I’ve been shopping here for years. Wide range of produce but has become very overpriced . Most of the cashier staff are abrupt, unhelpful and rude with the exception of one. The man at the meat/fish counter is helpful. It used to be cheaper than Loong Fung but not anymore. The shop could do with refurbishing and reorganising.

Great place for shopping was recommended by my son's new (mandarin) teacher. Will definitely be back

Queue is normally long and it just doesn't make much sense to me to have one door for both entrance and exit during this COVID time.

So much more than first meets the eye! It takes several visits to get to know this store (and for them to get to know you); but, once you get to be a 'regular', you will feel really at home in this charming, old-fashioned, cornucopia.

Really good Asian grocer in Chinatown - they have most Asian ingredients you need, but the main reason I go here is the fresh/live seafood! It's perfect if you're looking for pomfret, live flower crabs, tiger prawns, and even mussels and cockles. The prices are very reasonable too!

Shelves were near empty on previous visits, but recently it's been restocked, so it's a little bit better

I shop here regularly however will not be going back during Covid times. This store appears to take next to no covid precautions! It was VERY crowded, had only one entrance open - people entered and exited through the same small door which also happened to be right next to the check outs! Extreme congestion! There was no one checking that masks were being worn and no sanitizer anywhere to be seen. Totally unacceptable during Tier 3 restrictions.

Hidden on one of the streets in China town. If you like Chinese food, u must visit this store. I usually get chilli flakes in oil with fried onions. Amazing product that goes with anything. Meat is exceptionally fresh, some hard to find somewhere else. Fresh fish , lobsters, prawns and see food. Those are displayed alive in the tank.

DO NOT DESERVE MY MONEY. Shopped there 3 days in a row to buy some fruit. 3rd day I came back... a female cashier tells proceeds to tell me she didn't want to accept me credit card because it was a "signature card." EXTREMELY RUDE, COULDN'T EVEN LOOK AT ME when she was talking, and couldn't provide me with an explanation why she couldn't accept the same mc/visa they had been accepting from everyday prior. Very very unwilling to help on anyway.

Seewoo now does delivery across London of essential Asian groceries! The full product list is on their website. Be careful, there are two Seewoo websites, so make sure you're on the right one. I've now ordered twice, and while I'm grateful to be able to get delivery, they are not a fully slick service so there might be the following issues: 1) When you email the order, you have to wait for them to call back to give you a delivery date. This could be days/up to a week later. And it has to be delivered the next day after they call you to take payment 2) I had an order come a day later than was given 3) I've had items missing from my order, some charged and some not 4) I've had an item expiring 4 days before my delivery date, and another expiring the same day. 5) They cannot process refunds at this point, the only thing they can do is after COVID lockdown is over, you have to visit the shop in Chinatown with your invoices and complaint, and they will sort it out there. So if you're willing to accept the above, then this is a great way to get some Asian groceries delivered directly to your door.

Love this place, my favourite Chinese supermarket, it's a bit small, but store is always quite tidy, products are fresh and priced reasonably. I love their fresh seafood counter. Always come here if I am in the neighbourhood to buy some seafood.

Amazing prices! I come here for turmeric root and chicken/fish. Prices are so much cheaper than anywhere else and one of the few places in London you can find turmeric root. Amazing selection of spices, curry powders, coconut milk, nuts etc. Upstairs is Japanese/ Korean and they have a lot of snacks.

If I can possibly put on no star I would definitely do that. Went there today to get 6 boxes of Crispy Aromatic Duck and Spring Rolls. Ended up being told off by an unreasonable cashier for not doing her job and expecting me to be doing it. First off, it's understandable that the place will be busier than usual due to the approaching festive period but the management should get more staff to accept orders. I tried to get more information from the lady but she said she was too busy and told me to write it down. After writing it down and passing it to her she didn't even bother to check before giving it to the picking staff to get them. The guy ended up taking too many boxes of spring rolls but I stopped him before it's too late, however he got upset and started swearing in his own language. This lady blamed me and told me I should have made it clear to her what I want when that was what I was trying to explain to her in the first place. What kind of service is this? She was practically blaming me for every single thing which she should have done. This is definitely the last time we would ever step in. We have been to Wing Yip a few times and the service has always been great there. This is probably incomparable but the fact that convenience in distance doesn't stand a chance for good service and good pricing.
