Terrible service. I went in for a part recall and I couldn't be less impressed with the service. I asked for the part to be replaced and the oil changed. They didn't do the oil change and told me they didn't know we wanted that. Here is why you didn't know that. Matt didn't write anything down! He collected my number and said he would call when it was ready. Leading up to that I was directed all around the store. When I made it to one department, two guys were standing there whispering about a customer they just disagreed with right there in the store. The customer was a soldier in uniform. After about 7 minutes the two guys finally acknowledged me and then sent me to the wrong department. During that 7 minutes, they were just whispering between themselves. I think their names are Peter and another heavy-set fellow who couldn't be bothered to do something as simple as wear a mask right. The only reason I am giving a two-star review is that there was a gentleman with black hair and a black beard who was kind and walked me over to the right department. Once, I was finally in the right department. The woman behind the counter seemed pretty annoyed that I would interrupt her cell phone time. After waiting for another 10 minutes Matt finally showed up to collect my number and keys. Maybe the company is understaffed and overworked but holy cow it doesn't seem like anyone wants to be there. Glad to hear some people have had some good experiences because mine sucked!

From our very first contact via the internet to driving away with our new Ford Ranger Lariat, we had an exceptionally smooth experience from start to finish. Our dedicated sales agent Leah Jenkins, was there to greet us with a focused, professional, non-pressuring, and knowledgeable process. We felt confident in the information she provided, and of her knowledge of all the many features, buttons, and displays in the Lariat. The technology is quite fascinating and also fairly overwhelming, but Leah knows her product and she told us that if she didn’t have an answer, she would find it! That in of itself, is the mark of a professional in our opinion! Also important, is that this particular dealership has a sense of a teamwork-environment that we have not seen at other places. Our needs and wants seemed to matter most to whomever we spoke to, whether it be Dan in finance or Dominic in accessories. We will not hesitate to return!

As mentioned JD was our salesman, he was great to work with and did not pressure us into anything we did not want. There was a cosmetic issue with the used vehicle we discovered during the test drive that got missed on the inspection originally. However, they went out of the way to make it right and ordered the parts for it and even offered to drive 2 1/2 hours away to bring us a loaner car while ours was fixed and brought it back to us. Great customer service. I can think of no other dealer that would go out of the way to make it right. Highly recommend!!

Brought in my truck for a rear main seal repair under warranty. Got it replaced and got the truck back. Left to get gas not a mile from the dealership and under the light of the gas station I saw that my hood was damaged, brought it straight back to the dealer and they said they will repaint it. That’s great but the damage is done and as a car guy I know it devalues the vehicle. Then a few days later I decided to look at the rear main seal area to double check, it was leaking worse than when I dropped it off.. So now I have a truck that is leaking worse than when I brought it in and has hood damage. I hate doing this by publicly putting out a negative review but it needs to be said. The service representative that I worked with was excellent and super polite so far. Pictures are after the “repair” UPDATE 1/09/21 So I got the vehicle back after they looked it over again. Service tech said it was the coolant leaking from a hose and the coolant was making its way to the engine/transmission mounting point so he fixed the coolant hose, I was never losing coolant in the time I had it back for a few days after the rear main was fixed so that's interesting and the truck is still leaking from the area that the transmission and engine mount to each other. Very disappointed in the technicians ability to determine where the truck is leaking from.

My wife and I bought a new F-250 this week from the team at Phil Long Ford of Motor City. This was by far the best vehicle buying experience we have ever had. Our process began by coordinating with their Internet sales team. They quickly answered our questions, sent us the additional photos we requested, and even made a side-by-side comparison video of the two F-250s we were interested in. Negotiating a purchase price was done at this point too. So, on the day of our purchase we arrived at the dealership without a concern about "haggling" with a salesperson. The sales staff on site was well prepared. Our review of the truck's features and test drive went smoothly and was enjoyable. Finally, the experience we had in the finance department discussing warranty options and final numbers was just as enjoyable! Seriously, it was. We got a great price on the truck and good rates on the warranty coverages we chose. Absolutely no buyer's remorse here. We highly recommend the great team at Phil Long Ford of Motor City.

The service and quality at this dealership are exemplary. I brought in my high mileage Focus ST for suspension noises and issues that were properly diagnosed and efficiently repaired. My service advisor Zak was professional, courteous and friendly. He proved to be more then helpful and effective in gaining approval from my third-party warranty company to cover all parts and labor required to repair my vehicle. Zak and his peers were even able to provide me with a nice, new, reliable loaner during the duration of my vehicle's repairs, which were completed on time. The waiting areas are clean and comfortable. The cafe has good food and hot coffee. I highly recommend the service department at Phil Long Ford Motor City.

Decent prices but the staff has been giving me the run around when it comes to fixing my vehicle. Its been over a month since I purchased a truck here and have not received any information regarding warranty or what was initially fixed during the first service. Truck keeps going into limp mode and this problem was supposed to be fixed during that first service. Still happening. I called and tried to make sure there was no more confusion in what needs to be done and I kept getting transferred around from sales to service and no one seemed to know what I was talking about let alone what vehicle I was talking about. Then one lady in sales kept interrupting me and making assumptions on what I wanted while not allowing me to explain myself. They finally transferred me back to my salesman Bryce and he told me that the check engine light is off now and they will look into it after I already told them what the issue was and that it wasn't fixed the first time it was mentioned. This vehicle is unsafe for use and it currently needed to commute to woodland park for work from the springs. I will not be buying another vehicle from here.

