The credit matches said I was pre-approved for a credit card which I was declined for so wouldn't trust the info in future!

Still says that I am living at an address that I was in 3+ years ago despite being on the electoral register in 2 places since. Have contacted but nothing. I now pay to have a proper credit report by one of the major players and all my information on there is correct (and has been for 3+ years worth of records) Not only this but I tried to use 3 different offerings from clearscore (credit card etc) when they were selected specifically for me and my credit rating, turns out that I was declined from all 3. So, not very accurate either. You get what you pay for and unfortunately this rings true here. If you care about your finances, want accurate products and your information to be true, you are better off spending a few quid a month and going with the big boys ONE MASSIVE PLUS - ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE ADVERTS!! What doing?

Brilliant service! Ultimately it is down to ourselves but clearscore is FREE and can help in regards to accurate information, advice and pool of financial services that they broker for and give there clients (us) a leg up and more choice! A lot of banks will just go through there generic reviews and ultimately 'computer says no!' Very USER FRIENDLY and love the advice about mobile phones! Keep up the good work

Terrible customer service via their credit agency Equifax who just send default template messages irrespective of what you write to them about. I have grave reservations about the financial information Equifax hold on people after my recent dealings with them as they were unwilling or unable to find a 30 year current account which my bank has assured my on 2 occasions is available for viewing by credit agencies and is in good standing but realistically could be running a massive over draft which is not being serviced. They make the job of making corrections on your credit incredibly painful even with all information disclosed to them. The end result is I have been unable to persuade Equifax with all the relevant information to add my current account to my credit file. incredibly poor and unreliable!

Good Lord, what a terrible service and website! The first time I opened an account with Clearscore, they somehow managed to add someone else's name to my account, having no idea who this person was, I queried it. With that, CS said that they had the very latest info received by their partners, one of the Credit Ref Agencies. I was looking at the very same Credit Ref report they claimed to be running from from their partners and there was no such name. So, I deleted the account. Several weeks later, I decided to give this service another shot to see if any improvements were made, but only this time, I did not exist at all! I inputted the exact same info as previously...I mean, how many other ways can you provide your current and previous address as well as DOB???? And, again, I called them and got the same answer....they download the info from their partners so, the info must be correct. Its like putting teeth. I wouldn't bother using CLearscore. Just hop along to use the other free service, Noddle - that site is clear, easy to set up and the info on you is correct at the very least.

This is really useful to have as it gives you up to date information on all your credit and when you find your credit score has improved it gives you a huge lift in your life. This should have been available years ago! Gives you total control over your spending. Highly recommend this

Clearscore have highlighted an inability to deal with basic issues. I've asked for simple information to be corrected on my account. It's firstly very difficult to contact clearscore and after this had been done they responded with a generic message. Terrible customer service. Anyone who is thinking of using this service I'd advise you dont.

Utter rubbish. All of a sudden my score dropped by 200 saying I'm not registered on electoral roll. So the question is if I'm not registered how come my new address is showing in my account details page?. No clarity and inaccurate credit checking agency. Clearscore and Equifax( THE WORST EVER) ????????

Great, totally free, easy to use and understand, get a free credit report monthly. I have recommended ClearScore to several friends already and would defiantly recommend it to everyone. Absolutely no hidden monthly payments unlock many other credit scoring websites. Worth everyone of the five stars I've given it ????????????????????????????????????????

I joined ClearScore and thought it was brilliant at first. I watched their coaching videos on how to build my credit history. Said coaching video told me to get a credit-building credit card, it suggested a card for which I have a 95% eligibility rating. Applied for said card and was rejected. Thanks ClearScore now my credit rating has gone down thanks to your 'great advice'. My advice to anyone with 'thin credit history' go to your local bank (in branch and in person) and follow their advice that way you won't be doomed before you've even borrowed on credit.

Awful. Information is not accurate and customer service is not interested in helping me getting it removed. It shows old defaults on my account from loan company's who have gone out of business so they can't remove it. It's up to Clearscore to get it removed but they won't. Stick with Experian!!

Really good experience, help me to find an alternative to cut the interest rates of my cards. Only one down point was I found that I had one negative information due to not be register to vote on the Council which it was incorrect. It's being a challenge to put that right.

Does what it promises, and in a very user-friendly way. Follow up emails are reassuring rather than pushy and sales-orientated. Unsure why all the low scores, especially when the response is.....please contact us to help you, which clearly they haven't, before leaving negative postings....alas, such is the nature of the 21st Century social media platform. The only part I was uncomfortable with was disclosing my salary (the cynics among you will surmise that is because I am embarrassed by its magnitude - far from it, it is less than 5 digits p.a.) so I just entered £1 - still got a good rating, so it doesn't seem to affect your score :)

Finally you can check your credit score free of charge. Not only that, but this website is nicely designed and easy to use. It shows you your credit rating and a report of how the rating was calculated. It gives advice on how to improve your rating and tracks your rating over time. Highly recommended.

By their own admission they said I was on the voters role yet their report still says I'm not. Now they say I don't have any credit cards which is total rubbish. Trying to get them to display accurate information is a total nightmare. The lenders send it to them but they don't change the info. Waste of time. Get a proper report from Credit Expert.

This site is one we have all been thinking about for many years. So congratulations to the founders and I hope they have many, many, exciting years ahead. How can we find out our credit score without having to pay a monthly fee, and why should we. It is our information so we should be able to access it for free, as often as we want.

Amazing! Can't believe it's free... Found out my bank didn't cancel an old credit card years go when I told them to cancel it. So got that sort the same day I signed up with ClearScore. Can't wait to find out my score next month!

