FIVE STAR REVIEWS ARE FAKE! We are all having the same experience with this 'company'. BEST THING TO DO IS EMAIL Compare the Market and Citizens Advice Bureau and get this company taken off of all of these Insurance websites. LETS ALL TAKE ACTION If I could give a no star review, believe me I would. I took a policy out with this company only to find out that they cancelled my policy only after a week of paying my deposit. No explanation, nothing. In the email they cancelled my policy, they left a contact number only to be put on hold for three hours on four different occasions. They never answer the phone number that they provide you. I managed to call a different number that was on their Google page and spoke to a member of their 'Sales' team but of course - Louise-Rose didn't know a single thing about my policy or could event explain to me what the issue was. As a result, she said to me that she would push for a call back WHICH NEVER CAME I emailed Compare the Market and threatened legal action, which I am making the correct steps for. Right Choice of course after this had to give me a call back to tell me that they're not cancelling my policy (BECAUSE I CONTACTED COMPARE THE MARKET) even though they have repetitively sent me numerous documentation, saying that they have cancelled my policy etc. In terms of deposits, I am aware that they don't give back deposits due to the fact that "they don't have the money" which is an impossible incorrect statement to make as an insurance company. Contact your banks and explain the situation and the banks also have the legal power to pursuit this case and also have the capacity to chase your deposits against this company. In terms of debt collectors they only threaten this when they are unable to take a "cancellation fee" from your account. If this is pursued correctly and professionally, we all have nothing to worry about. Do not allow this company to rob us all of our hard earned money. This is a matter which is being dealt with professionally from my side and I suggest we all pursuit professional action.

Well I have read some of the reviews on here and mostly are bad but my experience was professional and really helpful I was talked through my policy so it was true and accurate. I was really pleased with the outcome i little more expensive but not majorly a few pound up but not far off what I was quoted. My advisor was a great I'm very pleased and this review is far from fake. Thank you right choice guys smashed it

Non professional bad customer service and I’m stuck for a whole year There manager Tendai Nyika was not helpful at all Do not purchase from this company save your money and go elsewhere and save the stress

>>ZERO STARS<< They stole my money This company is a SCAMMER. Completely unprofessional. I purchased through a comparison site. They were the cheapest option. My insurance details has always been the same there’s been no changes year on year. I’ve had no problems in the past. This company a week after taking payment said I needed to validate my insurance. I called up and they were asking a million questions trying to catch me out. They then cancelled my insurance saying that they couldn’t provide me insurance because of some technical reason. They claimed I needed business insurance which I have never needed previously. They also said I needed more mileage which was 3 times as much as I use the car. I paid for my insurance in one lump sum of just under £600. I was insured for 7 days and the cancelled it and are refunding me just £450!! This company is repeatedly scamming customers and they should be ashamed of themselves. They said they will refund me in 30 days which has left me with no insurance and no money to pay for it elsewhere. I’m now out of work with no car because of them. When I was trying to get through to them I had to wait a long time and when speaking to them they sounded really dodgy. I wish I never even went with them because now I have a record of “cancelled and voided” policy which reflects badly on me and my insurance premiums have gone up. It’s just completely unjustified and unethical what the are doing, Please do not use this company.

I found them through comparethemarket and paid for my policy of insurance. They took the money and issued the documentation by email. Initially things were fine. As expected. I then got a "reminder" text message to my phone warning me to contact their validation team or my policy would be cancelled. I rang them and didnt get through to anyone. A polite but useless receptionist promised me someone would call me back. No return call and I got another text. I rang again, same thing. A promised return call. Nothing. A third text message and I did eventually get to someone and they "validated" the policy. What a waste of time and effort but now it was done. Finally. Two weeks later, I get 3 text messages telling me they wanted a copy of my drivers licence, NCB and some form I had no idea what it was... but I didnt think I had it. Great, I had to try and contact them again. Several calls later and loads of time on hold, I eventually get a snotty girl trying to imply that I was responsible for failing to return documents I was never asked to produce. I gave them my driving licence number and they validated it there and then. The proof of NCB didnt apply as the bike is a classic and is not on the same scheme as normal bikes. This was accepted. The third issue was to do with a form I was meant to return. I explained I didnt know what this form was and if they could point me to where this form is, I would return it but it wouldnt be today (Saturday afternoon) and she interrupted me and told me that if I didnt, the policy would be cancelled. I explained to her this would be a breach of contract as I dont even think I have this form and if I do, I dont know where it is and it isnt reasonable to give me no time to address it. She told me the policy would be cancelled if I didnt get it. I told her that I would take her to court if she did cancel it and when she cancelled it, I asked for the reason was because I had not returned this last form.... I was never asked for it, nor do I believe I ever had it and its simply unreasonable to expect an instant ability to fix it without any notice at all. I issued my claim with the Small Claims Court the next day for all of my money back, plus costs. Tomorrow is the last day for this shambles of a company to respond to the claim and I doubt they will and I will apply for Judgement in Default. Utter shambles. Rubbish customer service, rubbish ability to speak to anyone, rubbish in addressing issues and treated me like I was a criminal. Well, court is the outcome for them because of their unbelievable conduct. Avoid at all costs. ***Update, the admitted my claim at the last opportunity*** They would not have done this unless I took legal action. Avoid. With respect to the comment below, I do not trust your company to "investigate" anything. The courts are needed to kick you back into line. Shambles.

