Alfie was nothing but a pleasure to speak to on the phone today. I suffer anxiety when making phone calls and therefore i can get worked up before making a call. Especially for something like car insurance, however, Alfie was so professional. He was calm, collected and spoke very clearly. He was friendly and even got me a lower quote. 1hr20 minutes before I spoke to the person I'd actually tried to contact, sent documentation but not reply confirming despite me asking. Documentation required they send to customers got send to a completely different email, only use them as they quote was well priced. Not great guys! Update, trying to ring on the 10/02/2019 and as shown below 46 minutes without my call being taken. Yet despite this the auto message tells me my call is important to them, what a shambles of a company!

Guy I spoke to Perry was really good, ran through everything really quickly and happy with the policy in the end as it was the cheaper than any other I was quoted. Only issue was that in total and before I got to speak to Perry I was bounced around various numbers and in total the call took 1 hour 30 minutes. Most of which on hold.

Shocking company to deal with. Cancelled my 19 year old son’s insurance without authorisation then tried to call us liars saying we had asked for it to be done. Now saying they won’t refund nearly £800 for 28 days despite their documents saying they will do so immediately. Don’t believe a word they say, taking advantage of young drivers who need help with their first insurance policy. Should be reported! Seriously, do not use this company. Pay a bit more if you can for a reputable firm.

I got a quote for motorcycle insurance on a comparison site. I needed to talk to someone about the policy. After holding for in excess of half an hour the switchboard took my details and told me someone would ring back....This did not happen. Rang the the next day. I was cut off ! Insured with Carol Nash.....It was slick and effortless. If I can’t talk to someone on the sales team the claims number would be horrendous! Poor. Very poor service.

Originally was happy with the price hence purchase easy enough to buy then service from their was horrid. Have 4 Months left on my policy and tried to cancel but cancellation fees that expensive cheaper to keep paying. Also took me ages to get any documents through or confirmation of some queries I had. Uploading documents was a pain also. Wrong choice insurance brokers I would say

I spoke to Lee today when taking out a new insurance policy. He was extremely helpful & had a brilliant phone manner. He gracefully highlighted some mistakes I made on my initial quote due to my dyslexia & amended those for me in order for me to proceed with a new quote. He took his time and was very patient when speaking with me. Whilst waiting for a little while to gather quotes, Lee continued to update me about the waiting time and was again very polite. He gathered the best quotes to suit me & ran through all the options available. Lee also added a discount not only to my overall policy price but also on my deposit which I am very grateful for. I needed to ring my bank to move funds around and Lee gave me the option to ring back to complete the policy or he could ring me back, which I opted for. Again he rang back in the given time frame and was extremely professional and polite. Having worked in telephone insurance myself, I can say that Lee is a testament to his company. Thank you for the great service.

Absolute cheats . I think their business model is to ensure that they reject your policy and without giving any cooling off period charge you a hefty cancellation charge . Even if you are not the one cancelling. To top it all off they will give insurance jargon in order to justify their cheating. And the biggest cheat in their office is Callum who has mastered the art of conning people

Shambles of customer service. Passed around all morning from pillar to post. Got hung up on twice. Had my policy cancelled and due a refund within 3-5 days. 2 weeks later still not had it. Was told it was processed 2 weeks ago and gave me a reference number and told me to call the bank to get my money. Did so and the bank said they have no payments made from this company. Then rang back waiting on hold for 30 mins before being transfered to 3 different people. Eventually got to the right people for them to say that it hadn't even been processed after confronting them with what the bank said. Absolutely lied through their teeth. Shambolic service. Also not a direct lender are only insurance brokers so be careful.

£ 320 charge for a change of vehicle, this is incomprehensible.. This service is more expensive than insuring the vehicle itself... Is it possible at all? For the change I charge £ 35 according to the contract, and they will make other fees as they see fit..no justification, no back table where the customer would see the fees that I charge extra... Incredibly!!!!!

