I had a car crash on the 28th October 2020 which was not my fault. It was a 3 car crash. where the 1st car was at fault. I was advised that this was going to Accident Happens who would call me in the next 24 Hours to retrieve the car and I would get a courtesy car. I was then advised after I chased for an update that I would not get this done until the person who caused the accident had admitted liability. It took over 3 weeks for them to tell me that I had to claim against my insurance. It took another week for another company to take my car and then I got a courtesy car 1 week later (5 weeks after the accident). I have been on the phone constantly to discuss my claim with no sufficient outcome. I was told that it could take up to 3 months for them to get the 1st car drive to admit that it was his fault and if they didn't then they would have to go and retrieve the monies via other means. I paid my excess as requested. I know the insurance company has had the invoice for the cost of the repairs and was told that they could not give me a time scale in which this would get resolved. To say the least I am disappointed. In all my time I have never been dealt with so badly and that I was told different things by different operators. I always had to chase for updates and they were not forthcoming until I shouted at them. I am still waiting for an outcome and my excess to be returned. They are happy to take your money but not to return it. I thought they would have my back but it seems that the 1st car driver has more right than I do. Oh by the way the 2nd car which was involved had his car taken away and repaired in 10 days!! Go Direct Line for ensuring his client requirements were met Oh by the way when I asked for the complaints department I was told I didn't have a complaint and it would not go any further.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS Worst insurance company ever. Cancelled my policy a month before it was due for renewal, was advised they would send an email confirming any balance. Immediately after getting off the phone my credit card app alerted me to them taking a payment of £52.50, which I had not approved, appears when I paid my deposit they set up the card as pre payment, again which I did not approve. They refuse now to refund the cancellation charge or to reinstate the policy and let it lapse as I had already paid for the full year policy, so all add the cancellation charge they will not refund for the unused month of insurance. Absolute scammer of an insurance. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Worse car insurance company i have ever used in 14 years! Had an accident that wasnt my fault, they refused to fight the claim, said they go by the word of the third party and if they dont agree its their fault it goes down as your fault, not great really seen as they tell you never to admit its your fault. Works great for the person who caused the accident when the company you're paying money to can't be bothered to do their job and fight your case! so you then have to foot the bill for the excess fee. Never contacted me throughout the 6 months it took them to sort out everything, leaving me to pay for insurance and kept my car so without that aswell. Put a complaint in that still didnt make any difference. Now trying to retrieve stuff out of my car which is a complete nightmare overall they are a terrible company and should be shut down!

Poor service, had a change of Reg, the DVLA and Gap insurance updated last Friday but Got2 system was still not picking up the new Reg. Really disappointed as I am not able to use the car. Hope I read the reviews before purchasing this insurance.

Wouldn’t insure on new car then had the cheek to charge £52.50 to cancel the policy. 2 pending claims with them for incidents that I was not at fault for and again as helpful as a chocolate fire guard. Stay away!

DO NOT CHOOSE THIS INSURANCE !! If you are looking for an insurance company for your car. NO! CHOOSE THIS !!! YOU WILL REGRET IT !! I have been fighting for 2 months to claim the money for an accident, they kept my car every month they collect the insurance money that no longer serves me because they have my car, they never answer your call and when they do they are kind but they never solve your problem, really this company is the worst thing I could have chosen, just because it was cheap !! But in the end it is more expensive than all because you will pay a lot of money if you have an accident. I lose 350 pounds a month because the car is financed and even if you pay the insurance. this is crazy! DO NOT CHOOSE THIS INSURANCE !!

I took out Insurance with this company last year. I have recently been involved in a road accident which Was not my fault. All supporting evidence given police report independent witness photographs et cetera . Received an email this morning, they will not offer me a renewal. I have requested why. They won’t give any Pacific details. I’m absolutely flabbergasted . I’m over 50 years old. I have a number of no claims etc. I don’t see myself has being in a high risk group . Disgraceful

Do not insure your car with this company!! I had a £30,000.00 Range Rover stolen and they have said they are not paying out due to me not notifying them of modifications on the car but I did phone up and they said they cannot find any detail. Truly the worst service I have ever come across.

Not a very pleasant experience. I found this company on a price comparison site and insured my BMW 1 series with them. After just over a month, I contacted them regarding a new quote for a Series 2 coupe - only to be told that they could not insure my new vehicle. I was not provided with any reason and simply told that their system, "Doesn't retrieve new vehicle quotes". This was not stated on their terms and conditions. After being ignored by the company, I contacted the director who was very pleasant and encouraged them to resolve my issue quickly. I have had to cancel my policy and insure with another company. Pay a little extra and insure with a reputable firm who put customer care at the forefront of their business.

THE WORST SERVICE EVER! Don't waist your time with them, as soon you'll have a claim or slightest problem it'll take forever to get it resolved. They wrote my car off after It was hit and left and it has been over 4 months They still haven't processed the claim while i'm left without a car as frontline nhs worker, they are making all sorts of excuses asking me to proof the damaged weren't from previous accidents. I'm still waiting to hear back and by their promise it'll take another 2 months. I have lost my car which i could've repair, the replacement vehicle was taken away from me within a week and have been paying for temporary cover since then. DO NOT FALL FOR THE CHEAP COVER!

Utterly horrendous. Zero online presence. One guy that answers the phone after 35 minutes who's so arrogant and care free it's impossible to get anything done. Took 4 weeks to confirm a total loss on an obvious write off. A further 6 weeks to get a settlement figure. They then want the full policy deducting from settlement in month 3 of the year. 50 plus calls to chase and still no payment while they send threatening reminders about payment of the premium. Absolute firm if chances. Refuse to amend or change vehicle without full policy being paid and new quote bring done. Reporting to Ombudsman and will be visiting their 'office' if not resolved to get a personal response from these idiots

These people are con merchants. DO NOT INSURE ANYTHING WITH THEM. I tried to insure a second vehicle with them and they refused even though there are no claims against my Policy. They could not even give me a valid reason why they would not. So I cancelled the policy immediately. God knows what they would be like to deal with if there had of been an accident. They are happy to take your money though.

Be careful with this company and do not insurance your car with them. I range them to change the car details in advance, they provided a quote on the phone but told me to ring back a few days later when I got my new car. A few days later, I range back to change my car details but they told me that they were unable to provide a quote this time and decided to charge me £52.00 for the cancellation. Its absolutely scandalous!!!!!

Phone just rings and rings and eventually gets cut off. Biblical waste of time. I was calling to switch the car on my policy but if I ever get through to them, I will be cancelling my policy. Save yourself the hassle and don’t bother.

AVOID! VERY BAD COMPANY!!! They took my excess money even know it wasn't my fault. They said they will reimburse me once their insurance pays them back. I ask them how long will that take and they said could take a month, maybe two months. I am really disgusted with this poor service! Also it took them ages to have my car fixed and when I got it back from their recommended garage I had to take it back because it wasn't repaired properly! I WILL NOT USE OR RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!

Honestly they deserve less than Zero rate's. The service is bad, they have no access to any data and they asking for to much personal documents that insurance companies should not ask for. When i did refuse to send some, and i felt they are dodgy, i did ask to cancel my query, however they charged me a cancellation fees ! I did explain the law of 14 day coling off period, but they did what they want and charged me. I advice any one to go away from them.

Getting anything done over the phone is very limited, was a bit alarmed as it’s one of those policies you can’t cancel midterm without paying off the whole thing and they don’t do multi car policies which I was told I’d have to do a fresh quote on line.
