Incredibly buggy, frustrating customer service which will make you wait for nearly an hour each time you call them. After ages of waiting, they got my issue wrong, reset my account password for no reason, and couldn't solve the actual issue and told me to call back on Monday. I try to login and the account doesn't work because the password was reset and can't be changed online due to "security reasons". So now I'm going to have to call them again, wait another hour or so to resolve this issue. Loads of bugs in the interface as well. I'm waiting to resolve some other issues on my account and giving a 3 stars first. If they can't be resolved, I'll update this review to one star.

Incompetent, almost impossible to communicate with them. Get left holding on forever if you phone. E-mail doesn't work, you get a "technical problem, please try later" message. Even when you finally make contact, took me one month, they do not take any action. As you can see from all the complaints by other customers, they just don't care. Don't touch this company!

i made an order for a small number of warrants and then it purchased me $23000 worth and account was minus. tried calling them to sort this error out and nobody answered for 65 mins. lousy customer service. super slow and full of bugs

This is most likely the worst broker I have ever worked with. Their support team sucks as much as it can. They are completely inefficient answering to clients' queries and they took as long as 4 weeks to open my account. Do not recommend.

Unfortunately Interactive Brokers fails the FCA Handbook and its rules for fair treatment and clear communication with customers. It is also required to not mislead the customers. The company has structural problems as tickets, documented requests, and forms are being dropped at will or ignored. IB UK responsible staff often act as figure-heads for the substantial decisions made elsewhere (US, Switzerland). TWS platform is outdated, slow, crashes and experiences issues with connectivity — help or compensation for loss of connectivity will be flatly refused.

Super slow at answering calls. Long Long Long waiting call times. I spent 78 minutes holding then later gave up. Comon on what company does that and then on top of that dont ever apologise? They are so arrogant incompetent and undependable. They want you to make mistakes on orders so then they can take advantage. Super slow, Stay away plenty of other better brokers out there that actually care about the customers

I would put 0 if I could. This company should be banned, in particular because it is a financial one with fiduciary duties. I had opened an account with them and forgot my password. I reached customer service by call (more than an hour wait and no one picked up) and email (more than one month and no response). Is there someone in their customer service team? I am glad I haven't put any money with them. Beware and do not trust this company to manage your money.

very very slow. i am staying with account pending for almost 2 weeks and no progression at all. they don't have resources to review new aplications. this mean not enough money. if they keep people holded when they want to open account you can imagine how long time will need to wait for money when people will want to withdrawal. just don't give them your details and attention. they don't diserve

Tried to ask a question by form mail. 5 minutes later and Im stuck and unable to send it.. So then I tried to phone them on the number in this listing on Google, but it says it's an incorrect number. If the customer "service" is this terrible just trying to find out some basic things imagine what it's going to be like when you have a large position and need immediate assistance with something....

Over 6 hours technical issues!!! The exchange opens and they have technical issues. Means you cannot open the TWS oder the Website and make any trade!

Misrepresentation and misleading information made by the useless Customer Services' phone team of Interactive Brokers; IB's complaints team does not want to take responsibility for it and refuses to understand that I would never have opened an IB account if I had been properly informed of their fee structure, when I repeatedly asked about it to Customer Relations' people back in June 2019. Since we are at a deadlock, and Interactive Brokers is stubborn in its stupidness and horrendous service, I will file a complaint and claim with Financial Ombudsman Services soon. Avoid at all costs, opening an account with them will only lead to disappointment and frustration.

I placed a withdrawal request on 15/07/2019 and the funds have not been released yet despite their same day withdrawal promise during account sign up. I made an offical complaint two weeks ago and haven't heard from them. Their customer service is a waste of time. My significant savings are captive in their account so please do not trust this company. I am puzzled how they got heir FCA license and am confident this will be questioned when I make a complaint to Financial Ombudsmen.