There good until you need there help, then all they have is a switch board who can not answer questions. It’s amazing how this company even exists without communication. They take your money quick enough. I can not get a copy of my policy and they won’t email me one. I have now got legal advice and will be taking this further

Where do I start! So I took out insurance back in may on my old vehicle paid £300 deposit and £110 a month, in November I purchased a new car and called them to change over my vehicle they wanted an extra £100pm so obviously I couldn’t stay with them! I bought new insurance with someone else and cancelled this they said you have to pay us £150 to cancel this which clearly is daylight robbery anyway! But I said I will pay over 6 months they advised me was set up, then another man emailed me and said you need to pay the outstanding balance otherwise it’s going the debt collectors, I sent him the previous emails and said I have set this up! He then set up a new one! Apparantly! Then another person Conor George emailed me you haven’t set up a payment plan same messages I had previously I said I don’t used stand what is wrong with the people who work for your company!!! He said we will offer you a one off payment of £99 I said no! I can’t afford that! He then said split it to 2 payments I said no I wanted to stick to what I’d agreed! To my surprise today they lovely lad Conor has kindly taken £99 Which was never agreed out my account and left me with nothing! Then emailed me to say your agreement is finished thanks basically! Never ever ever ever use this company they keep your bank details and steal money out your account!!!!!

110% WRONG choice, avoid at all costs, otherwise it WILL literally cost you ! Went through them as I'm all about local companies etc but this particular company is a complete scam, I was insured for all of 1 hour before calling them, as requested to then be told they would need to cancel the policy and would be taking so much of the money. Please bare in mind, if I hadn't gone through a comparison site and rang them, they'd not have had a penny of mine to keep. The quote was roughly £404, they are refunding me £278... For AN HOUR if that !!! No 14 day cooling off period, APPARENTLY... money making scam at it finest !

This company is very unprofessional, they gave me a quote through a comparison site and took a deposit straight away from my account but then called me an hour later saying they can’t insure me at that price and the premium was gonna be much higher, so when I asked for my money back they said it will take 3-5 working days and as it’s a good Friday I won’t get my money till the following Friday at earliest or up to the Tuesday after that (nearly 10 days from now). They were quick enough to take the money but now to return it they need up to 10 days. Now I’m stuck without an insurance policy and because of the pandemic I don’t have enough money to take out a new policy until I get my refund. So I’m now without a car for 10 days. Now I can see from other reviews on this page this is a common company practise as several other customers on this site are mentioning the same thing that has happened with me

Got my car insurance with them, then the day before my policy was due to begin I received a "validation call. 45 mins into the call they said I had 3 claims that had come up on a data base that Id not declared? I've never made a claim in my life. They then said this was going to alter my price from £360 to £950. I obviously told them I wanted to cancel to then I was told that would be a £105 cancel fee for a policy Id not even started. Absolute crooks. When I put the phone down out of amusement I redid my quote on go compare and included the 3 phantom claims and my policy price still came out £500 less that the £900 they said on the phone. While on the phone I was continually put on hold at different times. I think they were discussing the best way to rob me. Avoid these people and suffer at your own cost if you go with them just because they are cheap. They offer the cheap price then find a way to bump it up. DO NOT USE!

Wrong Choice Insurance Brokers Had my first year with them on my bike and found out it was insured under the wrong name so I wasn't insured for a year. Then this year, I tell them I want to insure my bike for a month. I get told that I pay half of the price this month and half the next and that I would get a refund after cancellation. I go to cancel the insurance today but nope, they kept half of the money and said I had an outstanding debt of £16 on top of half of the years insurance. Crafty people, would avoid at all costs. Could only imagine how much they would help you if you were involved in an accident.

I am not very happy on the way my case was being handled. I paid £131.00 deposit for renewal and another £191.00 for cancellation of my car insurance which I am not using the car due to repair ( write off ). The response of the staff on initial advice was misleading ( renewal ) and it took so many days just to cancel the policy leaving me to pay more money- especially in this difficult time. I only wish this company should have understand on how the situation happened and assessed it completely with consideration. Now I am still paying on monthly payment agreement. I would not Recommend this company. I feel I was treated UNFAIRLY.

Obtained best quote from a comparison site, which led me to the RCIB website. Premium confirmed, but one option I chose was not in the summary. I phoned to check. Call was picked up reasonably quickly, but speaking to the receptionist, the line went dead. Second call got me through to the insurance advisor quickly and efficiently. He checked the quote and my option was included so I was ready to pay over the phone. Unfortunately I then spent another 15 minutes answering all the questions that I had already answered in the quote, so that was frustrating. However, the advisor was friendly, polite, doing his job, and easy to talk to, and the price undercut my Renewal quote from previous insurer substantially for the same cover.

Could not be more disappointed. After trying to change the motorcycle on the policy after 5 days. I was told that the current insurance company would not cover the new motorcycle. An alternative was offered but was not competitive in the least. My options are pay an extortionate amount to change or cancel, but I'd be charged to cancel.......the full cost of the policy plus £6.52. to make it clear, 12 months insurance for £109 or to cancel after approx. 100 hrs of cover, £109 + £6.52. Lesson learned here is to use companies that you know.