Had a renewal quote and purchased it online, called me to validate the insurance, and I had an accident which wasn’t my fault and RCI tried to convince me it was my fault so they can put the insurance up, I’ve got the documents that I am not at fault. Still they charged me more, rip off. This will be my last from them. The customer service advisor wasn’t professional at all, he was rude type.

Its now gone over the renewal date and i have to now pay another deposit to get my car insured....overall this company is by far the worst ive come across with. I would highly recommend everyone not to use this company as you will be terribly disappointed

Complete rip off they will sell you policy for cheaper price, increase the price once you have bought the policy and if you want to cancel the policy they will charge you £60 for cancellation of the policy which hasn't even started. Stay Away from this company!!!!

Iv had my car insurance with thus company for 2+ years only to find out now I can't insure my new car because its a bmw apparently the insurance company right choice selected decided they won't insure Audi or Bmw from now on. Ironically I'm insured on a bmw at the moment with them. Then they have the cheek to ask me to pay a cancellation fee for something they should have notified me about.

I was given a policy for my motorbike which was quoted for 1100 pounds after paying deposit they called me and said after reviewing the policy it went to 1330 pound and after financing it went to 1780 pound. But funfact is I came to know about all this stuff after first month and when i asked them to cancel the policy they are charging me 580 pound for cancellation Absolutely ridiculous

Jessica was very good no fault there what so ever, it was the whole process of trying to renew my policy with you.. First email for renewal quote was £101 this year, a increase of about £35. So I went to go compare put in my details quotes came through Right choice £69.98 followed by 2 others about same amount then others increasing to £100+. That was with entering a S10 conviction going through a red light, 3 points £66 fine. Was amazed with right choice increase of a few pounds . From that point is when it went drastically down hill. Hit the quote on go compare as was advised to ring. First time rang over 15mins to get answer after pressing so a few buttons on the phone to get to I thought was a advisor to be put on hold for a further 10+mins to arrange for call back no call back. Today did exactly same the amount of time through 2 other advisors and arrange call back. Jessica was very good but its the time scale of going through all my details was stupid as all details are in front of her. Again dont think it was her fault just scripted . End result was £69.48 for my policy. Which i am happy with. It was time and frustration to get there. Cannot fault Jessica defiantly 5 XXXXX service Just right choice as a company would never recommend if there was a zero score they would have it. Why not send your best quote first off to renew, instead of me having to waste my time finding it. As you can tell from this review I am not happy. As before as I said Jessica was excellent worth 5Stars shame about the other 4 advisors I spoke to before. And Right Choice trying to scam £35 more for the policy on a renewal. And Jessica if you get the chance to change brokers go for it got you have to be worth more. Tony Lee

I detest this insurance company.. BEWARE THEY SCAM YOUR MONEY.. KNOWINGLY TOOK AND KEPT MY DEPOSIT.. I was on cover for one day and kept my full deposit.. The customer service team is an utter joke. PLEASE DO NOT USE AT ALL COSTS .. pay a little bit more and get a better quality of service. They also sent me documents for a household insurance cover that was in my name but not my address. Charged me for this last year. This company needs investigating by the bureau of insurance.. I will be happy to give all details.. DISGUSTED BY THE COMPANY AS A WHOLE !!!

I have never used RCIB as a broker. I have I had to cencel my policy initially, however after using their website to compare quotes I found a cheaper quote there. I spoke to Shane who was extremely helpful and polite who tried his best to resolve the issue I had. I would like to thank Shane and his management for being efficient and flexible to my requests. The only downside I'd say is the switch board and whoever answers the phone after that is very poor. I was transfered to every section possible to get my query answered. From sales to validation to switchboard (numerous times), customer care and going back and forth. It's definitely not good customer service.

My second year of insurance with RCIB. I think the best strength the company has to offer is the advisors. No matter who you speak to, I have always found them go above and beyond to try to help. Plus it's the cheapest insurance I was able to find even after looking over a 2 month period so that's a big win!

