Awful customer service.. delivered half my shopping yesterday evening and on contacting the store manager he assured me he would call me the following morning to rectify a time slot. No phone call so I tried to contact the store.was on the phone for 2 hours ,they don't answer the phone. Eventually I spoke to the same man he was very unhelpful,no apology and told me he had other issues.I won't be shopping here again and I am putting in a formal complaint .

The shop itself is good, staff are nice too. Only downside is when I get an Online delivery, I'm usually missing at least one item.
I assume as this is my local shop, this is where there items are picked from.

Worst Store ever store manager is rude
And gets in your face
Two weeks ago went to Iceland angel Islington got my shopping and went to use school vouchers witch the member of staff said there was nothing on the card so i paid for my shopping.When i went out side the store i checked the balance on the voucher and there was money on it so i went back in to talk to the manager the manager saw me waiting and still kept serving other customers knowing he knew I was waiting to see him when he eventually come to him he spoke to me very rudely and spoke down to me so when I mentioned about his customer service he was sarcastic and said to me what do you want me to do put a red carpet out for you and was being very rude and then he starter getting into my face and because I wouldn't back down he told me to leave the shop and stayed in my face until he got me to the door I asked his name he covered up his badge and said my name is manager about 5 times every time I asked for his name I've been in touch with the head office and it seems like they can't be bothered to get back in contact me with a out come it seems like iceland allow there management to speak to their customers however they want very unprofessional not only the store but the head office too

Boneless chicken breast. ????Great place for barbecue foods,drinks in bulks,nice staff.
Only thing is sometimes tills are closed. Also a large selection of fresh Vegetables and fruit.

I love Iceland, they do fab bits and lots of hidden treasures for reasonable prices. This store is one of the better ones as well in respect of size and always clean, there is one guy who usually helps pack the home delivery items with tattoo's who is very helpful and always goes out his way - sorry I never got his name. Once helped me carry my bags to a waiting black taxi as there were no more home deliveries which I didn't realize, just offered to do it, no asking and no fuss. Of course there are sometimes long queues but that is to be expected especially with what's going on now and is also not the shop floor staffs fault.

Staff have no idea about covid
While at the till one member touched another members hands to show them it was cold
She had not washed her hands as she had just come from outside and was not wearing a mask which also meant I got to smell the cigarette she had just been smoking
Also while waiting to pay another staff member stood in front of me not social distancing and had a full conversation with his team mate in their own language which I find very rude
Serious I see why the numbers are so high in Islington if this is how people in supermarkets behave

Good value for money, convenient, well stocked and late opening which is great. Not just frozen - A good selection of fresh fruit and vegetables and chilled foods as well as grocery basics.
Check out is an issue. No self check out and no more than two staffed lanes are ever open. The fast lane check out for baskets was installed at last refurb and has never been open regularly.
This store needs a dedicated check out for home delivery as the packing etc takes ages and holds everyone up.

I find an Iceland shop similar to a Co-op shop. Full of everyday shopping items your cooking - not cuisine would not taste the same. Cheap, cheerful no nonsense in and out with a satisfied "great, meals sorted for the week", sort of look. Each location has a local 'feel' and the staff are a well known face that reassures you when you're wondering whether there's enough money in the food budget to buy the lot..

great value, and free delivery.....unfortunately the delivery team are a bit dim, so you may need to chase your order up, and I have had to do so twice in the past 12 months, and you will need to do so in person, as they don't answer their phones either....still, its miles cheaper than my nearest local supermarket, which in this part of Bloomsbury is Waitrose, so I am counting my blessings to fall within their catchment area.....UPDATE - I never did get any answer to my letters, emails or phone calls, but a fortnight later I was in store, asked to see the manager, the shelf stacker asked what the problem was, and then headed backstage, returned with a receipt with my name on it and said it would go in with that days delevereis, I thought I'd better quit while I was ahead, so didn't wait for any apology or explanation, and did get the goods, thank you so very much Iceland. Their value of money score is the polar opposite to the score for the customer relations, so shop here for value coz they sure as hell don't employ Miss Congeniality.

Friendly staff and quick service. I pop in here once a week or so and it’s almost always hassle-free. It’s an Iceland so you know what to expect. All types of cuisines, all kinds of meats, all manner of potato monstrosities, most of it frozen. If it can be put onto a pizza then Iceland are probably selling it. Their fresh vegetables aren’t great and so I tend to avoid and purchase them elsewhere. The selection of sauces is great though and they’re much cheaper than at other supermarkets.
