One of the staff member who came to me was not very customer friendly. He was talking to me as if I am a little kid. Went in to buy a laptop, i had already looked online, wanted to see how it looked in real life. Asked the member and was told that if not in shelf than not in the store. But few minutes later he says its in the store. I asked if I can have a look. He says "Do you want to buy or not?". Straight out the door I went without thinking twice.

They refused to look a printer I bought in September just because I didn't have the receipt despite returning the non working printer in Its original box with a box of ink I bought along side. Had to leave both the printer and the ink at the store

It's a decent enough store, except that over the years it's moved away from being a computer store to just a general electronics store. This is not a bad thing, it would just be nice to have a larger range of actual PC components and equipment in a store called "PC World". What they do have is not bad (from TVs to cameras), but the staff aren't as knowledgeable about any of it as you would expect

Went to Curry's PC world on old Kent road today to purchase a TV. I found the staff extremely incompetent, rude and unhelpful. They had little knowledge with regards to the products sold at the store. The staff are this store are young and extremely immature. I carried the TV myself to the till area and was suspected of stealing. After purchasing a TV and leaving I was chased by a security guard to make sure I didn't steal the TV.
In short it's a mess in there avoid at all costs!

I hate currys for big large buys. However a few years back I purchased a simple laptop (asus) and bought the insurance with it. Love the fact that they will pickup from door and also be able to drop it off at the store. For this type of things the service was brilliant, couldn't remeber any details of my purchase but thankfully they had all of that stored. Sent me texts and was able to track the whole process. The servers was great and helpful too.
