We called and spoke with Felix to verify the vehicle we saw on the website was still available. He advised it was, we made arrangements to meet him. We arrived, met by Felix, shown the vehicle, and the sale was made. He handled our sale with the utmost professionalism and the right amount of personal touches, making us feel a part of the family, not just a sale and commission. We later found out he was new. He is truly an asset to your company, and I would feel comfortable in referring any of my friends to him.

Update: After 2 weeks, texting the salesman and emailing Phil Long Ford. I have received zero responses about getting a second Key as promised. They would not provide 2 keys with my vehicle at the time of purchase even though I gave them two with my trade and all the extras. Additionally I wanted to buy a Ford Extended Warranty. They were asking $4300 for the warranty and would not go down on the price. I called Ford and their recommended cost for this plan is $3000 and that's with the dealership already making 25% on the sale of the warranty. Instead Phil long pushes a inferior Century warranty that they make more money off of.

I needed help from Phil Long Ford of Motor City two times this week. First, trouble with starting my car and that was an excellent experience, truly beyond my expectations. Next, grinding when I applied the brake. I thought the worst. Geoff called when he was a few minutes away so I could be ready. I really appreciated that. He was courteous, professional and friendly. I was having a tough day and he kept me calm. I thought the worst, thinking the repair would be expensive. Shortly after the car was picked up, I was happy to get the call that it was a simple fix and no charge. My car was returned to my house by Geoff (again calling when a few minutes away) and I could not be happier. He even stayed with me to explain the repair and I truly appreciated that. The best customer service and staff!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I dropped my car off for a new car warranty main seal oil leak repair on Dec 3rd. They’ve been handling this poorly. My car was ready for pickup on the 16th. I went to pickup only to discover they did not place my hub axle back on correctly so it got ruined. They’ve had my car since the 17th. I’ve heard nothing and was promised it would be done last week on Tuesday before Christmas. I lost 5 hours of work pay going back and forth with them. Such a disappointment because the first time I came when I bought my car I had a awesome tech and felt like I was their #1. Be cautious about getting your vehicle serviced here.

Took my F150 in while still under an extended warranty. I was having issues with the front differential making grinding sounds, and a burning smell when using 4x4 in recent snow. They found nothing wrong and said the sound was from my front tires. I took a look today. Oil leak and burnt oil was coming from the back side of the front differential and the smell that fills the cab is prevalent. I don’t know how any professional technician could miss something this obvious. The truck has been with the Phil Long Service Dept. for 3 weeks. I have had to call for updates constantly, when no information can be given they say they will give a call back. They have been “too busy” 13 times to call back. I have gotten conflicting information for different service reps over the status of my truck. I’ve been in the Ford family my entire life, and will definitely not be continuing from now on.

Outstanding! I received exceptional customer service when interacting with Peter Mullica in the Service Department. He provided excellent communication throughout the repair process and was prompt, courteous and professional from beginning to end. Peter researched and sourced the needed part when it appeared to be no longer available. The technician, George, also took time to make sure the part was correct and discussed the repair before starting work. All of the Service Department members I came in contact with were first rate and dedicated to completing the repair quickly. Thank-you to this team at Phil Long for exceeding my expectations.

I'm here visiting Colorado Springs and my car needed an oil change while here. I stopped into Phil Long Ford as I always get my oil changed at the Ford Dealer. I've always been treated fairly at my home town Ford Dealer. As I learned today, not all Ford Dealers are the same. My $40 oil change quickly turned into a lot of money. Tires needed rotating, air filter needed replacing, battery needed attention, and the biggest problem was engine light just came on when I drove there and for them to tell me why will be $175 diagnostic fee! I tried explaining air filter just changed in March, the battery fairly new and my Ford Dealer who I go to at home, usually tells me the code and how much to fix but has never charged a diagnostic fee. So anyone reading this, go to your local parts store where they loan you for free a gadget that you plug into your car to get the diagnostic code. It was so easy, I did it. Took few seconds. I went to Advance Auto Parts and they were the best. They educated me on my battery which did have some corrosion but not a lot and easily cleaned by me. I'm still working on getting the code fixed but at least I didn't pay Phil Long $175 of money I don't have.

I love going here to Phil Long Ford. I met with Jose because my usual guy Peter was on vacation. I was speaking with him about a tune up for my 06 Ford Mustang GT and he waited a moment while I talked with my husband and let him know how long the time would be for them to do it. So he walked over to the guy that does the tune up's and made sure that he had the time. He came back and let me know that they had the time. So I got a tune up, oil change, and a brake light bulb changed as well. They got it done in about 2 hours and Jose was SO helpful and he was absolutely amazing!! Between Jose and Peter, they are the only two that I will deal with as they are always so kind and helpful and treat me very good! They never talk down to me or treat me bad because I'm a female! They will always have my business as long as they continue to have amazing guys like Peter and Jose and awesome techs that take care of my vehicle! I've never had a problem and the pricing is decent as well! Thanks for doing a great job with both of my Ford's and thanks for having such awesome guys work the front desk!

The team at Phil Long gave me an excellent deal at near 10% below MSRP; they were very open to negotiation and price matching other dealers. Not only this, but they were able to get the vehicle with the options I wanted even though it was not on their lot; they didn't try to force something different on me. Great team!
