I have used this application and have found it excellent. I had to contact them via email which is convenient for me and got very prompt responses to a few enquiries that I had. They were detailed and thorough with their investigations and i left a happy client. I do recommend them to those looking for finance options as well as tracking and monitoring my financial signature for any inconsistencies and or opportunities Thank you ClearScore

This company is 0 star only wish it would give you that option on here. I am appalled by this company can not speak to anyone when you ring you have to leave a message with your name and email address in order for them to contact you. Everything is done over email which is ridiculous as they don't listen to what you are saying and ask you the same thing more than once. I am in need to speak to someone about a situation and am not getting anywhere quick!!!!! Its taken me 5 days and they still can sort the issue out. Disgusting company and should not be allowed to operate the way they do!!! Avoid them at all costs.

Apparently having 95% chance of approval and credit score above national average actually means 100% no chance of approval.. what's the point of having a clearscore account...

It is very "Clear" that this app/company is nothing more than an opportunistic revenue generator, masquerading behind the facade that this is a beneficial money management tool, It isnt. It certainly could be of value, but only if;- 1.0 the account information was accurate (look forward to some generic Clearscore response to this)... 2.0 their business drivers weren't solely focused on generating revenue (see above...) I sincerely hope that potential lenders do not rely upon the flawed and inaccurate information that Clearscore capture within the reports, tho sadly I imagine this is the case, which is disappointing, How they can operate in this manner without external checks and balances is beyond me, Morally bankrupt company at best Avoid, unless you want to be misrepresented and continually sold products you neither want or need....

trying to speak to anyone there is futile.. have left countless answerphone messages and sent several emails with a query since last October and no one has bothered to reply back. Far better to use a different company

Handy to check your credit score if you are interested in that type of thing, however I notice that a few of the facts and figures are always incorrect. Outstanding debts and bank balances always seem to be either zero or massively over the top to what they actually are. Makes you wonder how they get their information.

I have requested to remove a property attached to me that i know nothing about nor have i ever lived there. The response time on something so serious is appalling leaving me worried about how this property has been attached to my record. There is no way to speak to a human and as a result i fell completely locked out and at the mercy of something completely inaccurate. I will be searching for a more accurate service

Not a good service when it comes to communication, have emailed a number of times about something on my account which I dont think this be there and all emails have been ignored, I have tried calling too and each time get a voice mail which asks me to leave contact details which the calls are never returned and only given a 1minute to leave a message which is useless also. I find the lack of communication and care for people concerned and enquiries is a very unprofessional approach.

Clear Score's information is wrong and communication is absolutely poor. they attached a property in my recorded that I know nothing about nor I've ever lived there. Tried to emailed them several times since July 2019 but their response is not related to my issue and just an instruction to change my address manually sent which is impossible to follow.

Used clear score prior to securing my mortgage it updates once a month unlike Equifax with the paid service so in short good for a free service. Would score 5 stars if they updated to a live service and would pay for this as the web design is definitely the best I have seen.

Can't log in from the android app any longer due to the wrong password which I haven't actually changed? Have to use a PC now which is inconvenient as I don't own one. Information updates sporadically. I moved house a year ago and it's only just been changed after 10 months. Now for the strange bit.... Came into some money in October last year and cleared the majority of my outstanding debts. Had 4 maxed out cards and pretty much lived in my overdraft. Now that the company has finally acknowledged {after 19 weeks} that my credit usage is now only around 10% of what I actually have available, things got very weird... Waiting excitedly, month after month, for my score to go back up to somewhere near pre spiralling debt levels, or at the very least, UP, now that I'm finally in a position to actually have enough for a small deposit and apply for a mortgage after clearing almost 10k of credit card debt, and... Nope, score has actually gone down 118 points to a new record low this month!!! {for context, my score is now almost a hundred points lower than a friends who has multiple CCJs and defaults with 3 collection agencies currently chasing him for non payment} Moral of the story... If you're in a mountain of spiralling debt and you're lucky enough to come into a few grand. Don't be sensible, it gets you precisely nowhere. Blow the f**king lot on a trip to Vegas, have the time of your life, and just declare yourself bankrupt, as paying off your debt appears to blacklist you as somewhere between the antichrist and Hitler to potential creditors, on clearscore at least... Have now deleted it as quite frankly, it's very depressing seeing my credit score plummet as my available balances skyrocket each month knowing that thanks to a bent credit score system, I'll continue, for the foreseeable future at least, to be trapped in the private rental sector, using over half of my monthly take home to pay for my landlords mortgage, which was probably paid up in the 80s anyway! Opens your eyes to how twisted the financial services sector really are. Nothing but crooked vultures who want you saddled with mountains of high %APR debt so they can peck away at you until you're pushing up daisys!

Seem to be very slow to update compared to the other free credit score companies. I’ve moved addresses several times and always update my banks and electoral roles however it still shows my old address on my credit report, even though all the other ones have updated. Probably my least favourite company however at least it is free!

completely unusable. None of the link works. I can see error in the browser (both firefox and chrome), none of the pages work. It's just bunch of blank pages really.... what a joke *UPDATE* I was using the web not the android/apple app version of clear score.

Tried to update my surname due to marriage. Followed their instructions by setting up a new account, but now I can't sign into either account! When I request a 'password reminder/reset' no email comes through. I want to speak to a human about this, not a generic email with instructions that don't work.

