I recently contacted Sean Randall with a query about the Stamp duty holiday. He responded instantly with good advice that we sincerely hope is going to save us £15,000. I wrote to Sean Randall at Blick Rothenberg asking for some advice regarding SDLT law, about which he is a renowned expert. Not only was he extremely responsive, but he gave me accurate and direct advice (very rare these days) - and he did this without charging (so rare as to be almost non existent). He is genuinely interested in his area of expertise and this shows. I want to make it clear that the advice he gave was NOT what I wanted to hear so I hope that adds weight to this review. I am in my mid 50's and honestly I have never come across someone so engaged, knowledgeable and genuine. If he comes up as someone who might be able to help you, you would be a fool to not get in touch with him

I contacted Sean Randall at Blick Rothenberg recently for some advice on very specific SDLT issue. Sean was very helpful from the first phone call and was able to provide us with quick guidance and supporting documentation to back up our SDLT claim. Would give less than 1 star if I could. They made mistakes on my tax return over the space of two years which led to me having to do it myself in order to avoid paying a fortune in tax to the HMRC. Wouldn't give me the time of day in helping me get to the bottom of the issue since our company (rightfully) changed accountants

I very rarely write reviews but having come across the reviews posted here, I felt compelled to write my own review, as, my experience with Shelley Stock Hutter (SSH) (who were recently acquired by Blick Rothenberg (BR)) has been the polar opposite to that of the individuals commenting.
We have been using SSH, now BR, for almost 10 years. We are a family business and over the past 10 years, Richard Churchill, and his team have helped us grow nine companies (with disciplines from real estate development, FCA authorised property fund business, and a management business).
I have made countless recommendations to friends who need specialist start-up advice (limited capital and need a firm to help them grow) and friends who are looking to exit (They helped a friend sell their company for 90M USD).
I find their advice to have been spot on and always with the client’s interest at heart and taking a long term view as smaller businesses often need a great deal of assistance in their early years of growth.
I can whole heartedly recommend this company based on my extensive experience in dealing with them.
