I had an awful experience here. In fact, more depressing than awful. Booked in online for a battery replacement on my Mac. Was offered this store and informed that the parts were in stock. I arrived at 5:30pm (the time slot I booked) and was told that as they close at 6pm (Sunday) and it was a one hour job they wouldn’t be able to do it. I kicked up a stink (why was the slot offered if they close at 6 etc) and he said he’d try to squeeze it in. Then I see him scrambling around in some storage cupboard. Eventually he sends a colleague over to explain to me that they don’t have the parts in stock. I replied that it says they do online. She said I’m lying as their system shows it’s not in stock.
I left before I fell to the floor and asked someone to chop my spine off - feeling such a miserable wasted state. The whole experience with travel to and from the store has wasted three hours of my wonderful life...

I'm afraid just pointing me to your customer service email isn't the answer here. I've already taken half a workday of my time to re-visit your store only to be turned away - if anything, YOU should be contacting ME PERSONALLY to resolve this. But in any case, your technicians told me that a new screen wouldn't fix the issue - and only THEN informed me that the screens are not Apple ones. I suggest you make this clearer on your website - i.e. that you're charging a premium price to install rip off parts on our expensive devices, which reduces the core functionality of the original product (not to mention voiding any official warranty the device has).
Original Review:
I got my iPhone 6s screen replaced about a month ago - and the touch screen has some erratic behaviour, juddering in a swirly line when trying to navigate in a smooth line on editing and gaming applications. This never happened on the original screen.
When I took my device in again to be fixed I was told the issue didn’t exist - even though I demonstrated the problem in store. Then they said in any case, there was nothing they could do. Turns out they don’t use Apple parts either - which I can’t see mentioned anywhere on their website. Would have been better off going to Apple, lesson learned!

Booked an appointment for an iPad 4th Gen screen replacement. Arrived and was told I will have to wait. Defeats the purpose of booking system. In addition I was able to select the colour White or Black. I wanted my screen placement to be black. Upon collection it was white. Was then told it was my fault and that there is nothing they can do about it and that should have clarified it. No offer of discount due to this.

Can't fault this place at all, had some bad experiences with phone repairs in the past but they managed fix my screen/LEDs and salvage the Touch ID in less than an hour, plus the price was way less than what I paid at local independent phone store. Technician zahid was honest about phone condition and incredibly helpful, well worth travelling to for phone repairs

AVOID!!! after spending £120 having my screen repaired my phone is in worse condition. If I could give minus 5 for workmanship & customer service I would.
I returned to discuss why my phones touch screen no longer worked since ISMASH replaced my screen... I was told the below 3 shocking facts / advise;
1) "Mac won't touch you phone now even if we tell you we're not at fault" as ISMASH are NOT Mac approved!
2) "you have an iPhone 7 so you should just get yourself a new phone"
3) and finally after a 18 hour wait, I was initially told my phone had been repaired... when I asked what work had been done I was told "our technicians said nothing wrong with your phone so no nothings been done'
ISMASH have awful technicians and terrible customer service.
Go to Mac first or at least a Mac approved store.

TERRIBLE service. Pre-booked an appointment for a screen replacement. The gentleman at the counter tells me that there's only one screen in stock and I have to wait about 1.5 hours to find out IF I can have it, because someone walked in earlier with the same problem and their phone might need it. The explanation itself does not make any sense and defeats the purpose of a booking system. The gentleman serving me was quite blasé about the whole thing "unlucky for you madam". What?!?!!! Needless to say I left.

As many others, I had an awful experience yesterday at this branch of Ismash. Booked online an appointment 1 week ago, when I arrived for replace the battery of my phone they said to me that they had just one battery and it was already booked for another customer and if I need it to be repaired the same day to try another Ismash. Luckily the one Ismash they referred me to, had the battery and was pretty fast to replace it too.

Very Disappointing, I brought I Samsung s7 phone to ismash Victoria to change the battery as I was draining very quickly they replaced the battery and then a few weeks later the battery phone died it would just hang on the Samsung screen they kept the phone for over 10 days only to me tell that they are not allowed to format the phone eventhou they asked me if they could. So I spent the cost of the battery plus £20,diagnostics just to tell me they can't fix it give these guys a wide berth feel roped off.

Appaling service!
After booking an appointment for a 30min repair (glass on an iPhone) I had to wait for more than 1h to then be told they still had not fixed it!! I could not wait as on a break from work. They offered to send the phone by courier to my workplace but it never arrived! They didn’t even tried to contact me (via email) to advise thier courier they offered could not come!! They just closed the shop!! They refused to send it home the following day as too far away but offered a £20voucher (like I’m going to use them again ????)
For what it should have been a 30min service I had to wait more than 24h!!

I am impressed with the iSmash team at Victoria Station. I was served by Chris first time. And Paula/Michael on second occasion. Both are a credit to your organisation.
I have needed two separate iPhones repaired over the last week. And the whole process has been good. Great website. Quick repairs. Good customer service. Great ambience in the shop (shop furniture, lighting). Flexibility in pricing - they applied my corporate discount but also took off a couple of pounds when requested.
Needing phone repairs is like going to the dentist. But ismash made it bearable.

It takes forever for them to trade in an phone. I have wasted a lot of time and energy traveling to the store. They promised it will be ready at 10:00 am and I came back and then they said it will be ready in the afternoon around 1:00 pm , I came back again, then they said it will be ready tomorrow. Really cannot trust the store!
