Been using this store since it opened and the staff are always friendly and helpful. That even goes for the guard. There are things that annoy me such as running out of things but I know that a few years ago they reduced their storeroom size to make the supermarket bigger as well as becoming a post office since the Old Street main office closed. One thing that I really love is that it opens at 6 am Monday to Saturday which allows me to go nice and early when there is few customers. I am meant to be shielding but at 6 am I am often the only customer. A Google search has it wrong as it says it opens at 7 am on a Saturday.

Ordered a delivery for my 87 year old nan - they did not deliver, she has sat around all day waiting for them, she has no tea, milk, or bread ! i called them and they do not care - i called back and they are now closed. She has been waiting for 6 hours past the time slot that we paid for (yes paid for) Their response is "due to the weather ....." im sorry , but if you cannot complete your orders THEN STOP TAKING OUR MONEY !!!

THIEVES ....................... Took my money and did not deliver the shopping ! Do not use this service. They have no way to contact them and they do not tell you the order will not be delivered ! the order was not cancelled so they have just stolen my money ! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED , so dont complain now when they rip you off

For the 2nd time in 10 days this Coop is unhelpful in delivering groceries that I ordered and have paid for, and the head office can literally never be reached. Don't order from Coop online: no one will take responsibility for your already paid food!!

On Saturday, I was at the self service checkout when I was overcome by a low blood sugar episode making me dizzy and nauseous. The staff were exceedingly helpful during the 10 minutes it took me to recover. I'm very grateful that I wasn't rushed out of the store but allowed time to recover. Thank you.

I was just in there on my lunch break to grab some lunch a few bits. I put my bakets just under the self service counter while I paid and put my stuff in my bag when the women who work there snatch the basket and in a unpleasant tone said it dont go go and walked off. I know the state of play at the moment but know need for rudeness from your staff.

The self-service machines are card only, which is appalling. If you need to pay with cash and need/want to avoid interacting with people, you don't have the option. Society is becoming increasingly cashless but cash still very much has its times and places and is valuable.
If you have a condition which causes anxiety: make sure you have enough money in your bank account!

This is the closest grocery store for me, and I really like it - it has a decent amount of options available, and I actually think they've recently added certain things to their inventory.
The only reason I won't give a better rating is because there is one thing in particular that really bothers me about this store: there are constantly staff members restocking shelves ALL the time. Even when it's super busy and people are trying to walk around, staff will be blocking the way as they're working.
I've never understood why you need to do this all the time - perhaps wait until closing or do it in the morning? But there's no reason why so many people should be working all around this tiny store all day, especially when it's busy.

Today I went to pick up a package from co -op. After I presented my ID and showed the email regarding my order, this woman checked and said that my package isn't there. She told me that the man came to deliver today and that it hasn't arrived. I told her, that it arrived on the 14th of April. I asked her again multiple times to check somewhere else, but she told me, it is not here. But I asked AGAIN would you mind checking and she said it's not here, but she didn't even go anywhere to check, she then started saying that I'm raising my voice. So Instead of her TRYING TO LOOK for my package she more interested in arguing with me and trying to prove her point that my package ain't there. We then ended up in an argument because THIS WOMAN does not know how to talk to clients and customers. She also told me if I was not at work she would take me outside and show me what she will do. That is NOT HOW YOU SPEAK to CUSTOMERS who kindly asked to check again! She was very rude and disrespectful! Then another woman kindly found the package elsewhere.

Hi everybody, just so you how badly Coop treats their customer when they are facing troubles with their products. Here is my story.
5 months ago I broke my veneer teeth biting into a slice of loaf bread from co-op because there was a piece of hard material in it (stone or glass). I was really angry because this teeth was just new and I was supposed to keep it at least 15 years...
I declared the accident to Co-op customer services the day it happened and asked Co-op to pay for replacing my dammaged teeth. I sent a lot of messages but they didn't answered.
They finally accepted to study my claim 2 months later when I began to post some messages about my story on the social media.
After 3 months without any news, they finally told me they would pay "as a kind gesture" 500£ out of the 2000£ this accident cost me. I provided them with all the invoices, and receipts. They didn't ask any question, they didn't try to investigate on what happen. They just said that they don't know how a stone can be found in their product and refused to face any responsibility.
They know that going to court to sue them is going to cost me even more money.
So I just don't have any option left to make my rights heard.
If you know how I can make face their responsabilities, please help me. I just want my money back.

Store was alright, queue was a little long at self checkouts - but to be fair it was 6:45pm
However, shelves appear to have out of date labels on prices/offers? I was mischarged for something that was supposed to have an offer.
