I want to understand what these guys are doing in this shop. Waited in the queue like supermarkets one to be served by the most non-interested member of stuff. No afternoon or thank you for waiting. I could see a guy running around doing nothing , the guy with the fitting couldn’t cope of how busy he was and another 2 cashiers who didn’t have a clue why they are there. Shame for such a busy business, especially now when everyone is turning into cycling more than public transport. These guys need clear instructions on how to manage on a pandemic crisis plus more enthusiasm , motivation and more respect for their customers. Hope someone will see this and make a change.

Terrible service, arrived for my appointment to pick up my daughter's bike and was rudely spoken to when asking where to pick the bike up from. Then the bike they made was faulty, this descended into a full blown argument between the staff as to whose fault it was.

Customer service rubbish been calling them All over 3 days morning evening An afternoon no reply I feel halfords should close down there store. I really dislike Halfords, they are often overpriced, lacking in stock and pricing across the stores, but the team here although lacking in some communication skills (they are young) they were brilliant in terms of serving and fitting. 15mins, lights changed, charged and a safety check... really impressed.

Got my bike from here last week. Was served by a lady called Carmel all i can say is excellent, efficient and friendly service! Also needed some tyres for my bike they arrived super fast and Carmel fitted them straight away. Great service will use again for my next purchase :) thanks again Carmel for hooking me up!

Went here during the covid-19 lockdown time. I queued for over 2 hours due to the fact they were only allowing one customer in at a time. I had reserved online before arriving believing it would be quicker which was not the case. If it was for the fact i needed this item straight away and halfords were the only place to sell it within a 15 mile radius to me i walked have walked off. Also realising they were still doing finance for new bikes, being the reason each customer was taking long also took the liberty as they should have another customer point just for that specific thing. Can wait for queues to go back to normal.

Terrible treatment from this branch. Took back a Lifetime Guarantee battery with the receipt. I explained it wouldn't hold any charge at all. Reece said he had to put it on charge for 24 hours !!!!! Went back to the store the next day, the battery still wouldn't hold a charge but they then said it's a problem with the vehicle !!!! Wouldn't give a replacement battery, would only sell me another for £100 (cost price, he said ). Looks like they're doing this to other customers by reading other reviews. Took the battery to another branch and it was replaced immediately. Terrible service from Balham branch, definatly wouldn't recommend !!!!!!

They don't pick up the phone, my click and collect order was supposed to be ready 7 hours ago. Needed the items today, when I ordered it said they would be ready to collect in an hour. Have now wasted a day waiting.

Unfortunately the system during lockdown isn't working. Halfords is open but noone is allowed in the store - the staff have to go and find your items for you. This means standing in the queue waiting for each person to have shopping done for them. It took them 20 minutes to serve one customer. I was 5th in the queue and simply wanted to buy a bike lock. You will stand in the queue for over an hour for one item. They're either under staffed or need to change the system. If we can go into supermarkets they should let at least 2 customers in this store at a time.

I left my bike for repair in the 6/07, they told me it will take 3 weeks... Its the 20/08 and still haven't heard from them. I'm calling the store and no one is answering.

I had a really good experience at this store. I needed my bicycle gears serviced and popped in and they were able to do them while I was waiting. It took them just 5' and now they work perfectly.

I went to the Halfords in Tooting Bec to get a flat tyre fixed. I was greeted by Dean who helped me a week ago with some lights. He was professional and incredibly friendly. Not only did he fix my tyre very quickly he was very helpful and chatty too. I enjoyed my experience and if I have any bike issues in the future will be returning for sure!

I'm really pleased with the service I received here especially from the fitting team and the store manager. I have a Peugeot 208 which has a notoriously lll thought through and difficult to access fuse box, and so took it to Halfords to hardwire a dash cam that I had already bought elsewhere. I also had to leave my car with the guys in store who did not kick up a fuss about this and had a very Can-Do attitude which is rare to find these days. So far the DashCam is working as you would expect, the fitting is very clean and neat and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Halfords Balham to anyone considering visiting in the future. Thanks guys
