Absolutely terrible customer service at the Vodafone Leicester Highcross branch on 12/12/20. Went in to ask for a sim card to fit new phone while maintaining same number - a less than 5 min job. Was told that because of Covid, they are operating a queuing system and got my name on the list and told to expect a call within 30mins to come back to be served. Popped over 2hr later to be told to wait for another 1hrr minimum. Out of the 4 people who I could see, 1 was serving a quite demanding customer (was in the queue for 30mins the second time around and the customer was still there and was clearly there for a while), 1 was permanently starting at a computer screen, 1 was engaging with the queueing customers (effectively writing their details so that they will be contacted in 30 mins like I was told the 1st time around) and 1 was in the back office and only popped out when I started taking pictures of 'the situation' to be able to use as evidence. After discussing why I am taking pictures of the shop, I decided to move away without my new sim card and having lost 2hr of my life engaging with a bunch who clearly saw customer-service as an inconvenience (they were too many disgruntled customers before me). So here you go...I have warned you. You are better off with a new network who values their customers. Get your PUC code now.

Due to Covid19, the staff and the store make you feel safe. All have face masks on and store is clean. We visited the store to help my wife as her sim wasn't working. The advisor sorted the issue out straight away. The staff there are always helpful. Thanks staff of vodafone highcross.

I recently visited this store looking to upgrade my handset to a later model. As soon as I arrived I was pleasantly greeted by a young member of your team called Callum. He went through a range of options regarding phones and packages available. Fantastic service. Would definitely recommend.

I visit the store today just to replace my SIM card went to the store 1 hr before closing time and the sales advisor called umir spoke to me very rudely and said that we can’t see u today come back tomorrow . I asked him to call the manager and he replied that his the manager of the store but on his name badge it said sales advisor. I go to the store 1 hour before closing time y can not someone help u very very poor customer service

I’ve been with Vodafone for quite some time, although not perfect (yet to find a phone company that is) they always have a solution to an issue if there is one, I can see previous reviews that say the people here only ‘sell’ but that is a sales assistants job, it’s in their job title. I’ve had a couple of issues in the past and been in to store where a lovely assistant pointed me in the right direction and how to deal with the problem. Thank you for the help!

The staff will constantly lie to you as if they are trained to lie to you. Was promised that the phone would be in by the monday to be then told that it wont be in for well over a week. When we rang Vodafone directly they told us that they had plenty in stock but the staff would give us one as they could use them to sell more contracts

Partner went in for a new phone, service from the store manager was so good, I ended up buying one as well, couple of issues with connecting my phone but he always kept in contact with me even without me being in the store, he was there from start to finish Awesome!

This store employees are the worst I ever met. I went in to this store because the Vodafone online chat support told me the only way to help on my problem is go into and they could exchange my faulty (£640) half year old handset. They asked me to call Vodafone on a number because they cant help me anything they just here to sell. I tried call the number but no coverage in the store so had to go out... The line disconnection 3 times when i gave up and told for them please do something to help me about the device. Nothing! I left before did something....If you don't want to waist your time don't go there! They can't solve anything! Rude and really discriminative people's there! ( I'm really close to take my number to other provider - like EE where i have contract too..)

Waiting for over an hour to be served. I'm so hacked off I think I'll change provider. Also, zero sympathy from the staff. Rang customer service and got a far better service, solutions to my problems, and decided to remain with Vodafone, but will never go back to the store. Ever.

extortion in this store i wanted to swap old sim card to nano swap supposed to be free but told my id wasn't good enough photo id then wanted £10 for new sim card just made complaint to head office this was pay as you go they are sending me free one also sent for back up from giffgaff been with vodafone for years not the best way to deal with customers i'am also contacting ombudsman.

Absolutely awful. Never gone over my data in 18 months i have had my contract. Aparently last month i went over and they charged me £78. My contract states I will be charged 6.50 for each 250mb Over my normal data I use. Vodafone have charged me £6.50 for every time I used the internet that month. I spoke to them about this and they said the contract is wrong that is not how it works. Just lost yourself a loyal customer as I will not be renewing. Dont know how you can say the contract is wrong, you wrote it and are not willing to honour it. Wpuld give 0 stars if I could.

Bad service . Was conned into having a contract instead of pay as you go. Phone difficult. Took issues to Ombudsman. They should have apologised but never did. They pulled out of membership of a scheme, so they cannot be held to account by Ombudsman any more. Avoid them like the plague.

Total waste of time & effort, went in to sort out a business account issue, to be told by staff they could not deal with business issues, this followed spending a hour on the phone with their help line, who recommended the visit the local branch in the first place. Arrrrr .......

Went in to collect a phone, 50 minutes later left the shop. Mistake by vodafone meant they had ordered wrong colour - it took 3 assistants 50 minutes to sort it out and a call to complaints department. Manageress didnt even have the decency to get off her chair to come over and ask what the problem was, just shouted across the shop "we'll sort it"!! Not recommended at all!!

I go into the Vodafone store where customers are being attended to and no staff are standing around. Once i was served i was given quick and efficient service. what i didn't know was that the sales assistant was AN IDIOT and had told me that i can activate a microsim once i got home through customer services. I had done this as i still needed my existing sim during the day. after 45mins in a queue on the phone, i find out it must be done in store and that the rep had had several calls during the day with the same problem. Will i even be able to use my nexus 4! ugh
