excellent job and had it valeted to look like new . There was a small issue of glow plug failure in the replaced engine but all credit due to Matt who ordered and sent us 4 brand new glow plugs to be fitted at out local garage rather than a return journey to Derby( 5 hours round trip) When our local garage had fitted the new glow plugs we spoke again to Matt who refunded us more than half of the bill we paid to our local garage . Happily after driving our car now for 3 weeks, we are pleased to send this review. Matt was really helpful throughout the whole process, thank you very much.

Recently bought a classic Japanese imported Subaru Forester Turbo S from an elderly gentleman that was suffering from age related wear and tear, I couldn’t find parts anywhere, I found Nippon on eBay, asked a few questions, got a prompt reply, bought what I needed at 8am in the morning, parts were waiting for me when I got home the following day.
I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for reasonably priced used parts.

I took my Impreza to Nippon for them to fit a new engine a few weeks ago, having been speaking to them for a couple of months. They sourced an engine from Japan specifically for this job. After dropping the car, they turned it around in 3 days for me, keeping me updated throughout.
When I went to collect the car the guys were clearly busy, but had loads of time for me as I asked about what they'd done, any recommendations, plugging in the diagnostic so I could see it was all fault-clear etc etc. I don't tend to write reviews, but I was very impressed with Nippon's service from start to finish. Thanks guys.

I buy something on ebay but can't do a rating there (because of abort, see diwn here) so I do it here because the behavior of this seller definitely needs a high rating!
We need to abort the contract (post package damaged during transport and now it's only scrap) and the customer service afterwards was brilliant!
After immediately tell them the problem I received their messages and together we figure out the further process.
This all was uncomplicated, quick and way better than much of my other experiences!

Matt H. was exceptionally helpful beyond the call of duty ! It was. a pleasure to deal with him. Despite my several, possibly irritating telephone calls to him for advice he always gave the impression of being readily helpful with his patience and his practical advice which saved me a substantial sum of money. It was worth my travelling 300 miles each way to acquire from Matt the recycled component that I needed at a fraction of the cost of a new part, which was fitted by the official Lexus dealership as arranged by Matt on my behalf and then subsequently I was invoiced by Lexus at a discounted price negotiated on my behalf through Matt.
