Very happy with AXA insurance. They paid out on our claim without making a fuss and they did not increase our premiums the next year by too much after the claim was made. So we continued our insurance cover with AXA for another year. Insurance companies should be judged on whether they actually pay out claims without hassle and the value of their premiums. On both counts, I am very happy to recommend AXA insurance.

This is the worse insurance in the UK. The private health insurance is close to criminal in their conduct. Customer service never reachable (tried for 6 days in a row. 3x per day and no response). They simply ignore any request and just don't communicate. Even when human suffering is involved the insurance takes months to respond. Do Not use them!

Avoid at all cost! The health insurance team has the Worse customer service in the industry! Blatand ignorance all across the organisation. An organisation that purposely delays responses to avoid coverage and costs. They take your membership fees but never agree to pay for any treatment (even when there is cover). Covid made this worse. They simply keep ignoring people's requests.

As many people have said here, this insurance has criminal practices! Especially the health insurance let's people suffer and avoids responding to any pre approval for months. The claims manager have clear targets to avoid responding to people.

If you are looking for constantly being let down, relying on empty promises,being told lies all the time then this is the insurance company for you. On the other hand if you have even a little bit of self respect and don't like to be let down as soon as you come across the name Axa insurance run and run as fast as you can.

I am on holiday in Poland and the windscreen of my car has crack. The company Axa is unable to solve the problem outside the UK, although my car insurance is valid in Europe for 90 days. The winscreen will be replaced when I return to the UK. So I will have another week's drive with a cracked window and return home to the UK 1200 miles away. First problem after 10 years and they can't solve the problem.Disappointed

Taking the car insurance to one side Exellent Service. Tha home contents insurance in Belfast is something to be desired about, after 3 years and more, paying by direct debt with out fault my TV granted 9 years old gave up the ghost and a discontinued item parts included. Forwarded by claim details they where taken and all requested information was forwarded on. After numerous calls all last week was told my claim agent (Stacey Long) is with another call or not in the office. Was also explained that they would do a ring back which never happened. Today afted more phone calls was told not by agent in question that it has been declined because it wasn't accidentally damage and the don't do new for old policy's. Discussed is not the word why have you to let people hang on so long told to get all documentation and no not covered. I will certainly give no recommendations fo this fiasco. Cancelling Policy will never be back.

Contacted AXA twice because some crashed into me, twice i was told to call back as they were to busy. I tried and tried and eventually gave in. Renewal time came round and i tried to cancel, you guessed, i couldn't get through. Now i have threatening text messages and guess what, i can't get through to them. AXA, PLEASE STOP SENDING ME THREATENING TEXT MESSAGES.

Nice looking large offices. Verry unassuming from the outside like many city offices. Shared with a law firm. AXA occupy the top two floors. Lots of breakout rooms and informal meeting areas/ pods etc and then more formal meeting rooms on the top floor. Location in the City can't be beaten; overlooking Bank junction.

DONT USE!!! I was involved in an accident and contacted Axa about the claim 2 months ago. Since then I have sent countless emails, made multiple calls and even sent 2 emails to their complaints department and I’ve not had 1 update or reply... in 2 months!!! Absolute scam.

one of the easiest company to work with ! Documents upload was quick and easy, never had to wait on the phone more than 3-5 minutes. I cancelled 9 months later due to change of career and cancelling was easy and smooth and I also got a refund back.

Their car insurance is internet based only. No phone...anywhere. Average work day response to emails for even basic adjustments? Oh, that’d be 6 hours...when a phone call would do it in less than 15 minutes. Conclusion? AVOID Axa like a dose of the bubonic plague.....

My friends got broken-down yesterday in Burgos, Spain. They've waited 7 hours for both towing truck and taxi to take them to a hotel. They have a 7 years old autistic child. Today they had to checkout the hotel at 12:00 while waiting to know their car's diagnosis without any updates at all from Axa so they decided to google the garage themselves. When they called the garage, the mechanic told them that they can't look at their car today as they are busy so will have to deal with it tomorrow. It was around 17:00 when they found out so they wasted another day, this time at the hotel lobby. I work in assistance myself and I never heard anything like this in my life. Bad service, will never get insurance with Axa.

Why no fax number shown ?? also just try getting through on the phone, you are pushed from one recorded voice to another and then wait forever to be answered. If you are not crazy to start with, you will be traumatised after.

Worst company to insure your car with. You will wait for hours on hold. No response to numerous emails. Once through to a person, they are rude and unable to deal with any questions regarding on going case matters. In fact they use the same lines in regards to they will pass the message to a case handler and have said a number of times they are busy in a rude manner. Initially they want you to accept liability of an accident even when clearly stated that I'm not at fault but they repeatedly asked whether I was at fault, felt as if they had the other driver's interest rather than mine. Thereafter, the evidence provided and the witness statement has remained on their desk waiting for the case handler to review for over a month now every time I call which has been on a weekly basis. Have not spoken to the case handler apart from one of the original calls. You can only judge a car insurance company on the basis of how they handle claims and this is the worst company I have dealt with even in regards to customer service and the duty of care provided.

Have had little contact since we started 2 yra ago. Now I have moved to France and need to speak to someone to cancel uk insurance, set up new insurance. get necessary paperwork for registering my car in France. After five phone calls, the last one was 40mins duration, I have still been unable to actually speak to anyone. I don't care if they have the most beautiful office in the world, or the best designed website on the internet. What I want is service.I can't even log in to my account because I have mislaid my password and can only get a new one by phoning the same customer service number, where nobody speaks to me. Customer service?
