Absolutely no reason whatsoever in denying me a card. No warning of deduction 46 points just for applying and being denied. What a God awful way to run a business. There should be a warning BEFORE you apply that if you do not qualify for the card, there will be a mega drop in your credit score. Best steer clear of these Muppets. Not everyone takes Amex anyway and they charge the most out of all the cards that's why retailers don't like them and refuse to take them!

The building looks very nice from the outside. Can’t say much about working there because I don’t but I have heard they treat people very good and there’s lots of career possibilities especially for women. Great place to start working in brighton if you come from abroad and you’ve just moved here

Applied for their AmEx Gold Card and got denied. No reason as to why they rejected the application even though all requirements were fulfilled. After the rejection the credit rating dropped by 135 points (13.5%)!!!
Absolutely devastated about this! Tried contacting them numerous times to find out what happened, but nothing. No explanation or apology from AmEx whatsoever!

Disgusting customer treatment: I was rejected despite a solid 6 figure income WITHOUT any explanation why, and then had to wait 4 months to re-apply.
Looks like they don't want my money then (:

- Frustratingly unhelpful rejection explanations, so you don't know how to change and improve
- To dispute, you need to send them a letter as if we are still living in the stone age which both wastes time, money and is bad for the environment
- No tips how to improve any credit scores or how to build credit ratings
- Decisions take over a month with numerous pointless phone calls
- 3 months ban from re-applying if you were rejected
- Inconsistent statements from various staff
- No reimbursement of travel expenses during interview
- Disappointing employee perks
- AmEx often refused with merchants and online

A great place to work. For a corporate building it is beautiful to look at. With clay stone work created by AMEX staff and pupils from the local primary school providing a very unique wall. Recommend spending time looking at the individual clay pebbles.

Lack of transparency, despite having always paid for their services, they revoked my card, without specifying the reasons. Certainly with me it is not like they have made a great impression on us. If the cards are not given to honest people who pay to whom do you want to give them? To those dishonest and who then do scams?

The best credit card. Customer service is always friendly and really kind. When you have a trouble they are always ready to quickly help you. If some shop doesn't accept it please stay away, it's the sign of not serious persons. I have tried even MasterCard and Visa before AE but there are no comparisons. AE is extremely more serious and professional.

This place is excellent if you are passing by and you happen to be employed by American Express that company if you are not employed by American Express the company then this is quite a difficult place to get into for example I went there hoping that I could swap my visa card for an American Express card because I like the American Express card that is black the black card is very very nice and people like James Bond use the black card because you can buy lots of things with it such as you can buy a very expensive car or you could buy a spaceship with it that is how good the American Express black card is but when I went to the reception desk and I said hello I would like to buy a spaceship with an American Express black card they said that I should leave I don't really know why but apart from that it is a most cement place

I have submitted an inquiry on AMEX saudi arabia website inorder to obtain the AMEX alfursan card, ofcourse after waiting 3 days for the amex team to contact me i was disappointing that the information they have on the website are different than the information the lady from the sales told me, they said they changed the salary limit from 15000 to 20000 SAR whereas on the website its 15000 SAR, and they didn't mention if this is for Saudi nationals or non saudi's. This is not a professional way to deal with customers by giving false information on the website, if you are a well known international company you should not fool customers in this way, what a very bad first impression.

Excellent Customer Service ,Been Amex Member and have Platinum ,Business Charge cards etc for over 16 years .The Website email service can however go thru to call centres in India But Amex Brighton UK, usually resolve issues Quickly and proffessionaly,Delighted with service .Cheers Shaun.
