Was thrilled to find GDK near my new digs. Same impeccable flavour. The fact they were open for takeaways during Covid was a blessing. A must visit place. I definitely go there a couple of times monthly. Lots of choice. Reasonably priced.

Chef Konrad makes the best kebabs, always ask for him to make your orders, when he does them they are so good. Whenever anyone else makes them they tend to not be as good. 10/10.

Best restaurant in the area I would say. The ambience was good. The staffs were friendly. They had the perfect amount of fillings for the burger which I enjoyed a lot. I would rate it 5/5. Would definitely come again.

Their portions are huge! It is a paradise for meat lovers. It caters to small budgets and large budgets with equal satisfaction.

I've never eaten Kebabs in my life and I've always refrain buying it because of the greasy meat. My German friend introduced me to this German Doner Kebabs. He ordered takeaway and on my first bite I thoroughly enjoyed it. The doner mixed Kebabs was my favourite.

Ordered a very tasty take away yesterday. Didn’t take too long to arrive. Very reasonably priced, especially when compared with a Chinese or Pizza.
Initial impression was that the portions were quite small, but once out of the snazzy packaging, that wasn’t the case at all. Came with wipes which was nice.
Will definitely order again, but will request no plastic fork next time.

Came to try for the first time last week and really enjoyed everything about it. The food was incredible but the best part for me was the service I was given by one of the young girls. Her name was Faye and she really took the time to make sure my order was correct and that I had everything I needed. I could tell she really takes pride in what she does and it was really nice to see and experience that. Will definitely be a returning customer. Thanks Faye and thanks to the rest of the team.

Quick service and great interior design, the staff are friendly and the store has great corona virus management. The food is amazing and looks great. I would recommend this to fast food lovers as GDK serves fast quality food. The meat is tender and amazing

Great kebabs but damn they took SO long to make them! Been twice now and each time it was unbelievable how long it took to make a kebab. Beware it'll take at least 25 mins from ordering and it might not be hot when you get it. C+ could do better.

I am comparing this review to a branch in Leicester, the Loughborough branch seems to be completely different experience to the Leicester branch where the Leicester one is much better in quality of the food and taste, I have ordered twice for delivery and once a walk in take away all have been the box meals.
Differences as follows,
Loughborough:
Meat is dry and no flavour
Salad is disappointing more lettuce and red cabbage & only 1 - 2 pieces of tomato
and for the price the portions are way to small leaving you disappointed and not satisfied.
Finally with the spicy sauce your just better off using your own as the sauce has no heat to it not even a bit of warmth
Leicester:
Meat was juicy and flavoursome,
Salad a good balance of all the different components
I felt happy for what I was paying for price wise,
Spice levels were spot on with different levels of heat on how you wanted it.
If the management made those small changes and then it would be great hit.

Not going to lie but it is the best doner meat I've had, great service with the tracking devices to find your order when you eat in. We had the Family Feast between the two of us to try as much as possible on our first visit. The curry fries were really nice and so was the mixed meat quesadilla and the mixed meat original German doner kebab. It is a really nice place with halal meat although not our cup of tea. Will recommend for good quality for a good price and great customer service

Aggressive member of the "team".
I always go to my local GDK branch in Leicester however when I was in Loughborough and seen one I was over the moon.
I always share a wrap and a quesadilla with my partner. To do this we always get the wrap cut in half.
However the chef in the back after been asked to cut the wrap didn't, when the till staff was presented the wrap from the chef they asked for it to be cut again repeatedly seeing I was watching my food go cold, the chef waited about 5 minutes whilst getting aggressive to till staff about doing this simple task.
Probably wouldn't go back to the Loughborough branch.

The food was amazing, we had the junior meal deal and the boss box. We all left full 2 Adults and a Child. Some concerns about covid procedures but it wouldn't stop us coming back after a conversation with staff and they sorted it straight away.

I had my worst experience unfortunately. The doner was super cold and the chips was even worse. I only drove for 5 mins before I started to eat. I tried their diners and food in several other branches and it was always good. But, this time the staff might have been tired and aiming to clean and leave. I hope you guys can take this and improve your services.

Everything from the location, beautiful set up of the place, cleanliness, the staff and of course THE FOOD is a 5 star rating from me! Especially happy with the service! The girl who took our order was so calm, was genuinely smiling and was speaking clearly so it felt so good to be served by a person who actually likes what they are doing! The food was beyond words! Didn't think that a place like this serves vegetarian food but was sooo happy with the delicious options ❤️ Will definitely return + recommend!

Hey all. This German Doner Kebab really deserves the best welcome from the customers. The must try Krunch burger with Curry fries are so delightful. Doner spring rolls are their signature. Good service and their heartful food are their trademark.