Absolutely shocking and they need to be investigated. I recently checked my so called credit report on clear score and was gobsmacked to discover 12 false credit reports 7 of which did not even give information on the source. I since contacted the companies that are noted and they state they kwsno nothing of these false reports and sent me letters verifying this and that the Short Term Debt shown on clearscore are false. I then spoke to equifax who gave me access to the credit reports they hold and shockingly nothing appeared that is being shown on clearscore!. Clearscore do not have a phone number to contact them so had to leave a message. My thoughts on this. Equifax clarified that clearscore receive the credit reports from them 1 month in delay. SO the fact I have false Short Term Debt displayed on the clearscore platform from 2014-2019 indicates clearscore could not possibly be receiving this false information from equifax. Meaning they could be placing these false reports onto their website in order to generate income from partnered credit companies offering extremely high APR credit and loans based on these false credit score reports and making a profit from it. BE WARNED and I advice others to check for false debt recorded via clearscore and report it to the Financial Ombudsman as they need to be investigated.

Infuriated, if I could give a rating of no stars I would, I have always been seriously careful in building my credit score, always kept up with finance agreements, never having a credit card when I was younger to avoid getting carried away like many do, I finally find myself in a position to use get one and use it sensibly to increase my score further in the hopes of getting a mortgage in the near future, and using their offers I get approved for one! But during the viewing of my PDF agreement, right before putting down my e-signature, the app crashed, I went through the process again, for the same card and got declined, I now have had my first ever application for a card declined which is something I have been avoiding for years and it’s all down to your stupid app! And I can’t even work out who I’m meant to call to see how much damage this has caused to my score, thanks a lot ClearScore.

I find clearscore to be really easy to use but it's terrible when it comes to showing your finances. In the past year I had a higher purchase which never appeared on my report but all the finance companies searches did. I paid this off 50 months early. I also have a couple of loans that have never shown on my report. I have registered on to electoral register, not showing on my report. I have just ordered a new sofa and dining room table and chairs costing £3000 which I have no doubt, will not appear on my report. My score has never been more than 290 on this site and I doubt it ever will be, therefore I will always have no choice but to pay high interest rates. I think that more what these site are about! Keeping you down so you pay a lot more

Good, no problems. Seems like a lot of people's negative reviews are to do with their bad credit scores rather than the website itself. It's nice to be able to track it, including seeing my credit score tank after a certain mobile provider credit checked me for my whopping £120 sim only annual deal.

ClearScore cannot be relied on to provide any useful results, because they base their scores on *partial* information. I have corresponded with them about this issue, but with no resolution - they say it is "out of their hands." Hence this very negative review. So what is the point of ClearScore? Who knows??!

Thankfully this organisation is not an actual credit reference agency so they cannot adversely affect your credit rating. However, I subscribe to all the agencies - most recently noddle/credit karma - and so know the information held by Equifax on my file and there is nothing negative at all. Nothing Clearscore holds, except perhaps my name, is accurate and the score is hundreds of points lower than that I have on Equifax and has been for the year, or more, that I have been registered. So, wherever they collect or "scrape" their information from, it would appear not to be Equifax - which begs the question where do they find it? As indicated above Clearscore is not a credit reference agency. What, therefore, is their purpose? What do they do? Why do they do it? Well they are not a charity, they are not making you all these offers - based around your credit score - for nothing. They have staff to pay, buildings to lease, IT staff and resources to run and operate and the costs go on and on as with any business. Essentially, the organisation is a sales vehicle. So, their purpose is SALES, their work is SALES and all is done in the pursuit of SALES. Thankfully though, they are not an actual credit reference agency and I think we should all thank all that is holy for this blessing that's been bestowed upon us.

completely unprofessional website showing wrong imformation, ie on the timeline page it's shows that I have accounts with Santander & Virgin Media the answer to that is NO I don't have & never have had accounts with these company's' also on the same page it's showing payments to be made of over £9000, wrong again. Click onto the next page & again wrong imformation shows I have short-term debt of over £13000, I don't any debt. Nobody from ClearScore or Equifax (the imformation providers to clearscore) appears to want help.

I have been with clear score for a year now, and in all that time I have had no problems what so ever. It is clear that they get the results from one of the larger credit agencies. If the information comes from another source then they (Clear Score) cannot be blamed if the information is either not there or its wrong. Come on people its a free service, how often do we get something for nothing. Keep up the great work clear score.

My husband and I have used clearscore for a while now and have been very pleased. Lately an address that we have never lived at has come onto our report and I have emailed them twice to have it removed but it is still on there. It is seriously worrying as we have lived at our current address for 30 years.

I have the same sort of issues as those raised by most other negative posts. Moved house last year and my new address appears in report as a former residence. My old house is still listed as the current abode yet they list me as on the Electoral Register at the new house. Credit score has fallen through the floor yet all aspects of my report correctly show as positive. Why are we potentially liable to be penalized when applying for credit due to there incompetence.

Excellent website, easy to set up and very easy to read, monitor your score and look at the information any creditors see. The site shows a dashboard with quick information or a more in depth information. It will show you positive offers for you and obviously show the negatives. The incentive is to improve your score so Clearscore gives you this encouragement and guidance. AND this is a free service. I have improved my score within a few days, this will show in 31 days. Thank you.

Rubbish suggests addresses loan places etc yet none of information is correct so how you suppose to check your rating also means false information is given out when applying for credit, they cant even get address right ffs, wish could give zero rating

Complete and utter rubbish. When I raised a dispute. They did nothing. There still showing my credit card balance 3 months after I cleared and closed the account. The scoring system has absolutely no resemblance to the rebuttal credit reference agencies. No wonder it's free.. .

They bombard us with solicitation to make our credit profile more accurate, so we hand over ever more data (which they can lose) so they can mine our data and sell to third parties, after which they then send us scary mails announcing some ‘change’. Tried to log on. No joy with the password I wrote down last time. Reset, with the same password (who wants thousands of different passwords...?) but then get told I cannot use an existing password. Try my ‘other’ password. Same answer. Sorry, you want my business. Too difficult. I go to the other providers of this rather common service.