STILL WAITING. I THOUGHT MY REVIEW WOULD CREATE A REACTION. IT HAS PROVOKED THE MOST AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER COME ACROSS. THESE IDIOTS HAVE GONE OUT OF THEIR WAY TO AVOID THE ISSUE. DISGUSTING. I wish I could leave no stars. These people are idiots. Spoke to somebody at clearscore last week, they told me they would correct my info within 15 minutes. I am showing as owing £8K on a loan which was redeemed in full on 30 November. Do these idiots have no concept of how wrong info can destroy people's lives?

Ok so, I have applied for a loan and been declined , even though my credit score on other websites is good. The gentlemen at the bank advised me to check all my 3 credit scores on the different websites. Checked 2 an it was fine. I got to clearscore, made an account fill in all the details and after all this work I got a question mark instead a credit score on my Dashboard. Nice! I have had loans , credit cards, registered to vote, telephone contract. bills. They have nothing on their records. It is upsetting. I have emailed them , they are supposed to contact me after 3 working days. Nothing happened. I even tried to call and leave a message. Left my email address. Nothing again.

Clear Score is far and away the best Credit Agency to arrive on the scene. Its refreshingly simple and easily navigable website matches its excellent national television advertising campaign. The arrival of Clear Score has already revolutionised the previously predatory credit agency environment and I for one am delighted about its existence and look forward to watching its growing success.

What a joke. I followed their advice and my credit score (which was above average locally and nationwide) has been dropping month on month. The way things were going, I;d be on zero by the end of this year. What's the point?

When I first opened my account it was quite useful but it would not update my address (after a year!!) And then my score dropped because 'my oldest credit card is not very old'. But previously my oldest credit was fine (at over 10 years in use). Then I realised it's because that credit card has somehow disappeared off my account. How does that happen?! I shouldn't have to delete my account and open a new one for this to be right.

My first year's experience was very good with ClearScore. However, more recently they have been nothing but incompetent and well when it came to customer service - there is non. My credit score had been wrong for 3 months in a row (a very low and wrong score). I decided to use a paid service instead which happens to be their data provider (Equifax) that quickly cleared up the misinterpretation of my credit. Suggestion: as you scale place your customers at the heart of your business. It took me 5 emails and a dm to your twitter account to even get a response regarding this issue.

Great looking site, registration process was very simple and the dashboard is very clean and concise, however, it would be interesting to know what factors actually make up your score from a numbers perspective. Credit report details are easy to find and well laid out too. Suggested offers are well placed and plentiful within the site and also provide a percentage chance of acceptance, so that will be useful when I am looking for a credit product. All in all, this is a great credit scoring site, especially given the price tag of FREE, however, my only gripe is that ever since I've been a user (approx 2/3 months) the "Goals" and "Timeline" section of the website have been "Coming Soon", and for me these are mostly the reason why I signed up in the first place. Get these sorted and this will be one of the best web-apps for credit scoring out there in my opinion...

I took a loan from Amigo as I received email saying that they offer first month free interest on the loan - after taking a loan I was told that I have to pay full interest and there is no promotion and to contact clearscore. No one is replying to me from clearscore. Bullsh*t

Just deleted my account. Information not accurate. It did not contain a true reflection of the credit I currently hold or the companies that I hold the credit with. If the information held is incorrect then the credit score will not be correct so I fail to see how this service can help build your credit score or assist you with keeping up to date with your credit score!

Following some financial dificulties, I was making my way clear and my credit score was around the 450 mark when I joined Clearscore. Following their "coaching tips" I applied for a credit card - which I did not need and rarely use, paying off the balnce in full every month. My credit score immediately dropped, and 2 years later is 271 I think this has more to do with commission on the cards than improving our scores Once again proving, if a service is FREE, you are the product being sold

Finally a free credit scoring site that gives a true reflection of what financial information is kept about you, unlike other free sites Clearscore tells you if you have a good score and doesn't seem to want anything in return, I even got a pat on the back for falling in the excellent category, the android app also makes accessing your score easy, highly recommended to all. Beware of similar sites which score you well below what is true with the view of selling you products to improve your score.

I always thought I should be able to access my credit score freely if the finance companies can do it. But I don't know why it always was a paid service to check your credit score. Now thanks to ClearScore I can have a report of my credit history every month and this makes me feel I am in control. ClearScore lists all your debts and finances and offers you products that suits your situations. I haven't used any of these myself but my partner is applying for a credit card soon. I recommend using ClearScore.

I found ClearScore easy to use and navigate through the site. I think that the offers are limited but i'm sure that will improve as the site grows. I found the perfect loan for me and if it wasn't for ClearScore I would not of consolidated my short term debts and free up a lot of spare cash. I would definitely recommend . 10 / 10

I thought this service would be great and does show great promise, however, my credit reports with other companies are fine, but since I joined this 3 months ago, it keeps telling me my credit score has dropped significantly month on month. There is no reason or explanation as to why it has dropped at all. Nothing has changed in my circumstances or in anywhere in my dashboard at all. So since joining them, my credit rating kept falling month after month for no reason. I'll stick to my other credit reports thanks. They seem more accurate. Account Deleted.

Not impressed with this service at all, especially when comparing to other services such as Experian. Around a year ago I completed paying off a mobile phone contract, my score with ClearScore subsequently decreased by around 100 points - their reason - it was due to having a reduced line of credit which credit lenders would view negatively, however my Experian score went up significantly due to being able to prove I can pay off a line of credit (which is the logic reason). More recently my score has gone down again - their reason this time - because I have been on the Electoral Role for 2 years at the same address (that just seems ridiculous doesn't it?!) meanwhile, my Experian score has increased again. All in all, this service seems to randomly decrease your score for reasons it would actually increase - useless and un-insightful.
