Personally, one of the best apps I've used.
It's easy to navigate, quite simple to use, great deals to gain even more money into your account, friendly, professional and responsive online help.
Moneybox has really made investing for me easy, I have always wanted to invest and think about my future and by putting little bits of money aside it's has made it easy for me to do without even thinking about what I am doing.
I could talk and talk and talk about how good Moneybox is. But as I've said... It's ones of the best apps I've used - I rave about it to my mates and trying to get them involved.

Solid app. People need to understand that losing money is part of investing especially in a market as volatile as the one we're currently in. However people need to think long term, you keep your investment long enough youll make money.
EDIT: just to confirm my reasoning. 13th April i was down £13. 1 May im up £31. If i was hasty like the other commenters i would have cashed out and been down money. Remember people, patience is key.

This account has been extremely useful for saving for our first home. It’s easy, worthwhile & reliable. I can’t stop recommending it to friends and family who are like us wanting to put money aside for this reason. It’s very encouraging to have your interest paid throughout the year and to see this reflected in your account. From my experience it’s been much better than the help to buy saving account.

I opened a LISA with Moneybox due to the best interest rates, was a bit worried as a new and online service and I wasn't too familiar.
However, they have provided me excellent customer service with really quick replies and really helpful and friendly staff - always ready to answer questions.

Their app is great, they are responsive and it is great for saving. But avoid their mortgages, the MIP process is great but the next step with a mortgage advisor was particularly unhelpful and they were somewhat condescending. They wanted far too much information to just get a rate, far more than competitors so I went with another provider instead.

I opened a lifetime ISA with Moneybox as it had the best interest rate at the time. At first I was slightly sceptical as I'd never heard of them and it was all online but everything couldn't of been easier. I loved the option to do round ups from your bank account to make it easier saving. Unfortunately I've now had to withdraw funds but it was really simple to do and the money was with me in 1 day. I emailed customer service a couple of times and they came back to me immediately, I was really impressed. Thanks!

The moneybox app is amazing! It has so many different options such as roundups and payday boosts. There's also some really cool features for different accounts to show you how your money builds over time. I have never found it as easy to save money!

Joining Moneybox was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

Iv never been able to save money, Iv always found it frustrating especially knowing where to start. Since Iv been using this app though I’m finally in a position to start thinking about a more financially stable future, for me, my children and my business. So it’s been a massive change for me, you don’t even notice the spare change come out of ur account but it adds up quickly. I just wish I started using it years ago, game changer!

Really modern and streamlined financial provider, with many accounts available! I have no gripes, but the only thing they fault on is simplicity. Some screens are buried in others, the helpful ones with graphs are hidden away and ISA contributions have a convoluted process.
Some more simplified screens, with cleaner ways to represent data would earn a 5th star from me. Either way, I would highly recommend Moneybox. They're a great company offering top of their class services.

Everything seemed incredibly good until it came to withdrawing funds ...
it was not made clear when I opened the lifetime ISA account that if there is to be a penalty when withdrawing if the terms are not met, this is deducted from the full amount in the account.
I have struggled for 8 years to save up £20,000 as a deposit for a house. I am lucky that my partner earns well so we have been able to proceed on a house with a sale value of £455,000. My share of the property is less than 20% due to the deposit amount I was able to put forwards.
A large chunk of my £20,000 deposit was coming from the amount I have been tirelessly saving in my Moneybox account for the last 2 years.
The cut off amount to receive any form of bonus on the account is that the house has to be £450,000 or less. As our property is a fraction over this I am now being penalised 20% of the total amount in my Moneybox account.
This means I will not receive the full amount that I have deposited into the Moneybox account and I have now lost money.
I am now scraping together as much money as a possibly can to make it up to the £20,000 deposit I need to complete on our dream home. This is going to be a real struggle as the lost amount is almost £2,000.
I wish I had kept my money in a bank where it was secure and I would have been able to take the full amount of my deposits back out again. Not even the bank would take money from me as a result of wanting to withdraw!
I can understand removing the bonus gained but taking a percentage of the money I have deposited is criminal, particularly when the scheme is aimed at first time buyers.
Most of you will be lucky enough not to receive these withdrawal penalties but they do exist and painfully I am now being robbed of vital monies that I feel I have wasted by opting for Moneybox as a safe place for my savings.

Absolutely brilliant customer service with Moneybox - I'm a new-ish customer and joined in January this year after a new years resolution to do some serious saving! So far I've saved more money with this company than I have with anyone else before. It's simple to use and efficient, doing what it says on the tin. They've helped me to switch an old ISA to my new Stocks & Shares ISA and they were very responsive during this process. Can't thank you enough guys :)

The service to really good takes a little while for the money to be transferred into your account, but it does get there in the end after a week.
Would be great if it took the money 1 working day to be transferred over like other banks and accounts.

A lot of the bad reviews talk about things like LISA and getting a penalty or withdrawal taking too long. You need to keep in mind: LISA - you have rules set by HMRC and for other accounts, when you deal with stocks, you need to understand this is capital at risk. When you open an account, they clearly state this. So stop blaming Moneybox for you not reading terms or understanding how this business works.
Now that is out of the way, I would like to say that for both my LISA as for my Stocks & Shares account Moneybox has been amazing. I opened my account just over a year ago for my LISA, and have just withdrawn. They are amazing. I requested the money on Monday and by Friday the money was with my solicitors. They kept me up to date about every step: e.g. my solicitor emailed them, they took out the money, the transaction is complete. This is great! Every time I needed help their chat function is the go to and they respond within 2 hours (in my experience, so differs per day/person/situation).
Now for my stocks and shares, I was making a profit and I needed the money to pay off some bills. They got the stocks and shares sold within a week and within two weeks I got the money. The withdrawal process was straight forward and now I have paid off most of my things, I can start re-investing and I will do this with Moneybox for sure.

Poor customer service , delay after delay on switching to a LISA. Claiming I'm giving the wrong account number. In the end I rang in and gave them my details over the phone I asked several times during the phone call is this definitely the correct information you need? He said yes and said he'd start the process. A few weeks later I asked for an update and they have yet again said the account number is wrong. Poor communication. Obvious attempt to delay my LISA. I wouldn't even attempt using this service.

Really solid app. Simple process for all your ISA needs. Definitely recommend them for the app alone. The preset funds for the S&S ISA seems to be doing pretty well too, so that's a plus too.
Tons of ways to save too, weekly deposits, pay day deposits, one offs, round ups, etc.
Ignore the drongos who don't understand the rules of HMRCs LISA withdrawal requirements! Everything is perfectly explained when you set these up.

I’ve loved using Moneybox so far. The entire platform is really user friendly and you get quick and helpful customer service. Beautiful user experience design, and portfolios that are performing well during a pandemic. I’d highly recommend this app to anyone looking for a stress free and cost-efficient way to save. Deposit times are a bit slow, but being able to change the weekly deposit amounts whenever I want makes everything really flexible.
