Disappointing visit. Doorway blocked by large notice board and yes I know we have covid restrictions. Allowed in shop and led to display and constantly followed around by staff member. Almost in my pocket. No not for me .

Went in as my contract is up for renewal and wanted to see what they could do. Spoke with someone who said someone would be over shortly. I took a seat. Chap comes over and couldn’t have been less interested in dealing with me / working / helping if he tried. To ask about contracts I was handed a magazine and told to look myself. I decided what I wanted but there was no “Shall we do it then” or such from him so will do it elsewhere. Disappointing O2, very disappointing. The chap concerned will cost you customers.

I nipped into this branch for a case and screen protector for my new work phone as O2 has a great variety of high quality accessories. I was served by a lady called Bushra who was very helpful; she went to the stock room to get me all available accessories for my phone and put the screen protector on for me too. She was lovely and gave me great service, I'd definitely recommend her and this branch as a whole!

This O2 shop is great. Not only they have a lot of devices on display, but the staff is quite welcoming. They are able to help you with anything you want and that you can't get by calling customer service. If you are an O2 customer or someone looking forward to joining O2, this is a good place to go.

After preordering 2 new Note 9 phones and paying £49.99 each. i was told to collect the the following week, they offered me £255 sale back and a further £200 pre order offer. No further explanation. On collecting the phones i was told if they deduct the £255 i would loose the additional £200. They then told me i had to make arrangements over the internet to get my money back. I now paid just under £600 for the privilege of shopping with them. They proceeded to transfer my details from the old phone to the new phone, with the help of a Samsung rep. The O2 staff had let the rep do their job. Nearly 4 hours later, yes 4 hours they had lost most of my pictures ( grand children holidays etc). During this time we had sent out for food and drinks. By now my wife and i had lost the will to live. We complained to the assistant manager, who was absolutely clueless, trying to make one excuse after the other, we took the phones in a semi setup state and left. I had also convinced my daughter and son-in-law to buy the Note 9 also. On getting home my son-in-law had set up his phone perfectly, he reset my phone and transferred all the data from my old phone to the new in only 10 minutes. I phoned and complained to O2, who could not believe the way we were treated, and will follow up the complaint personally.This is 4 hours my wife and i have lost and totally wasted. Unfortunately the system does not allow less the 1 star rating. we have been with O2 for over 12 years and now seriously thinking of leaving. I cannot understand how O2 recruit such awful staff who were so unprepared and lack customer skills, for was the the launch of a new major phone. A & G

Try to use the one at Gallowtree. In here they just try to deceive you without telling you all your options. I asked for a plain sim card pay as you go without any package in it, only with a top up of £10. The only option I was offered was with a big bundle which would automatically spend the £10 into a set of data-calls-messages. I explained that I'd need this for people visiting in 2 weeks time and therefore it would be a waste of money, and therefore, if I could please get a plain sim card with a regular top up. She kept telling me about this option only, even when I asked whether they changed their policy and they don't sell plain sim cards for pay as you go without any bundle bought. She kept showing me on an O2 magazine only the page with the big bundles. Guess what! Eventually I left really irritated for being deceived and I visited O2 at Gallowtree. Over there I asked for the same thing and the guy showed me both the page that the previous O2 employee had showed me (with the bundles) but also the next page (which the previous employee just hide) with the classic plain sim card. In 2 minutes I had an excellent customer service, presenting me with all the options I had, asking me which one I prefer, and buying it. No force to get the option that wasn't the best option for me. Never again at the Highcross shop!
