Clickbaity contradicting articles based on the latest market trend written by freelancers who's sole purpose is to entice you to sign for their "premium" service. Once you sign they will try to up sell you even more. AVOID

The content its self is okay, nothing particularly special, anyone can do it. You can find much more in depth analysis elsewhere, which is what you want to be paying for. Montley consistently contradict themselves e.g articles suggesting a buy in shell , whilst others say stay clear. I mean?.

Steer clear...as soon as you sign up for the basic plan ( £99 year 1) they try and get you to " upgrade " to a more expensive tipping service. Complete lack of transparency.
Please AVOID.

I read some of the reviews here, low stars and it seems to be day traders who expect instant returns...they are about LONG TERM INVESTING ppl!
They provide the ideas, you then have to decide for yourself if you want to invest or not, no one is forcing you. I have the US service and have made over 100% on my three portfolios (bought Netflix when it was in single digits and on their recommendation bought a few shares), made over 2,000%, not a millionnaire yet, but working on it!
Am buying a subscription for my husband of their UK service for Xmas.

would give it a negative five stars if I could. What a waste of money, what incredible poor investment thinking, what horrendously pushy cross-selling attempts (no, I am really not reading your stock picks because I actually want insurance ...). Please, please, please, stay clear of this service and go for the US site instead.

I fell in love with the American Motley Fool podcast about 12 months ago. Their open, honest reviews and their belief in long term investing set them apart from other investment advisors.
Unfortunately, the UK branch is a different beast..
My experience has been marred with disappointing customer service and an horrendous spam email system. The titles of their emails read like a buzzfeed post. This week I have recieved 8 emails including "Your savings are about to expire!", and "Yesterday we revealed this stock market secret, did you see it?". These click bait attempts are what you would expect from a side advert on facebook rather than a professional investment advisor. Worst of all, it sets the tone for the rest of the article..
I came in ready to love Motley Fool UK but was quickly whittled down to writing a poor review. (That said, I still highly recommend the US Motley Fool podcast)

Investing relies on research and a bit of luck. Motley Fool UK has a positive record on its recommendations and leaves its historic tips on the site. If I have a gripe it is that the US site has a better record!
