Worst service ever. Signed up to a policy stating 3 years NCB. No specific options for car/van. When validating over 14 days later was made aware that van NCB was not applicable. Only then to find out I had to pay £200 to cancel the policy that wasn't even validated. The guys on the phone were useless too it took ages.

They cancelled my first policy stating I did not send them my driving licence, which I did. That cost me a deposit, then I got pulled driving by the police whilst I had a disabled client in my car as I'm a care worker, we were going to the hospital for his jabs. The cop was going to impound my car but chose not to. So because of their actions I could have had my car took and 6 points on my licence. I never even got an email stating they were taking action. They had my phone number aswell. I was very stressed out in the police car and when I sorted new insurance out I never thought I went with the cheapest on the site and it was these again. They took 240 pound deposit of me waited an hour to call me and started asking millions of questions, where I kept my car asking for photos of everything. They asked if I received any benefits, to which I said yes even though I'm a care worker, I get in work benefits, they then said I was in breach of the rules they do not cover people on benefits and they would cancel the insurance. So in all they had over 500 pounds from my bank account in a 2 week period. I've got to wait 4 weeks for a tiny refund of 140 pounds and I can't afford to cover my car till I get the cash back, as I use my car for work I've lost income.
If you do 5 mins of research on this company you'll see they are not to be trusted. It seems they tend to make alot off cash from cancelled covers.
I've pleaded for my cash back yet just got cheek on the phone, I'm seeking legal advice and checking my options. Please just because it seems easy on the comparison sites to get cover from these scam artists they will wait 4 days and start problems or ring straight away and cancel it then make a fast hundred or so. Go with a more mainstream company, one with ethical people working for them.

Avoid avoid avoid! Trying to be cheap and not doing full research I chose these guys from a price comparison sites not realising they are actually a middle man. When I phone my car insurance I was already with to cancel, they matched then beat this price. I then phoned Right Choice back to cancel as it had literally been 5 mins and I hadn't even received any paperwork yet. Right Choice told me it would be a £60 cancellation fee! I advised them I was within my rights of them cooling off period and I hadn't even received my policy etc. They "spoke to manager" then advised me they'd refund it on this occasion. Absolute balogna! They knew fine well I'd take them all the way. I managed to get my money back but even if I hadn't I still would have cancelled. It's the principle! Avoid them!

Avoid at all cost. They first give you a low offer and after you signed with them they will look for reasons to increase your payment. They told me that my monthly mileage is 1k based on their Jan- March 2020 assessment. Told them that I was travelling from Bath to Wolverhampton to visit a sick friend. After that I musta drive normally to work and home. At the end I just have 6k mileage the whole year. Ask for a refund to no avail.

I called up RCIB as my vehicle insurance is up for renewal.
My call was answered by an agent called Billy who went above and beyond to give me the best service possible.
If I had any questions, Billy would take the time to answer them and if I was unsure of something he would take his time and ensure I understood what I asked.
I didn’t get Billy’s second name but if you come across this agent, try sort out any issue you have with him as from my own opinion he’s one of the best call handlers I've come across.
+ to top it off I had a saving of £500+ on my renewal.
Billy is the man!

Got my car insurance with them, then I received a "validation call. An hour into the call they said I had 2 claims that had come up on a data base that I’d not declared? I had declared these on the compare site that transferred the data to them.They then said this was going to alter my price from £725 to £2500 because I am, and I quote directly from the man ‘a liar’. I told them I wanted to cancel then I was told that would be a £105 cancel fee for a policy I’d not even started. I had paid the policy upfront online, they have now sent me a text message stating that my refund will be £105 short and in the next 30 days! 30 days for a refund and they’ve stolen part of the money for absolutely nothing!! DO NOT USE!

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! Crooks every one of them. Any positive reviews on here are inside jobs. Even if you give clear proofs they asked for they will rob you of another few hundred on top of quote. If you see the words"INSURANCE VALIDATION" you are buggered.... it means "we want more of your money!!!" You are trapped by paying first two months. First will not answer calls and when they do will put you on hold and pass you back and fourth and claim they are speaking to underwriters and lies upon lies will be told. These scammers set the time limit to cancel your policy in 7 days not allowing you to get the ridiculous requested information.

They will never ask you any thing the first 14 days .so they . So if you make the mistake just make sure you call them with that 14-days so you have a time to cancel your insurance if they miss around.

These guys are extremely unprofessional and unethical in their terms and conditions.
I signed up for insurance and wanted to cancel within 14 days (because their extremely rigid documentation requirements that are almost designed to put customers off). When trying to cancel, they told me that a policy that I'd paid £120 for, would only result in a refund of £12 despite requesting to cancel within 14 days! Sign up with them at your peril. The regulator needs to investigate this company for such unfair and predatory terms.

Recently had a policy cancelled and all my deposit has been robbed by them and they come up with nonsense charges such as time of risk while driving, then something like risk of living as a human being, risk of breathing in your vehicle, cancellation fees, all of these fancy named charges to rob its customers once their policy is cancelled. Definitely not professional one staff had a go at me for asking for my refund. I do not even want to give them any stars really poor customer service. Bear in mind these charges come up in the end. Beginning they happily assist you however after their done with you they make sure to have the audacity to say its a goodwill gesture that we are not charging you 54 pence!!!!! Well trained to rob the British public.Thanks RCIB FOR SHOWING YOUR TRUE COLOURS. NEVER TO RECOMMEND TO ANYONE. There is alot of brokers out there that actually take care of their customers.

Price quoted on comparison sites are lower for a reason!!
Had a quote for £599.00 and as other reviews have mentioned, got a call and the person on the side made changes to policy without my consent and "assumed" the answers rather than probing. Corrections were submitted and guess what? premium went up by £140....
I asked for cancellation as the policy was due to start in 20 days time and was told to cough up £105 cancellation fee.
I have raised a complaint with FCA as their business practices are not professional and not in line with business ethics or even their competitors.
Also keep in mind that when using any comparison site, the data transferred to RCIB is not complete or this is what the claim.

Insurance taken out via Gocompare, for just over £100, I admit I made an error getting the proposer and named driver the wrong way round. RCIB wanted extra £148 to change. Ended up having to cancel the policy after 2 days costing me £61.42 and told that balance of refund would take 6 weeks. Absolute sharks

They provide terrible customer service with disinterested staff who repeatedly place you on hold for the most basic of tasks. The terms and conditions are riddled with unfair charges.
They take charges from your debit card without your authorisation and refused to refund them.
They are charging me a cancellation fee for a policy THEY are cancelling after I moved a few hundred yards down the road, claiming the insurer doesn't cover my new address. This is in the same postcode area. How can a termination charge be fair in those circumstances?
Avoid like the plague, just a money hungry bunch of scammers. Go with a reputable company instead, don't be stupid enough to ignore the bad reviews like I was, you will regret it!
