EON Energy

Absolutely infuriating trying to do anything with EON. They send you round in circles on their website and on the phone. Trying to set up an account I was on hold for over an hour. Now I need to cancel our energy and there is no way of contacting them. The website 'isn't working' so no live chat available, and calling them will get you nowhere after going through every menu option to find out they are only answering the phone for 'emergencies'! I'm moving house so need to cancel so I'm not paying for energy at somewhere I won't live anymore!! They preach being quick and easy but my experience with them has been anything but that.

I was very very briefly a customer of E.ON, I disagreed with the amount of the bill, contacted customer services who failed to explain. He simply was unable to. Faced with such incompetence, I moved back to previous supplier immediately. I tried sorting It out but E.ON just insisted the amount was correct. E.ON then sold the debt (a small amount) to a debt collecting agency. It has been bought by multiple debt collecting agencies (they like to call themselves solicitors to sound more respectable). PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT TRANSFER YOUR electricity and gas to E.ON if you want to keep your sanity.