Bought an insurance policy for my new car back in Feb, then had an email asking for drivers license and check codes for myself and my wife (we are separated) and they cancelled the policy because my address is different to that of my wife (again we are separated but on good terms). I had a text from them saying policy cancelled. Close brothers continued to try and take a monthly premium, and then RCIB took a further £209 from my account, despite paying a deposit which covered my time under cover, and a paid a further amount to put my number plate on. Over all the policy has cost me over £350 for 3 weeks cover!!!!

Two words sum up this company, SHARP PRACTISE. shortly after paying for the policy, you will get a phone call to validate what you have just put down on the application! After reading other reviews, they are looking for you to make a mistake at recalling what you have put down, and what you can recall, so they have an excuse to 'adjust' the policy. 15 days after I had gone through this process, (note its over the 14 day cooling off period) I get an email saying they need photos of my licence, any named drivers licenses, and a dvla check code so they can check my driving record, or they will cancel my insurance, without any refunds no doubt! I have never had to jump through so many hoops just to get car insurance! I sent the necessary details, then they try and trip me up by saying the address details are incorrect on my named drivers licence! She has lived at the same address for 30 years! It seems like another ploy as they know they have got you over a barrel, as to cancel will cost you more than the original policy cost! Everyone who has a bad experience needs to report them to the insurance ombudsman, and when the complaints start piling up, maybe they will take notice and do something about the 'cons' this company tries on!

They were the cheapest on the usual comparison sites, so I bought a policy through them. Couple of days later they messaged to say they were going to cancel my insurance because of some discrepancy they’d found. (I’d mistakenly told them I’d bought the car in 2013 when I’d actually bought in 2014) They wanted £136 more or they’d cancel, which would incur additional cancellation costs. But more importantly would adversely affect future policies! Apparently they do this regularly. Seems to be their business model. Rude staff too because they know they’ve got you over a barrel. *AVOID*

Had been given a quote that seemed Great at first! Then a phone call 2 weeks later, up it went £100, then a week after that... up it went again £60, I ended up paying £160 more then the original quote monthly? Then they charged me £60 to change my address? I get the impression the company do not care about there clients just the money that is coming in.

I wish that i had read the reviews here before spending my money with this excuse for a company! Poor customer service right from the start, after payment! Poor communication! Unnecessarily long phone calls! Staff not knowing what they are doing. Threats to withdraw cover if documents that they hadn't asked for were not uploaded to their portal! They couldn't even send my documents to my normal email address! I only hope that I don't need to deal with them again until my cover runs out next year! Avoid!

This company is a utter shambles! Took out car insurance, then requested to upload proof of no claims and licence. Absolutely fine but then tried to upload several times! There system wasnt working they said, so called several times. Then received an email informing me my insurance will be cancelled due to no documentation being uploaded. So called the company again to sort documents! Was told id get a call back at 3pm,that call never came! They called back 2 days later after the date of the cancellation!!! I had to find a new insurance company for my car only to then have a following call a week later informing me i owed them £151 for the cancellation fee etc! This company seriously need to sort themselves out and absolute shambles from start to finish!

Do yourself a favour and stay well away from this company!!!! I am 110% sure you will find a better deal somewhere else! We ve insured our car with them but cancelled immediately after realising how expensive they are, they didn't care about customer's right to cancel within 14 day (in our case 24 hours) and now they ve put debt collector on our case!!!!! Please research, research, research before you buy anything from them!!!!

Avoid at all costs!! If there was a minus star option, I would definitely give it to this company. We took out our car insurance with them following a quote on a comparison site. Unfortunately, the price they quote is not the price you pay - that is much higher. The cancellation fee during the 14 day cooling off period is so high, you feel you are forced to stay with them. They ask more questions than MI5 and then threaten to cancel your insurance when you can't get through on the telephone to answer them. We were forced to change our car within a couple of months of being with them and the price they quoted was almost three times what we were quoted by the AA. In the end, we took the hit and cancelled our insurance after 7 weeks to go with another company. Of the £285 paid for a year's insurance, we will receive £53 back (in 30 days) after they have deducted all of their fees. Please do not use this company. They need investigating for their shoddy practices. I can only assume that the positive reviews on here are written by employees and friends. I do not believe for one minute that anybody who has had insurance through them has anything good to say about them.