If I could give them no stars, I would. AVOID THESE COW BOYS AT ALL COSTS!!!! I had 12 months insurance out of this awful company and tried to renew only for them to tell me, no, because I had a cancellation on my policy which I declared 12 months before only for their sales agent to lie and sell me a policy which stated that I had zero cancellations against me. They cancelled my new policy and tried to again pin a cancellation on me for their lies. After all this happening I'd already paid 150 to them which they refused to refund and tried to bill me for cancellation fees. I took this to the Financial ombudsman and then RCIB contacted me to offer me my full refund on the grounds that I shut down my claim with the FOS. I refused and got compensation from these cow boys. An absolute embarrassment to the car insurance industry. Don't back down to these jokes they will try everything so that they are calling the shots and not having to pay any more than they can get away with and believe me they will start low and completely try to rip you off. Thanks for the compensation RCIB haha and the extras you wasn't supposed to send.

Absolute shambles of an Insurance company, not professional at all, call for anything whether it be changing the insured vehicle or updating anything on the account, then be prepared to be left on hold for over 30 minutes. They don't care about the consumer they just care about what they want to do and the consumer doesn't come first. If you value yourself as an individual stay clear of this company, they are an absolute nightmare. Not easy at all to do business. If i could give a negative star review i would.

got the best qoute online which i felt was probably too good to be true. Paid for the insurance and payment went through. After a few hours, got an email stating that they were trying to call me and that the insurance would only be approved after having a converstaion with the sales team. I did not recieve any calls. I called them multiple times for about 3 hours and it all ended to be going to giffgaff voicemails. (these are multiple phone numbers on their website). I then went on google to to read the reviews and saw how woeful the company is and that some customers were reporting them to the trading standards. I got into a panic thinking my money is gone, no insurance and no one to talk to. I then sorted my insurance with insure the box online- max 15 mins and all got sorted. These guys then call me in the evening telling me they had not tried to call me and not aware of the email they sent me. I had mentioned the above and tried to cancel my unapproved insurance with them. The person was forceful and rude stating I bougt the insurance from them. Whilst I was trying to relay all the above information. Till this moment I have not received any email and am worried about the refund. Kindly avoid this company to save your time.

Absolutely disgusting company. Almost £300 admin fee for changing vehicle over. I asked for business use on my policy at the initial phone call, this was not given to me. Ring up to change this and they demand that I pay almost £350 to change this. Attitude of the woman on the phone stank too. I am a single parent, trying to get through university, lost my job in the pandemic but money is all they care about. Wouldn’t ever EVER go with this company again, even if it were given for free!

Absolutely do not take out a policy with this company on a comparison site, I paid in full on website and was then asked to contact them. After nearly an hour of being put on hold and questioned constantly I was then told it would cost me a further £300 on top of what I had paid. I then tried to invoke 14 day cooling off period and was told in the small print you still have to pay an admin fee and because they insisted on calling my driveway a road this constitutes as a change to policy and a further charge so all in all it’s cost me £120 just to cancel it as I point blank refused to stay with a company who are falsely advertising prices on a comparison website to hook you in and con you out of even more money. Tried to complain and still waiting for someone to come back to me..7 weeks and counting and still nothing Update: having now had the opportunity to complain my monies have been refunded in full

Staff are all polite, friendly and very helpful ( especially the lady who dealt with me today). But getting through to a staff member is absolutely ridiculous. On numerous occasions I’ve been on hold waiting for over an hour at a time. When I do finally get through, you get put on hold again and then you start the whole waiting process again which I do not have the time to do.

So my Son used gocompare to buy car insurance. He opts to take it with rcib, not unreasonably believing this is the insurance provider. They turn out to be a broker. They take a large deposit from him and then send an e-mail claiming there is a discrepancy but don't say what that is. He checks and finds all his details are correct and so rings them to ask what the discrepancy is. It takes 45mins before he speaks with someone and they are unable to clarify this discrepancy (and at this time of writing, still haven't), but direct him to a webpage where he can access his policy details. This webpage flags up as unsecured and asks for his bank details to allow him to log in. Now who, at this point, would think anything other than suspicious and unsafe? Seriously?! What's wrong with username as e-mail address and a password sent to that e-mail address for verification like everyone else? He decides it is not smart to proceed further with this log in or this company and, since he is still within the 14 day cooling off period, decides to cancel with them. He does this by e-mail and they reply he can't do it this way, he needs to log in to the dodgy webpage with his bank details. He rings to complain this is not satisfactory or safe and he has fulfilled his obligation by cancelling in writing, an e-mail they admit they have received. In the end they agree it is cancelled and take 3 days of insurance from him and then charge £117 for a cancellation fee, agreeing to refund the remainder. Several days later he still has no refund. I then see all the google reviews on this company and it's clear they are actively operating a sharp practice to deceive people and then make money from cancellation fees. He has never seen his policy details and cannot access them securely, if at all now. We are awaiting a reply from gocompare for their view on the matter. A complaint has been lodged with this company. Next stop, the ombudsman (unless they apologise and refund his money).

They don’t price match, every other company was £100 cheaper than them so I had to cancel my insurance with them when I purchased a new car. This ended in me having to pay £120 just to cancel! All over terrible customer service & over priced. Would give 0 stars if I could. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
