As an American living in London I need to file taxes both in the US and UK. Bambridge Accountants have the knowledge to handle all of this and provide a high quality of service at a reasonable price. I personally met Alistair and Callie when I started up my own business as well. Alistair’s knowledge of accounting and tax regulations impressed me. Bambridge will be handling all of my business tax returns as well. Alistair, Jessica and Callie are a great team to work with and I have peace of mind knowing that my tax returns, all of them in each country, are done correctly and on time.
Update for 2019, I'm now working with Christian on my UK taxes and he's been great to work with, answering questions about my taxes in a quick and professional manner. Another member of a great team to work with.

It is very hard to understand the positive reviews of this place. They did absolutely no due diligence before preparing my company return, relying entirely on my initial statement of income and expenses -- other accountants I have dealt with over the past 20 years have asked some basic questions based on that preliminary information, and have made significant adjustments accordingly. I was ultimately completely confused about how they calculated my company's tax liability. In short, my experience with them -- both Jessica and Alistair -- was simply terrible.

I'm so pleased I decided to use Bambridge Accountants to get up to date with my US tax returns. What could have been a very stressful process was made easy with Callie's support. Callie explained very clearly what needed to be done and from day one my mind was put at ease. I found Callie to be very professional and efficient while being very easy to talk to. My emails and calls were answered quickly & the work itself was completed within two weeks. The fee was very reasonable and I will continue to use Callie for future tax returns. I recommend Bambridge Accountants and Callie in particular.

My partner and I are US citizens living in the UK. After struggling to file our US takes ourselves, I engaged Bambridge Accountants. Alistair communicated promptly via email and in short order he had completed and filed our returns and determined we were due a refund based on a US-UK treaty—a method for filing that is not at all apparent when following IRS instructions. We are very pleased with the service and will use him again next year.

I used Bambridge Accountants to come into US tax compliance using Streamlined Procedures. I consider myself an "accidental American" with no ties to US at all. Alistair and the team made the process very easy for someone like me with no knowledge of US tax.
Prices are upfront and honest and very reasonable. A criticism of other firms is that the headline price does not include all essential forms. This was not the case with Bambridge and I paid exactly what I expected to pay.
Citizenship based taxation is an egregiously unfair tax policy, but Bambridge will help make the process as painless as possible.

Working with the team at Bambridge was quick and efficient. Alistair asked me all the relevant questions up front, gave me a list of easy to follow instructions on what documents I needed to provide to him and once those documents were provided, turned around the returns (both state and federal) in a matter of days. Everything about this interaction was of the highest quality and I would very much recommend Alistair and the team at Bambridge for any American living in the UK.

Really happy with Bambridge Accountants. I reached out to them as I was a year behind on my taxes and they helped me quite quickly. I have only corresponded with them via phone or e-mail and they have always been prompt to respond. Once I sent them my tax information, they turned my tax return forms around very quickly within the same day. I have used them again for 2016 taxes and was really pleased. They filed my extension request and as the extension date got closer, they reached out to me to remind me of my taxes. I will definitely be using them every year.

I have been submitting my US tax returns with Bambridge Accountants for the last three years and they have always been a pleasure to work with. They made it really easy for me to get caught up with my tax returns when I realised I had still been supposed to be filing them since I'd moved to the UK (!), and then have been very efficient and straightforward to work with ever since. Their friendly reminder emails are definitely something to be grateful for as well! I looked around a fair bit and in London I didn't find anyone else who offered better value for money. Definitely recommend.

I can't believe I just received a solicitation email from Bambridge. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. I too cannot understand any positive reviews of this practice. We used them for a couple of years and then suddenly they didn't return phone calls or emails. I went up to London to try and see them at the office and it had a balliff's notice on the boarded up door. It ended up costing us money to pay all the fees on the unfiled tax returns and we reported them to the ICAEW. They are no longer members of ICAEW. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

DO NOT USE THIS ACCOUNTANT. They are the absolutely the worst. I have been chasing Allistair Bambridge (owner) for over a 6 months regarding my US tax return which I have already paid for. He doesn’t return calls, and has now stopped answering my emails. Shockingly appalling business practices. Absolutely avoid these scam artists at all costs.
