Arrived at shop 23/04/2021. Door presents opening times and closes at 16:30. Only 30mins left. at 16:25 phone ready! I was amazed at the speed. Screen cracked.

It’s hard to describe the bitter disappointment caused by this company as a whole and this store in particular. I took my phone here in the belief that I will get a Class A service but my case turned out to be entirely different. Round 1: I took my phone to this store after it took some significant liquid damage. I tried to revive the phone myself and realised that it doesn’t really get any further than showing the Apple logo, so paying 20 pounds and taking two journeys to the shop was pretty much obsolete considering that they managed to come to the same conclusion in 2 days. Round 2: Choosing the Level 3 package seemed to be a good idea since I didn’t have the tools to fix the phone myself. The processing time for this as per said on their leaflet is 5 to 10 days. I admit that I popped into the shop after 5 since I had no progress reports whatsoever on where they are standing with the fix, so being told that it’s still in the central workshop wasn’t entirely surprising. Round 3: Surprise came when I went back after 10 working days only to hear that the phone is still in the workshop. Going to the shop for nothing appeared to be a persistent thing in this story, since another enquiry via email to the workshop and a phone call from me to the shop was necessary to figure out that the technicians in the workshop require my permission after 2 weeks(?) to begin with the process. Round 4: After another few days waiting the phone was sent back to the shop as fixed. The fact that the rear side camera wasn’t working tells pretty much otherwise. Taking it back to the shop, spending another hour waiting, then finding the technician still struggling with the phone after that hour was just the tip of the iceberg. Round 5: Camera fixed, the phone seems to be in working order. Until the screen goes blank and the phone doesn’t respond to a thing for minutes. After several emails to the store manager and the screen freeze the phone has developed right away, the solution seemed to be in my grasp as I was promised that the phone will be tested in my presence later on. Round 6: After All this time and being lectured about the complexity of such devices and the difficulty of fixing them, topped up by the workload they need to handle, by a Level 3 technician admittedly not working in this shop on a permanent basis, I went back again to have the immediate testing and fix done as promised by the manager, only to be told that they can do it in 2 to 4 days. Now, although I am very much aware that the attitude of certain employees, the total lack of communication and technical setbacks with the brand itself might not define the whole company, it is paramount to address these problems in due time. Especially, when technicians handle a device with brute force. As anyone can recall the first paragraph, the phone was sent in with liquid damage, which by no means, explains the screwdriver marks, the smashed-in shield on the logic board or the missing screw, as seen on the pictures uploaded and was seen by others as existing damage not caused by removing the screen, held by nothing but two tiny screws at the bottom of the phone.

Overpriced Quoted £20 and 10 days for water damage diagnostics. Went to Fixlocal South Kensington who did a free diagnostic, then fixed the faults within 1.5 hours all for £30.

Very very kind and knowledgeable staff, if they can't fix your problems, they'll always find someone who can. They are consistent with their times and provide full details on how to help. Out of the ismash stores I've visited, this is the most welcoming in my opinion

really disappointed with the service. I book a battery replacement on Black Friday. After been book a service just to be told after 2 hours that they did not replace the battery because they try with one of their batteries and they were not happy . They offer to replace at another day but not for the same price I had booked. not coming back again.

Everyone is familiar with the anxiety associated with having a broken iPhone these days! It derails your entire routine. It was such a massive relief to have it fixed so perfectly to brand new-like and in such a little time (the guys did it in literally under 10 minutes)!!! Had a battery replacement and screen repair on iPhone a few months ago. The replacement screen has problems - dead unresponsive areas and pressure sensitivity problems even with adjusting the settings. I noticed the poor battery life didn’t improve and I’ve recently had the iPhone inspected by another company who confirmed it was never changed. I wouldn’t recommend using this store.

I used the courier service and paid £220 for my ipad screen to be repaired. It has now been over 3 weeks and I have heard nothing. I have emailed customer services twice, tweeted and rang the shop multiple times and no one has been in touch. Leaving this review is my last resort. It was supposed to be a 48 hour turn around. Can you please resolve this for me.

Not the cheapest but a very good service. Screen wouldn't turn on so I booked a repair through their website and a courier to collect it. Courier came in an hour or two, iSmash repaired it in under an hour and my phone was back to me in another hour. Was without my phone for about 4 hours total and didn't have to leave my house. Fantastic. Note: iSmash are not able to source authentic Apple displays but the replacement is acceptable for my needs. Can tell a difference in colours and touch responsivness but only nitpicky can tell.

I cannot recommend iSmash Victoria highly enough. I visited without an appointment needing advice on how to replace a MacBook Pro battery.I am a 78 year old technophobe.I will not take time relating the whole saga but Lucian could not have done more to help me resolve my problem with patience and good grace.This is customer service at it's finest.

Screen with protector and battery replaced last October. Just had to have a new screen done locally as was coming apart. Given the current situation, impossible to take it back to iSmash. Not very impressed, to put it mildly.

Very impressed by the professionalism and courtesy shown by the staff at the Victoria Station store. They were very polite and friendly. They were up-front and detailed about the risks and possibility of damage during the repair. In the end, they dealt with a difficult repair producing a beautiful job in the time they specified. I could not be more pleased with the customer service experience I received from all the staff at this iSmash. Highly recommended.

The staff at Victoria are absolutely lovely, and contacted me as soon as my repair was complete. I have no issues whatsoever with the service I received from them. However, I was advised that I could pay by Klarna, yet was declined as well as several other customers whom were attempting to utilise this service. Usually I would not be bothered by such an experience, but it is somewhat off-putting to spend almost £500 on a laptop repair in one go. The fact that it was not just me having this issue suggests the problem lies with iSmash.

Visited the shop looking for advice on what was wrong with my phone. The technician gave clear advice and explained possible causes and risks. While I waited a number of other customers came in all were greeted in the same friendly way without any high pressure up-selling. Broke my phone screen whilst replacing the battery. Denied it on my return, lied and said they’d recorded in notes despite reviewing it in front of me and saying it had no damage, and then when challenged to show me the notes, they admitted it wasn’t recorded. Manager was supposed to phone me back didn’t. Complained to head office, no reply. I’d strongly recommend a different company.

Have been here 4x over the last few years. Usually for things that are my fault. Quick and helpful service. My iPhone 7 has been slow of late so I brought it in this morning for a battery replacement. They ran a 20 second diagnostic and told me my battery is still fine and that I didn’t need a replacement. That’s why I recommend these guys - the sales pitch could have easily been “but you’ll really benefit from a new battery which we can do.” Thanks.

I went into the store on Sat 4-Jun-18. I had an iPhone with a dead battery. I have previously used iSmash for fixed a smashed screen. As per usual the staff in store were extremely friendly, helpful and practical in how hey could help. I booked the phone in and the turn around was fast and my phone is now just like new. I would recommend using the Victoria store
