I approached CLC last year when a particularly nasty situation arised within my business between shareholders. I was introduced to Seamus Smyth a partner and top litigation expert. I can't really praise Seamus enough! He dealt with a highly sensitive issue with compassion but firmness and was incredibly available even though he has a very busy schedule. All I can say is I'm glad I had CLC and Seamus on my side. A highly organised firm who actually care about their clients welfare and not just thier billings. Rare in solicitors circles I'm sure. When Seamus was in court etc, Hattie Irons, his assistant would keep me informed of any developments and she needs a mention, for her general efficiency and lovely nature with clients. I spoke to many firms in the process of tracking down an acting solicitor; often feeling uncomfortable from their either overly eager/salesy approach or their lack of understanding of the facts/context. Graham was truly a breath of fresh air and it is understandable that the likes of the Guardian newspaper think so too!

It is a pleasure to work with CLC team from both sides: as a regular client and as a partner in business activities. I would like to share with you my opinion maybe in non-conventional way, however I believe that you will find it valuable. CLC team with its more than 100 years history on the British market, is like… a quintet of skilled kung-fu warriors famed throughout all of China. They represent combination of Master’s styles. Like a Tiger, they have a strong sense of justice. They act fast and they are opened for options. Because of their knowledge the opponents are often overwhelmed; like a Viper they know with accuracy how to use weak points. On one hand they are similar to a Crane, they keep balance, but like a Monkey, they can be unpredictable, focused on your, as a client, interest. When they deal with really huge case, instead of attacking, they redirect the force of the opponent, which is identical to wise Mantis Style. I based my opinion on cooperation with CLC in these legal areas: commercial, commercial property, corporate, dispute resolution, employment law, intellectual property, professional negligence. It is a trustworthy team and this is a reason why I put both, my professional and personal, cases to them.
