Flashy website that holds inaccurate info on your file. This website exists to push financial products on to you to increase your score but in reality all it is doing is getting you to open new lines of credit. How can the score on this site be so low yet Experian and Credit Karma have your score be much higher? There is something seriously wrong with the system that ClearScore is using resulting in a rubbish score. This site is useless as it does not reflect accurate info.

Been with them a few years, no explanation as to why your score is constantly changing and pre approved is a joke, you always get turned down by lenders. As someone else has said, it is a way of pushing you to take out more credit. Can't say I would recommend.

I have been using clearscore for a while now, i also use another big named company! my creditscore was a lot lower on clearscore so looked into my file, they did have outdated details so sent them a quick email explaining the issue. 1 week later all details were updated and my score jumped up be 197 points..

An extremely poor credit review company that hold inaccurate & out of date credit files on their system for long periods of time even when them accounts have been closed & you no longer owe money on them. The customer service seem to be none existent as well in order to try to contact anybody to rectify any issues. Let's put it this way my credit rating with Experian is good , however with Clearscore it's rock bottom very bad how do they work that out?

I don't rate clearscore and credit ratings are are set up by banking companies, to make life difficult for anyone with financial problems. CASH is the best way to pay. Everyone should use cash.

Personally, I've never had an issue with Clear Score. My score has been consistently excellent which also compares similarly to Experian.
Clear Score use Equifax to obtain credit scores, who are one of the largest consumer credit reporting agencies in the world. So for people complaining about Clear Score reporting incorrect data, I find that hard to believe. You may want to re-evaluate your finances...

They have sent me a notification saying I'm preapproved for a cc. I've applied on clearscore for a cc with Capital one and I got a message saying I'm 100% guaranteed approved and all I have to do is apply. I've applied and got rejected and also left a print on my credit score, now making it worse than it was.

They use the Equifax database and if you look at Equifax`s reviews I don`t have to explain myself. EXTREMELY BAD! TotallyMoney seems the underdog but their accounts are actually more up to date thanks to TransUnion. ClearScore/Equifax had my brother`s Electoral roll information on my account including his house address/council! UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

Rubbish service, they don't take into account the things you have done to improve your scorr but will very quickly slash it at the slightest reason, they have removed current accounts from my report, and have no way of contacting support whatsoever.

Held inaccurate data which left me with a really low score. Could not change it. Did not reflect equifax or Experian.
I lost out on things and could not understand why. Customer service is awful. Dont sign up or it will catch you out like others

Really disappointed with ClearScore. We were in the process of buying a house and our mortgage company refused our mortgage offer because ClearScore added a major default to our credit history which is absolutely false, we have a really good credit rating and have never defaulted on anything. It’s really disappointing that ClearScore hold inaccurate data about people. I’ve come back to add to this because ClearScore have now lowered my credit score with no reason why. They even advised me to take out a credit card to improve my score which I have done and have repaid on time and my credit score has continued to go down.

It's funny how my score went from 550 to 50 in month. I dont know what system you use but information is incorrect.
You staff that answer email are rude and unresponsive to complaints.

Excellent free service. Yes, it may not be 100% as good as some competitors out there but certainly useful for getting a measure of where your credit is at. Having not bothered with this kind of thing for many years, took the plunge and was pleasantly surprised to see that my years of hard work had actually turned my credit around. Impressed.

Terrible service, they are now incorrectly decreasing my creditscore month by month, against a bank account that I have not had for 10 years.
Yet other creditscore agencies showing no change to my score.
Email response is a joke, with them responding to a question I did not ask, now on my 4th email exchange, trying to get them to understand the issue.

Clear Score have been an absolute nightmare to deal with and just signpost you to Equifax. I have a hard credit search on my clearscore report that Equifax have confirmed (in writing) should not be on my account so its clearly (excuse the pun) ClearScore's error. You can't speak to them on the phone, they only email generic replies. Loosing the will to live!

Incorrect information, old contracts active even though ended years ago. Credit score has plummeted but giving false reasons. It states I have a joint account but it became a seperate account years ago. Not good or reliable.

Worst company ever. Atleast Experian reply when ive joined them. Ive tried to join clearscore for months now as i had some fraud happening on my credit accounts. I wonder if there actually a real company. I've been trying to login for ages and have even given my I.D. to them too and they still havnt replied for months. I quit with this rubbish company. Im going to Experian.

I took the suggested credit card and overdraft, and used them reasonably hoping to improve my score, and my scores have gone down instead of going up and have stayed low ever since thanks for this rubbish Clearscore.

On my 24 call ClearScore is the worst cleared my credit card of thousand of pounds bank informed them 10 weeks later they still haven’t rectified the problem my bank Halifax have emailed them yesterday and agine nothing done I’m now complaining to my bank agine this should not be allowed to happen ClearScore is definitely the worse

You get emails saying you can have these cards/ loans. You press them and go to ones that are rubbish. If you can’t have them, don’t show me.
Also if you move, it hard to change your address as it holds all your old one and takes weeks, if your lucky to change.

Information is inaccurate and out of date. They will never address this, and say it's based on the information they've got and it won't impact your credit score. I look to see how it's changed, but I'm not impressed at all.

The scoring system doesn't make any sense, Experian is the largest credit reference agency and according to them my score is at Max and can't get any better! Luckily unlike Experian clearscore are not a credit reference agency so their scores can be taken with a pinch of salt and dismissed accordingly.

Most of their "updates" on your profile will be 3months+ out of date, took me months to get things off my account that should never have been their in the firstplace and they will email you daily about credit offers at ridiculous rates you have no interest in.

Ever felt like your being held to ransom! Can't even get a balance transfer card to save some money on interest, my credit score is soaring high apparently at 514 on Clearscore none of the balances are correct actually state I owe more! I've cancelled credit cards 2 months ago my score didn't budge I'm making great inroads with overpayments etc my score still stayed at 514, raised a complaint on several occasions only to be told to contact lender direct? So what's the point of Clearscore??? or any other company like them, so folks I'll tell you what the point of Clearscore and it's counterparts and that is to screw the general public for every penny they can and stop genuine people from improving their finances, nothing will change unless people speak up and get these greedy companies stopped.

Rubbish. My score plummeted to shockingly low for absolutely no reason (in fact I'm pretty sure it should have gone up!). For a while it said I didn't even have a bank account, and it took months to accept that I was indeed on the electoral register. I really get the feeling this website is more about advertising credit cards... Not for giving a proper credit score of any kind.