Bought a used truck for cash, test drove it all was fine. I went in and paid them and did paperwork while they detailed it, they dropped it off at my house a hour or so after paperwork is done and next time I drive it there is a loud clunking noise from the front and a deathwobble now they don’t want to refund my money, what kind of shame are they running at this place. I guess it’s time to call a lawyer, sad when a big business does a customer wrong like this. I will never do business with them again and would recommend if buying something once you test drive don’t let them drive it again.

My wife’s dream car is a white Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon. Phil Long Ford had a beautiful 2018 Rubicon. It was my wife’s dream car! I drove down from Denver to Colorado Springs. I knew I didn’t have the money to buy it when I went to look at it. I would have the money the following Wednesday, and I hoped I’d be able to get them to hold the car for me! Jeff at Phil Long wanted us to have the car and sold it to us anyway! He then offered to follow me down to our home in Littleton so my wife could have her dream car that day! I could not recommend this dealer any higher! Work with Jeff he will take care of you!! Even Christian the sales manager was a delight to work with!! The Perfect Auto Buying Experience!! I saw this Escape Hybrid listed on Phil Long Ford Denver (which is where I live). I called on it and was told it was actually in Colorado Springs. When I asked if there was any reason they would charge me sticker price instead of internet listed price, the fella seemed intent on finding out WHY it was listed at such a great price and NOT at the higher price! Well I did not feel good about dealing any further with that fella (name excluded) so I called PHCos directly. Lindsay was absolutely fantastic and helped me do everything over the phone. Once approved I raced my trade in down to the Springs and brought my little dog. We were greeted with true enthusiasm and friendliness. Soon we met Eric who handled the rest of the process. I could type paragraphs on how AMAZING and AWESOME he was/is. My new Escape is beautiful. The entire staff was wonderful. The entire process was perfect! 6 out of 5 stars!! On a recent trip to Colorado Springs, a vehicle failure on a vehicle we had purchased 6 days earlier, brought us to Phil Long Ford. We live in Minnesota so we were distressed, 1000 miles away from home and a vehicle with less than 30,000 on it and we were stranded. Phil Long Ford was able to look at our vehicle within an hour of us calling and informed us it would need a complete rear axle replacement, fully covered under warranty, but not what we wanted to hear. Brandon, in service, was very helpful and they arranged for us to take a loaner vehicle until we decided if we would stay in Colorado Springs or go home. The next morning, we called Brandon and stated we wanted to rent a car to travel back to Minnesota as the parts were at least 6 days out. Brandon helped arrange a rental car for us, to which the rental car company brought it to Phil Long to meet us there. When we returned to MN, we received phone calls making sure we had made it back okay, reports on the progress of where the parts were and what was happening. When we returned to Colorado Springs 4 weeks later to retrieve our new car, it was filled with gas and we cannot say enough good things about the excellent customer service we received from the Service Department at Phil Long Ford. They truly turned a very stressful situation for us into one that we ended up truly enjoying working with their dealership. We highly recommend Phil Long Ford to anyone in the market for a vehicle!

The only good experience that I had at Phil long Ford was with Miss Debra in the title department. She went out of her way to make sure all my paperwork was correct and that we were on the same page. She understood how bad of an experience I had with my dealer and went out of her way to make things better. As for the sales side, I’m completely disappointed. I definitely feel like they got my money and then didn't seem to care about the aftermath. I asked my salesperson if I could transfer my plates from my old car to new car. After multiple times of reminding him to ask, he stated that he spoke with “a friend” in the title office and that the paperwork was already submitted. A whole month later Miss Debra called me and asked me if I wanted to transfer my plates. My state allows 10 days to return your plates so what did I do? I expedited the shipment and sent them back. Now I’m going to have to pay an additional $50 to buy new plates. My husband spoke with the supervisor regarding the lack of communication and they said they were going to cut me a check for $60 to help compensate for the plates and expedited shipping. I received the check today. The only thing I’m asking is for them to close the loop on communication. I’m totally okay with an “I don’t know”. But I fully expect my salesperson to follow up with the correct department to find the right answer. For being a dealership around 5 military instillations, you would think they would have their stuff together. I would NEVER recommend the sales department to any of my friends or Soldiers that were looking for recommendations for dealerships.

Fast and professional job installing a spray in bedliner in my 2019 Ram 1500. Looks awesome! In addition to the fantastic job installing the bed liner the staff to include General Manager and receptionist were extremely helpful and friendly. Well I have had Fords since 2014 and always had them serviced at Phil Long. They seemed to do a good job but things went bad all of a sudden. Took 3 days to get a oil change and a factory recall. I had to call 2 manager who would not give the courtesy to return a call. After many calls and texts over 3 days I finally found out my vehicle was ready and they suggested additional repairs They recommended another $1700.00 in repairs but i will not have them done here, I will go to a good shop. Never Never going back there again.

I kept getting a “recall” on my 2018 Ford Escape, but I’ve been working from home, so I ignored. Bad idea! My car just stopped on my way to my neighbor’s house! So I called Phil Long Ford, and they sent a tow truck to move my car to their service garage (about one hour away), free of charge, and provided me with a rental (again, free of charge). Sending a giant shout-out to Zak who provided EXCELLENT service and explained exactly what was going on with my automobile ever step of the way! Bottom line, I have a brand new engine (at no cost to me!) and a new appreciation of Phil Ling Ford’s service department. I highly recommend this company, and I can say without a doubt that every person who does business with Phil Long Ford will be treated with dignity and respect!
